Stayed 3 nights

This was my second stay at Novotel Thaker City. My first visit was excellent, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this experience was quite different. My family was accommodated in what felt like an almost deserted Tower 1. There were very few guests, and most of the time there were no staff around. It also appeared that Tower 2 is now the main operational tower, so I was left wondering why we weren't accommodated there instead. Another disappointment was the shuttle bus service, which has been reduced significantly since my first visit. It previously operated 24 hours a day, but now runs for much shorter hours with long gaps in the schedule. This made getting around much less convenient and meant we had to plan our day around the bus timetable or pay for taxis. Finally, when checking out, I called reception for assistance with my luggage but received no answer, so I had to take my own bags down. Overall, this stay fell well short of the high standard I experienced on my first visit. I hope things improve for me to return again as the facilities and rooms are excellent.

Stayed 1 night

When I booked online it showed me that there was breakfast meal included thats why i proceeded then i was surprised that no meals were included when I arrived and was checking in. No coffee sachets were available on the coffee corner which was very strange for an hotel like novotel. Room service did not show up to clean the room at any point. Water was not provided the next day. I was disappointed

Novotel in the uk was never appealing to me, I always saw it as a rubbish budget hotel. That is until I stayed in Novotel Makkah. Firstly just the aesthetics alone are luxury. Never would you associate this type of hotel with basic or budget. I could not believe Novotel could have these types of hotels like the 1 in Makkah. The food is something spectacular but what makes this hotel the best I’ve ever stayed in, in my 40mins of life was the staff. I cannot be more grateful and humbled by the generosity, kindness and attention to detail that the staff
