The indoor atrium with pool and hot tub is a standout, with on-site restaurants and plenty of seating for groups. The pool is often reported cold, there’s only one elevator with long walks to rooms, and parking/grounds upkeep is uneven.

We looked out on the highway, so I can’t comment on noise levels from inner courtyard. The inner courtyard was very pleasant to have Sunday Brunch in. The staff were attentive at the restaurant. Overall the hotel was good value and clean. I wish it had 2 elevators, but otherwise it was fine.

Had an overall great experience at this hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful with all our questions and requests. The rooms are clean and cleaning staff did amazing job daily. Our room was overlooking the pool, which could be a bit noisy in the evening with kids in the pool areas as to be expected. The fitness room was awesome with new equipment. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay here.

The room was clean. The pool and hottub were nice. Staff was pleasant. Around the hotel there are tars on the ground and cigarette butts on the ground. A bit grubby the grounds. We paid $30 extra for a dog room...dont know what the $30 was for. No doggie poop bags, no special area for dogs to releave themselves. There was carpet in the room and it had NOT been cleaned from the last pet. They need to get rid of the carpet and put in vinyl plank or laminate..easy to keep clean. No doggy towels to put the water dishes or feed dishes. So in other words the hotel is dog friendly and they charge you more money for the room but dont have anything that makes it dog friendly. Fridge was also all frosted up.

We were treated very kindly and professionally by front staff. However, upon turning down the bed late in the evening, we were quite disappointed and a little grossed out to find multiple black hairs on the sheets (i am bald and my wife is a blonde). We called the front desk to let them know. They offered to comp a meal in their restaurant but weare leaving early in the morning so I would expect to be refunded completely for this stay as compensation. Time will tell. Have had very good experience with both expedia and prestige hotel chain in the past. I sincerely hope this was a " one off". - G. Garost

The lobby is nice but beyond that, the hotel is aged and dirty. It’s very humid, and the AC was not working in 2/3 rooms of the rooms we had booked with our family. The toilet was not working in one of them. It was very noisy due to the rooms facing the atrium. The river they advertise is a dirty slew. We had dinner at the restaurant and the service was beyond poor. It took 35 minutes to get our drinks because the service staff was just sitting around. It took hours for our whole family to get their dinners. I would never come back to this hotel.

I stayed in room 145. Overall my experience was good. The one issue I had was the viaduct for air, outside of my room was consistently making noise throughout the night as it’s not a fitted pipe but a plastic shoot. This noise just kept waking me up throughout the evening, but I’m sure for more sound sleepers it wouldn’t be an issue.Guests were respectful and quiet in the space and the location is otherwise great, offering you lots of services and amenities around the local area and the hotel staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the local area.

Hotel was generally clean and well cared for. But for the price I feel they could have done a bit better in some areas. Was happy they accept pets there, that was a good thing.

It provides excellent access to the grocery stores, gas stations, shops and restaurants. Easy access to Hwy BC/97. What you see on the picture here in Expedia is what you see when you get there. Clean room, room attendant cleans rooms everyday and changed the towels everyday. A well-deserved Tip! Since we don’t carry cash, I went back to the hotel after checking out and personally gave my tip to the room attendant. The staff (front and room attendants) was very helpful and friendly. The property is very well maintained with the pool. Ambience is so relaxing when you visit the reataurants. I love the atrium! No free breakfast. We had a great time and would definitely book here again in the future and would recommend to a family and friends.

Disappointing Check-In Experience Despite Prepaid Reservation We had a fully prepaid reservation through Expedia for a superior suite. However, upon arrival, the front desk staff insisted on charging my credit card again, even after I showed my ID and explained that the room was already paid for. Exhausted from the road, I didn’t argue and simply agreed to check into what turned out to be a regular room, not the suite I booked. When I returned to address the error, the staff double-checked, admitted the mistake, apologized, and finally gave us the correct room. Unfortunately, the experience had already tainted my stay. The suite itself was okay — renovated and comfortable — but it appeared to be one of the few updated rooms in the hotel. The rest of the property looks dated and quite worn. The pool was decent, though too cold to enjoy properly. No compensation or meaningful apology was offered for the inconvenience. My funds were held for several days due to the attempted extra charge, even though the payment didn’t go through. Overall, this stay left me frustrated and disappointed. I would think twice before booking here again.

Great location! We were going to dinner then a concert at the Performing Arts Centre. A Perfect place to stay for this given that we could walk to dinner and the theatre. The atrium with all the beautiful live plants is such a fantastic area to hang out in, relax and just enjoy the beauty. We had a nice getaway weekend. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but, it is a great set up! We will be back. I would suggest the front desk staff work at being more courteous and attentive to guests coming and going in the lobby. Most of the time they were on their phones, talking to each other or not even looking up from the desk.

The check in/out was efficient and allowed us to check-in early. The room was very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the food quality and service for breakfast was terrible. All the meals were overcooked, bread wasn’t toasted and everything was barely warm. As they underestimated their staffing needs, the service lasted 3 hours! The server also gave us someone else’s bills, as well as not splitting our bills and crediting us our hotel discount as mentioned. Ultimately an off duty manager appeared and offered apologies and a slight discount. Very disappointing for a normally reputable hotel chain.

This is a wonderful unique hotel with most rooms looking out into a beautiful indoor Atrium. Their pub is being remodeled so the only restaurant onsite is the Cabana in the Atrium. On the night we stayed, we ate dinner at the Cabana. Staff were great but the kitchen was short staffed so we waited almost 1 Hour for our food! Our waitress provided us with a complementary round of drinks to compensate for the wait. Food was very good. We had the weekly burger specials.
