What guests think

At Quality Inn & Suites, travellers consistently praise the friendly, accommodating staff and the generally clean, good‑value stay, while noting that rooms facing the main road can be noisy and that experiences vary depending on room location.

Breakfast is frequently described as good with plenty of options, though the small area and variable quality (weak coffee, limited items) are mentioned. The pool and hot tub are appreciated when available, but guests report periodic closures, cool water or maintenance/cleanliness issues, plus limited parking and paid EV charging. Rooms are comfortable for the price but dated, with smaller bathrooms and occasional loud A/C or sporadic Wi‑Fi performance. Expect a budget‑friendly, convenient stay with standout service and some trade‑offs.

Dirty, dead bugs on floor in bathroom. Pool had a hairball the size of a soft ball drifting around. Hot tub was low and foamy with filth. Nice check in staff, notes up around saying that the staff are assigned towels and if they are stolen, the cleaners are docked off their pay cheque so the customer would be charged if towels were taken. Not seen that one before.

Generally good. shower needs a bathmat as it is easy to fall. Pool/hottub room is not as easy to enter as it could be. Facility was in a convenient location and quiet. Plenty of hot water.

The location of the hotel was not bad, but when stepping outside there wasn’t really any special view or nearby attraction. The entrance was quite simple. Parking was good and free, which was convenient. Breakfast was very limited in selection. The room itself was clean and tidy. The pool and hot tub area was nothing special and didn’t feel very clean, and the water had a noticeable smell. In the end, though, you get what you pay for.

This property was absolutely filthy. You would think an owner would have some pride in a property but it shows the sole purpose is to make a short term buck as no one would ever return. Even the parking lot had never been plowed all winter which made even entering dangerous. The hallways look like they were never cleaned and the rooms were obviously not cleaned. I’m not a picky person but the head office quality control should make a surprise visit.

Spent 2 nights at this Inn. Friendliest staff, each and everyone of them. Clean, large room, great variety at the continental breakfast which was open at 6 am. We are early risers so worked for us. Shopping mall next door, Irish Neighbourhood pub across the street, great eats. Will always be our go to place in Vernon. Only negative and its minor, paper plates too small at breakfast and weak plastic cutlery. Again friendliest staff.

We stayed one night while passing through Vernon. Our stay was fine; room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast was ok but could have been better. Staff friendly. Good location. We were on the street side of the hotel and it was quite noisy all night with traffic and sirens. Earplugs are recommended. Hallway carpets could use a cleaning. The breakfast was basic; egg and sausage patties rubbery and bland (likely heated in microwave). Some flavoured coffee creamers and hot chocolate would have been nice. Overall it was a decent place.

The check in went very well. The staff were professional, courteous and accommodating. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and there was extra security on the patio door. There were several restaurants in the area that were close enough to walk to. The pool and hot tub area looked good although we did not use those facilities. The air conditioning unit in our room made excessive noice as it went on and off throughout the night resulting in a poor sleep for both my husband and me. When we brought this to the attention of the male manager in the morning, he was quite dismissive of our concern and unprofessional in how he spoke with us. He was unwilling to enter into any kind of an amicable discussion to properly resolve the matter. We left with a less than positive experience and we will not return.

I used to always stay at Sandman hotels but for some reason I chose to book my latest medical stay at Quality Inn. To start, booking in at the actual Inn was unusually fast & I had asked to be on the main floor as I have a physical disability that limits my capability to use stairsl plus any travel 2 hours or more I have to travel with an 'escort". I used to go with my husband but we are divorced so now A somewhat unimportant fact : I booked through Expedia...? Anyway, I also booked for the wrong day & had chosen 'book now to get this low price; but its not changeable or refundable'. I'd chosen that because I had previously canceled (for a very legitimate medical reason) the appointment & thought if I lock myself in I'll have NO excuse. Anyway, I'd booked a room for the 4th to the 5th of Sept 2025 when I got my notification from the medical depot I was going to, the appt was for the 3rd of Sept! I called the Inn & the manager was so lovely, adjusting the dates at no charge. As I had booked through Expedia I had a few extra steps, but he very nicely told me what I needed to do & answered all my questions. I had to make a 2nd booking with the correct dates. Then call Expedia, explain my mistake & have them call Quality Inn to confirm he ws allowing the change at no charge. After confirming that, the Expedia customer service representative said the refund back on my card within 72hours....it was, at most, 24-Hours.
