My second time at Swissôtel Makkah and as amazing as the first time. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Warmly welcomed by the front desk agent, they made the check-in process smooth and quick. We requested 2 rooms to be on the same floor, very accomodating and helpful. Incredibly responsive and answered all my questions. Housekeeping was given and checked up on us daily, changing towels, cleaning and giving us extra amentities. There was a breakfast buffet which offered a variety of dishes, bakery items and drinks. Fresh, tasty and very enjoyable for the family. A short walk to Al Haram, accessible to the clock tower and its shops. I highly recommend Swissôtel Makkah to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional hospitality. God willing, I return soon for my third visit.

Good location, however being on the 25th floor was not very user friendly for lifts, had to change halfway down and also not very clearly marked. Also, the on site musallah on the 2nd floor (I think) was miles away. Wasn't easy to get to with my mum in a wheelchair. Otherwise not a bad property location wise.

By far the best stay I’ve had in Mecca and I cannot see myself going anywhere else if I return to do umrah. The services this hotel provides is what differentiates it from other hotels. The ability to hear the athaan from your room keeps you on time for prayers and saves you time from setting alarms. The prayer space outside the hotel area, exclusive to hotel guests, made a huge difference for my elderly parents. The room services provided were excellent and the huge continental breakfast every morning was delicious. Definitely recommend and will be very willing to return.

The hotel is conveniently located in the clock tower building facing the Haram. The room are specious and very clean. Staff are very friendly. Although the area is very busy, the hotel managed the crowd effectively. The only problem I faced is no enough elevators to serve the crowd and I have to wait for long tone especially during the prayer times rush hours.

Amazing location right in front of Masjid Al Haram. Breakfast was the best part, so many options and huge room perfect for the amount of people who come for pilgrimage, also included a lot of stations such as for pancake, omelette, fresh juice etc. Hotel is conjoined with the clock tower and mall so perfect for a quick shopping spree any day with a two story food court. Overall great, will definitely come again

This property is excellent if you want peaceful entry and exit from the hotel. the access to elevators are very easy and you dont have to go through Clock Tower Shopping mall and queue up for the elevators. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was grand. will definitely be going back to this hotel.

Our room was very clean but a little tightly spaced with four beds. It was on 17th floor with partial haram view and no Kaaba view. Staff was very co-operative. No microwave in room. Elevators are very active. Hallways are clean. Directly connects to clock tower shopping mall. Walk to haram from our room door to haram entrance was 5 min or less depending on crowd. Breakfast buffet was very good.

This was our 3rd time at the hotel. Checked in and was given a room on the 2nd floor. As we entered the room, we could smell damp/mould mixed with cigarettes. I called to advise that the room needed to be changed and I was told to come down to reception. As I was given a new room, I thought it would be better however it was disgusting. I was told “all triple rooms are the same” and they were very keen to stop me from explaining the issues in the reception area. - The bathrooms were filthy and the shower stunk of urine. Every-time the shower was used the smell became stronger. - Shower stained and full of mould. - Bathroom door handle loose and could not be locked properly. - Curtains full of stains and dust. - Claimed to be a ‘city view’ room but looked directly in to rooms of another hotel. - Window ledges dirty and dusty. - Bed side table dirty. - Lamps full of dust and dirt. - Very noisy as the room was near the lift and the road outside was very loud all night. - Air con vents full of dust which left an awful smell. I addressed these problems with the staff on the first day to which they were very dismissive. I have stayed at this hotel twice before and this was my third occasion but it certainly will be the last. In general, the cleanliness was appalling and even asking the cleaners to clean was a great amount of hassle. The room got cleaned twice during our week stay despite cleaners always being on that floor.

We stayed here for 5 days for our Umrah trip. It was a decent stay. We are a family of 5, and we stayed in the room with 4 twin beds. The room itself was very crammed with all our bags and not much space to walk. The cleanliness of the sleeping area was fine, the bathrooms needed more cleaning. Overall i dont think the price was worth it, the elevators were always full and lobbies were crowded, however its close to the haram so it was fine. I wouldnt stay again.

I had a terrible experience at this property. The allotted room doesn't even have a stable internet connection. I tried reaching out to the hotel staff, but they were not able to fix the issue or give me a different room. I did lose 2 meetings because of this issue. I don't think I will ever stay at this hotel.

Cleaning staff was excellent, The room was much to be desired. Hot /cold water did not work as desired. AC would get too cold and then hot. Bathroom was Claustrophobic and too narrow when you turn you hit the tap. Mattereses were not adequate.No microwave in the room.

It didnt feel like a 5 star experience. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. It is located in the Clock Tower & very close to the Haram. However, the room was small and the bathroom was extremely small and outdated. The pillows felt like they were old and wouldn't fluff. Extremely disappointed.

We got a room with 4 single beds, room were very congested and hardly someone can pray in the room. Bathroom and shower place were very tiny for 4 single bed room. The best thing was the Kabba view from the room.

Room was good. View was really good, we stayed in Kaaba. Toilet was really small. There was a constant buzz sound in the room coming from outside, most likey outdoor units from the roof for next building, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

My stay at Swissôtel Makkah was excellent overall. The check-in experience was smooth and impressive, and I am truly grateful to the hotel management for upgrading me to a beautiful room with a Haram view, this made my stay extremely memorable. The breakfast was outstanding, with a huge dining space, a dedicated kids’ area, and an exceptional variety of high-quality food. There were plenty of options including beverages, fruits, salads, desserts, bakery items, and more. The atmosphere, service, and organization were all excellent. I did order in-room dining on two nights, and although the food quality was good, both orders arrived with mistakes. The first night, the pasta was delivered with black pepper despite my clear request that it was for my kids and shouldn't be spicy. The second night, I received chicken biryani instead of mutton biryani. The staff tried their best to compensate, sending coffee with a fruit platter the first night and lovely desserts the second night, which I appreciated, but unfortunately it did consume a lot of my time. Overall, the clean room, incredible view, excellent breakfast, and very polite staff made the stay highly enjoyable. I look forward to staying again, in shā’Allāh.

Service is slow. Checkin was 4pm, we arrived at 5pm and still had to wait for another 2 hours to get our room. Room was not in best condition. Bathroom sink had a leak. We asked to change to another room and paid for an upgraded room to get the full view. When we moved to the new room, we discovered that the air conditioning sensor was not working. We spent the first night in a freezing cold room trying to adjust the temperature to the highest temperature thinking it will work. Over all rating is three because of the location. Otherwise, this hotel based on its condition and service is surely a one star

Alhamdullilah I have been to other hotels in the Clock tower but it was the first time staying at the Swiss Makka. We booked for 4 people and only got three beds, other hotels often have a extra bed when you register four people. But they wanted us to pay 200real per night for a extra bed when we booked for four person. The staff was supposed to call me when the room was ready (we came earlier) but did not call, I needed to go myself and ask. The room was stinking of smoke, and the reception wanted to send security for some reason, then the cleaning staff (we just waited for them to clean the room) in the end the agreed to change room, no room was avaliable and they would call when it is ready! But again they did not call again. I came with my family and kids and my parents, we requested to stay on the same level, and that work for the first room. After the smoke filled room they told me thwy will send me 1 floor above. Again its okey, but they moved us 17 floor away from my parents. Cleaning staff is good and nice and other staff as well. But the ones in the reception did not listen or try to collaborate with me. The good thing was that this hotel can be accessed from the ground floor, easier to get up and down to the hotel/room.

Fabulous hotel within Abraj al bait with 2 pathways to the Haram. Price was reasonable and rooms were really nice with comfortable beds. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

It eas a blessng to have stayed so close and be able to pray inside the room. The bathrooms were a bit weird as the shower space was not made well and too small. Also, not being to able to have uber drivers pull up to the entrance was a hassel as our luggage had to be dragged almost 1Km away when checking out. Our driver could not pull up to the entrance while checking in either. Travelling to and from was not easy. However, the staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and the location trumps all other issues. Thanks to all the helpful staff.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable au Swissôtel Makkah. L’emplacement est exceptionnel, à deux pas du Haram, ce qui rend les déplacements pour la Omra ou les prières très faciles et agréables. Le personnel est accueillant, professionnel et toujours prêt à aider. Les chambres sont propres, confortables et bien entretenues, avec une vue sur la Kaaba. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et de bonne qualité. L’organisation est fluide malgré l’affluence, et on se sent vraiment bien accompagné tout au long du séjour. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à toute personne souhaitant séjourner à La Mecque dans de très bonnes conditions.

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights This month. The location is great, frw minutes away from the mosque. The rooms are okay though, tiny bathrooms and old styled furniture but the view on the kaaba was amazing. Also having the speaker was great. On the other hand, the breakfast buffet was terrible. Quality is definitely not one of a 5* hotel and the variety lacks a lot: so much bread but no proteins (only one choice a day so if it’s chicken, u wont find beef and raaarely fish). Also the fruits/juices are not fresh. And there is always a long line for omelettes. I think they should put in more efforts in the buffet because we couldnt find anything to eat during our stay. Other than that, the staff were very nice and helpful.

Everything was awesome except 1 thing. Food was not hot ! We had breakfast and dinner for 5 days. Even if i spoon it from the bottom of the dish. It is very lightly warm.. almost cold. So i would suggest the hotel to raise the temperature of their food!!!! So people can enjoy hot food
