So close to the Masjid Nabway. So far (15 min walk) from women gates, however they provide shuttle bus for women to the gates. Room is clean and service is excellent. The restaurant food quality and varieties are excellent.

Bit old everything. Needs a renovation throughout. Very close to the masjid. Staffs were good. Breakfast was not so good for 5• hotel. Could have been better. But overall not a bad experience

I have not stayed in that many Crown Plazas, but have spent too many nights at Marriott properties. So this Crown Plaza is five minutes walk from Masjid Nabawi (South Gates, #305) and extremely convenient from that perspective. It is like a mainline Marriott. Very clean and comfortable beds. Well soundproofed. The breakfast was good. Negatives were that some of the physical infrastructure was not that well maintained. The electric teapot was leaking. The bathroom faucet should be replaced and the shower stall had a backup of water. The only way to fix this is probably to go through the rooms periodically. Given the almost full capacity throughout the year, these rooms probably need more maintenance.

The room furnishings were dated and broken in some cases. The one office chair was falling apart. The carpet was heavily stained and just plain nasty. Had to keep wearing shoes all the time. Will not be staying here again or recommending it.

Nearness to haram, but the stay was terrible because of the foul odors from the bathroom. Imagine staying in that situation for four days. Very unpleasant

Overall good experience, found bugs in the room. At the begining, they blamed us to bring it to the room and I had to speak to the manager, they found a solution to wash my clothes and get another room. Wastee half a day just to get this resolved. Old furniture that need to be refreshed.

Location is excellent. Prophet's Mosque is only three minutes' walk. This was my third stay in the property. Rooms are small but okay. Bathrooms are very small. Staff is courteous and co-operative. Property is clean.

Dirty, amall room, poor day lite in the room facing a big wall. Receptioniat was deceiving by saying “we upgrated you to a larger room at the launch floor”. Launch was closed due to construction, room was extra small and very dirty. So, where was the upgrade? That was poorer cp hotel experience ever. And very expensive!!! You can not trust cp hotels.

Top hôtel ! Le personnel a été très accueillant et aux petits soins tout au long du séjour ! La chambre était spacieuse et disposait de tous les équipements nécessaires. De plus, la vue sur la Mosquée Sacrée depuis la chambre était juste magnifique. Merci beaucoup !

My room was outdated. Whatever cleaning solution they used they used way too much to mask an odor. Blankets and linen were rough. All staff were pleasant to deal with and friendly. I just think that specific Crowne Plaza needs updating. Great location, steps away from Masjid Nabawi.

The location of the hotel is excellent for our prophet mosque. Staff are friendly and cooperative. The room is comfortable, but had smoking smell which was annoying. Cleaning of the rooms after guests leave should be supervised.

The hotel is terrible. The interior design of the room needs a full review. We arrived 7PM and one reception is available as it is call for Magrib and fast breaking so he rushed our check in. Went up to the room and shocked with two single beds squeezed in a less than four meter square even though our booking is two twin beds. I went down complained to the same gentleman but he is hopeless cuz his peers and supervisors are away for fast breaking. He asked us to come after one hour and half and he will TRY to solve the problem. We were exhausted after a long drive but no one bother. Came after two hours and one supervisor came to help us and the surprisingly she has no idea about the complain so we have to start explain to her again - the surprise is she does not know anything about the set up of her hotel room and has to make some phone calls to understand the set up of the hotel room. She suggested to give us a handicap room and ask the bell room to show us the room. we agreed after seeing the room even it is tribble. They put beds in an empty area and block the cabinet and fridge, the fridge was overheated because the bed blocked the air pass and the funny thing the TV is above the bed so imagine how you can watch. Anyhow; we spent the night safely. The funny thing is all staff believe they have walked an extra step to help their customer but reality is not even Hospitality101 yet. This is not IHG members standards at all. Management is bad and staff needs a real training.

Our stay was made special by Mr. Zahir at the hotel restaurant. He went out of his way to help every guest that walked into the hotel restaurant. Fatima & Yousaf at the reception were also very professional assisting us with our hotel stay. I would love to have this repeated experience at this property. Zahir, Fatima, and Yousaf, thank you for making our stay comfortable.

My stay was extremely enjoyable and comfortable. Guest Service by Front desk associates were great, friendly and courteous. From Conceirge, Mr. Saiful Islam was extremely helpful, and he provided guests a great service. He helped me find some iconic places and I am very pleased with his service. House keeping folks are very dedicated and provided great room service.

Best customer service in Madinah area. The staff at the reception board is amazing and pride and extra ordinary Customer Service. I was early and arrived the hotel at 10:30 am. The very pleasantly check me in at 10:30 AM. The next day, I asked for a late check out and again happily gave me a 3 PM check out. This was so refreshing. The staff was so pleasant to work with

Terrible experience. They make absolutely no effort to make their guests comfortable. They know they will always be booked because of their good location (close to Haram) so they dont care if their guests are happy or if their needs are met. They had a buffet every night for about $38 per person but the food is horrible. Super expensive for that kind of such a low quality food. The food they give you on the streets was probably better. And the staff is rude. Especially if you try to ask them to make any kind of special arrangements or exceptions such as asking a refund for un-used buffet. I will probably never come here again.

Great location, incredible beautiful view of the Green Dome few 100 meters from the hotel, very busy and popular hotel, great amenities, staff was responsive and accommodating. For women staying at the hotel, know that women’s entrance to the Mosque is a bit of a walk (gate 30-28) take the hotel shuttle saves you the hassle. Fast food restaurants are on the other side of the hotel. So plan accordingly. And oh, don’t get conned like I did when taking a taxi from the Medinah train station to the hotel ( paid 150 SAR) when it should be 40-60 SAR. And to the Airport is more from 50-75SAR.

The overall experience is average considering the cost for the stay. The property is outdated and smells like smoke when we have specifically asked for a non smoking room for allergy reason. We had to request for the room to be cleaned on a daily basis even though we used the available option at the door asking for house keeping. The shower curtain is ripped and water was seeping out. The towels are old and some had rust on them. Bath towels are weird sizes. The sink was clogged and we had to request 3 times for them to send some one to fix. Thanks to the concierge manager, his name was Mohammad, a very friendly gentleman that spoke English well and some Arabic; he was very helpful, social and wanted to offer help. He was one of the good experience we had at the hotel. The food option at the hotel is expensive. We did not eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the quality. One good thing about the hotel, it is few steps away from Al Masjid Alnabawiyy Alshareef which made us over look so many other negatives and enjoyed to be that close.
