Lovely room with all the amenities. Bright, clean and new. Only complaint is that it is easy to hear people walking around upstairs. I would recommend staying in a room on the top floor.

The hotel itself is very good, but as we travel with two small dogs when a hotel says its pet friendly we have generally found that they go out of their way to make that as easy for you as possible. And as I had used the hotel in the past the room that was given to me then was just a few steps away from the dog walk area (the parking lot). However this time our rooms were at the far end of the hotel and it was about a five minute uphill walk to the parking lot. I know it doesn’t sound like a lot but when it’s 10 at night or 5 in the morning and it’s uphill that can be a lot. One of our boys made it the entire way but our 13 year old only made it half way before he couldn’t hold it any longer. Which is a shame because we always try to honour the hotel policy but needs must when you’re an old dog. I did comment when we were checking in that previously I had stayed up top close to the dog area but she just said that our rooms were our rooms. Needless to say we WON’T stay there again. I will say that the rooms were absolutely spotless. They also don’t provide any breakfast, think there is a coffee maker in the room but that’s it. I think they can do better. In the US for a hotel at this level there would be luggage carts provided because AGAIN 5 minute uphill walk /: ( to the car park and there would certainly be a breakfast bar.
