Newer hotel in Makkah and was pretty clean and the mall on the lower level was very convenient. They had numerous of shuttles and was always there and had to change shuttles coming back to the hotel but overall it wasn’t too bad.

This was a great hotel, the staff were professional and the rooms were clean and spacious. There were also plentiful lifts (around 8-10 per tower), so that it was rare that you. had to wait more than a minute to be able to go upstairs/downstairs - something which is quite rare with other hotels in Makkah. There is also a small mall within the basement which we found very useful for being able to pick up snacks + water late into the night. In terms of the distance to the Haram, it is probably around a 20-25 minute walk. Whilst the distance itself is not too far, the roads are poorly designed for pedestrians. Due to the volume of people walking, it can be a little bit of a slog to make it to the mosque. We tried the shuttle service once, and it was clean and arrived on time. However due to the traffic on the roads it probably took around 30 minutes to reach the bus terminal, and then another 10 minute walk from there. Having said this, the upside of being a little further out is that you are a bit further from the crowds, it is easier to get a taxi in/out of the hotel and the food in the surrounding area is considerably cheaper than if you were staying close to the Haram.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits, tout s'est très bien passé, la propreté, la localisation, le bus gratuit a 10 min de la mosquée sacrée, le mall en dessous de l'hôtel et le rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vraiment, a l'accueil le personnel était super gentil et polis c'était agréable.

Staff are super nice. They are the highlight of this stay. Amenities were efficient, especially the in-house supermarket. However, the room was not impressive. The bathroom was not as clean when we checked in and its roof has mould. The carpet had white patches and the bed frames were worn out. It’s fair to say that the building, lifts and lobbies are nicer than the rooms based on my experience. Overall, it was okay.

I can’t be very positive about the cleanliness. There is a lot of traffic and turnover at the hotel. Even though breakfast was included, we were charged an additional fee for it. The location is very crowded and somewhat disorganized — a quieter area could have been chosen.

This is a wonderful modern hotel with a lovely room great breakfast where chefs make fresh omelettes of choice or fried eggs. Discovered this later but the dinner buffet is really good as well for the price especially if you're IHG members. Great customer service as first time we went down for the dinner buffet but I couldn't find my membership number so paid the full amount.When I found my number they were kind enough to give me the change the discount would have given me. The slight downside is that this hotel is a bit of a distance from the haram and although it said walk is about 25mins we didn't try that. Taxis are always coming and going but they have a bus shuttle service that runs from and to the the Haram every 20 mins but stops during prayer times. All in all very happy with our stay here and would happily stay there again.

The hotel was awesome besides two things. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable. Also was sooo cold. I called maintenance to adjust the temperature. I was told there’s no heat.

Nice hotel, worth for money u pay, nice location with lot of shuttle bus services to haram. Need some minute corrections like shower pressure is very low, no light on mirror, can’t shave or see face clearly, poor quality of mirror n other bathroom stuffs & please stop that fire alarm blinking light, it’s very irritating in night.

Very attentive and helpful front desk. Breakfast is generous. Allowed me an early check in and late check out. Shuttle to Masjid Ul Haram is readily available. Highly recommend this facility, it’s a 4-Star hotel but nothing less than a 5-Star hotel.

Very poor internet and highly unprofessional behavior from the staff. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable during my stay. When I reported that the tea kettle was already broken, the staff first accused me of damaging it. Although they eventually replaced it, they then warned me that I would have to pay if the replacement broke as well. This interaction was humiliating and made me feel disrespected as a guest.

This place is cheap for a reason, and you feel it the minute you walk in. The shuttle is a nightmare: with the endless traffic between the hotel and the Haram, you waste half your trip just waiting or being stuck in transit. Booking this hotel was a terrible mistake, and I regret every minute I spent here. Do yourself a huge favor and stay far, FAR away from this dump. Avoid it like the plague

Was acceptable as was on A pilgrimage. The first stay a few days before was better as we had a clock tower view and the room seemed larger. Upon check in we were told the room had been upgraded to a Haram view however the only view was a derelict building which seemed to be in the process of being demolished. Retrieving our luggage which we left in storage a few days earlier was very frustrating as we were referred to lost and stolen numerous times before I went to reception and spoke with the bell boy who was great and located our luggage after 2+ hours, which was an inconvenience. Breakfast was good

Walking distance from Haram. Do not take the bus to Haram. It takes you to a bus transfer station where you need to take another bus. Then you have to take another 10 minutes walk. From the hotel you just follow the main road in front of the hotel and it takes you direct to Haram after 20-25 minute walk. Room was spacious and clean. Only thing is the bed which was hard. But maybe other people like it that way. Breakfast was good with enough variety. Diner buffet is nice as well against a fair price. Staff was very friendly and helpfull.

Excellent hotel, very good service. Walking to Haram is approximately 20 mins down one main road or you can get the free shuttle bus which runs regularly to drop you to Haram as well as collect you.

This was a great hotel, the staff were professional and the rooms were clean and spacious. There were also plentiful lifts (around 8-10 per tower), so that it was rare that you. had to wait more than a minute to be able to go upstairs/downstairs - something which is quite rare with other hotels in Makkah. There is also a small mall within the basement which we found very useful for being able to pick up snacks + water late into the night. In terms of the distance to the Haram, it is probably around a 20-25 minute walk. Whilst the distance itself is not too far, the roads are poorly designed for pedestrians. Due to the volume of people walking, it can be a little bit of a slog to make it to the mosque. We tried the shuttle service once, and it was clean and arrived on time. However due to the traffic on the roads it probably took around 30 minutes to reach the bus terminal, and then another 10 minute walk from there. Having said this, the upside of being a little further out is that you are a bit further from the crowds, it is easier to get a taxi in/out of the hotel and the food in the surrounding area is considerably cheaper than if you were staying close to the Haram.

The walk to the Haram is about 3,000 steps, and the walkway is not easy—there are many vendors, vehicles crossing, and it can be crowded. I was in Mecca and specifically in Voco for 9 nights so in all modesty I can give a representative review. Obviously I compare my stay to other 4/5 star hotels I have visited all over the world. The rooms were in general very new and splendid. The bathroom facilities, the beds, the air temperature in the room – everything was really nice. The hotel staff where very nice and welcoming – from the check-in to the breakfast lady, and specifically Younis who where a young man who served juices at breakfast – may Allah bless him. However I will highlight two things that are the reason why I wont come back. 1) Breakfast: The breakfast is pretty much a joke. There are no variations. There are tomatoes and cucumbers and sliced lemon and that’s all there is to it. Most of it is cakes and sweets. There is a guy making omelets but they don’t even use real cheese. The breakfast is NOT worth it at all. For almost 3-4 mornings I didn’t eat breakfast and grabbed something from Jabbal Omar instead. 2) Although the shuttleservice is good, it is still too far away from haram. If you want to grab a coffee, a late night snack near haram, you will have to go for a long time. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, pick one closer to Haram.

Only negative is the price for Iftar. 440 SAR for 3 people is very expense. Specially when we had only few samosas and 2 cups of tea.

This is a wonderful modern hotel with a lovely room great breakfast where chefs make fresh omelettes of choice or fried eggs. Discovered this later but the dinner buffet is really good as well for the price especially if you're IHG members. Great customer service as first time we went down for the dinner buffet but I couldn't find my membership number so paid the full amount.When I found my number they were kind enough to give me the change the discount would have given me. The slight downside is that this hotel is a bit of a distance from the haram and although it said walk is about 25mins we didn't try that. Taxis are always coming and going but they have a bus shuttle service that runs from and to the the Haram every 20 mins but stops during prayer times. All in all very happy with our stay here and would happily stay there again.

Atleast what you can do is to arrange one bus that takes people directly from Voco to Haram Pak and vice versa. 2. Voco does not provide any services like microwave and fridge. One needs to warm up food sometimes and it's a very basic necessity. There is no access to kitchen and refrigerator. The day we were moving out,we just wanted to keep one small box in the fridge for literal 2 hours and they did not allow us. 3.The restaurants inside like Al Karam and Telal, do not offer food individually. We went there during the lunch hours and they simply refused saying it's only for groups(idk which groups). 4. Moreover, there are not any good asian food options nearby that can be accessed easily. So, one finds nothing to eat, neither from inside restaurants nor can order from outside. The only option you are left with is to stick with the in room dining. 5. We called them to provide one plate and knife because we wanted to wash fruits. They even charged us for that (20 SAR).
