Excellent hotel; I have been going there for the last 3 years and enjoyed my stay because of the cleanness of the rooms and the comfort due to spacious rooms and bathrooms. The restaurant provides excellent buffet, although is slightly pricey, but good varieties of food is provided. The only negative side of staying here is the transportations from to Haram. Also, drivers are not following the rules of only carrying hotel guests, but rather they allow their relatives to get into the bus and forced hotels guests to stand in the bus while their relatives are occupying seats and imposing several stops before the final destination, which is causing delay and making hotel guests uncomfortable. Management needs to look into such practice mainly done by the drivers!

Very poor first-aid kit . Has absolutely nothing in it to clean or to wrap if you get your self bit cut . Not even bandage. Very disappointed. And thats should be a first priority and been checked regularly for the management or the health department the first-aid kit ... breakfast was nice shuttle bus was convenient.

I stayed several times in this hotel and one of the reason makes me to return is the cleanest of the remises. However, the transportation (bus shuttle service) is poor and needs to be significantly improved! Sometimes overcrowded by non hotel residents passengers and hard to verify also the frequency of the buses is not as advertised! Buses leave earlier than scheduled and more often fully packed! Unorganized and poorly identifiable pick up bus stop in Gaza station near Kaaba. The problem of the hotel is TRANSPORTATION!!!!!

This hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the Kaaba, where cars must stop. It’s in a developing area of Makkah with few large buildings like Novotel, though construction is ongoing. There are some smaller buildings with shops and restaurants nearby, but taxis are still the best way to reach them. The hotel has a 24/7 barbershop, is fully wheelchair accessible, and consists of multiple large towers, dominating the landscape in early 2025. Shuttle buses run to and from the hotel, but taking a taxi offers more flexibility. The distance can be inconvenient if you need frequent trips to the Kaaba, especially for those with mobility issues or requiring frequent hotel access for supplies or restrooms. As for the hotel, Tower 1/2 has the reception staff for checking in and out or talking in person to a staff member. The only real issue I found within the newly built hotel and rooms was that the shower area drained very slowly and was missing half the door. That sounds more drastic then it was but I am sure they can fix it if you tell them as I saw workers there on call for fixing hotel issues like any electrical or plumbing work. I had 2 rooms so I didn’t even bother calling in to get the shower area sorted and fixed. They also have a dining/restaurant on one of the floors and it’s a bit expensive but still somewhat manageable. Best to get the food package if staying for few days.

I only stayed for one night thank goodness it was just that. The check-in process was extremely slow, and when I called reception several times to request fresh towels, they actually hung up on me. The shower area in the washroom was clogged, causing water to accumulate and flood the entire bathroom. I chose this hotel based on the reviews, but the location and overall experience were terrible. It’s very far from the Haram, and the shuttle service was useless, forcing me to take a taxi instead. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to perform Umrah. My experience was truly disappointing.

Let’s start with the positive aspects: • The staff were very respectful — from the reception team to the technicians and luggage service. • The environment was quiet and peaceful. • The reception team responded promptly whenever assistance was requested. Areas for improvement: • The room was scheduled to be ready at 4:00 p.m., but I had to wait in the reception area for about 45 minutes before receiving access. • During check-in at Tower Two, I was informed that my room was in Tower One, on the ninth floor. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware that I was still in Tower Two, so I mistakenly went to the ninth floor of the wrong tower. It would have been helpful to receive clearer directions. I understand the staff were eager to prepare the room quickly, but a brief explanation about tower locations would have prevented this confusion. • A more serious concern relates to the convertible bed in the room. We were not informed that the bed could be transformed into a couch. While sitting near the head of the bed, it unexpectedly collapsed to the floor, posing a potential safety hazard — especially as there was a child nearby. This could have caused a serious injury if someone’s hand had been underneath. I strongly urge the hotel management to address this issue, either by providing clearer instructions or ensuring the bed mechanism is secured and safe for guests. The carpet also requires professional cleaning to maintain hygiene standards and overall guest comfort.

While the hotel in good location and well built. Maintenance is not good. When we arrived the safety box in the room, the coffee maker were not working the bar fridge is extremely small and barely cooling ?!! But the worse part of all the bathroom smell very Sewage odor !!! When we discussed all that with the hotel management non of that was taking seriously and no further accommodations or compensations made. I think this particular Novotel is not well managed and not living up to the rest of Novotel frenchies , disorganized the least to say ,services are sporadic , not consistent .

Hôtel récent, propre, confortable. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Quartier en construction. Service de bus toutes les 30 mins qui a mis moins de 10 min pour aller à la mosquée sacrée. Nous n’avons pas pris de repas à l’hôtel, buffet dîner les week end et pdj tous les jours. Il y a une boutique et un super market en bas de l’hôtel. Service de ménage quotidien apprécié. Fil pour sécher le linge dans la douche. Cafetière / thé et petites bouteilles d’eau à disposition. Inutile de rapporter un fer a repasser ou un sèche cheveux il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin dans la chambre.

The bathroom stinks. The electric outlets do not work except one plug. The carpet is dirty. The room smells. The bus service to haram parts very far from haram . One can get lost and cannot find the bus stop. No amenities like tooth bush or shower cap or nail file is provided in the room. No coffee is provided nor creamer.

Nice room but the shower area was leaking water on the bathroom floor, I had open buffet dinner and it was average for the price I paid I expected more extremely limited options all hot food main course food was not suitable for vegan or vegetarian I ended up with salad and it was very bland, terrible store bought juices also when I asked for coffee they told me they out off it like seriously.

Clean room, comfy bed and room. Staff was wonderful. They are very helpful and do all they can to make your stay a good one. The only thing I would like to mention is the location. The location is a bit off from everything, and is around 7-10 minutes from Haram. They do provide shuttle services which alleviates the problem of having to find a ride to Al Haram. Just know there isn’t much to do in the surrounding area, but that’s the only thing that I have to say about the location. Definitely a great stay for a great price!

Our room unfortunately had a strong smoke smell. The receptionist insisted that all the rooms were non-smoking, but that didn't match our experience. He then told us that it would take an hour to get us a new room since it was so busy and sent room service to spray the room instead. Bathrooms were clean. There were no toothbrush, loofa or hair dryer. I’m guessing they are available on request. Showers didn't drain well, leaving the bathroom soaked every time. Room service was good. Quick to bring us what we asked for – no complaints! Overall hotel is new and clean with a modern aesthetic. Loved the cozy little café. It offered decent menu options, all reasonably priced. Shuttle to the haram ran every 30 minutes and was on time every time we took it.

We are grateful to respected Receptionist lady who has helped our family of 5 with great care and helped facilitating joint room for comfort. 1- Front desk always busy with long queues 2- you cannot reach out to house keeping or any other service but by calling ‘0’ which is the front desk and they never pick up 3- shuttle bus to Al haram are small and always crowded, you can see the fights of people to get into the shuttle bus, 4- they show shuttle bus time table but never stick to it. 5- house keeping just giving you 2 small bottles of water and tiding the beds and change towels, they don’t clear the rooms or even change tea cups. 6- limited choices for the breakfast.

There was nothing good from the moment of check in the staff was very very rude and when we call the front desk to ask for anything they either don’t pickup or pickup and say they’ll get you what you want and they never do and if they did you better have plenty of patience, ill understand more if it was really busy but it wasn’t, definitely not going there again.

La connexion internet ne marche pas parfois. Le petit déjeuner était bon mais le dîner ne l’était pas. La variété des plats est à revoir (comparativement à l’année dernière), elle a beaucoup baissé. L’enregistrement est très lent car une seule personne pour beaucoup de clients. L’horaire du service de navette qui était de chaque 30 mn pour la mosquée a légèrement changé. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est de bonne qualité et le staff est super sympa. En bref je trouve que l’hôtel dans son ensemble s’est un peu dégradé mais je recommande.

No one ever answered the phone. Not reception, room service etc. Also the location isn’t great. It’s in the middle of nowhere and there’s nothing to eat around. Plus the bus drops you off at Marwa, which is the side of the masjid that has no stores either. So the only convenient place to eat is the hotel, which becomes prohibitively expensive. Book a hotel on the north side of the masjid. More worth the money.

i liked the hotel and the room but there were some rooms around us that were very loud. I liked how there were busses available to and from the haram but they drop you off at 15-30 minute walking distance. that was the one thing that i did not like becuase we would come back very tired. There were lots of construction around the hotel it wasn’t that noisy inside the room but when going outside it’s very noisy.

Hôtel récent avec plusieurs bâtiments, des finitions à terminer. Le bâtiment où se trouvait ma chambre ne disposait pas de personnel d’accueil. Manque de communication sur la disposition de l’hôtel par exemple j’ai été obligé de demander un accès pour la salle de sport étant donné qu’on ne peut pas accéder sans une carte différente de celui de la chambre qui m’a été remis à mon arrivée. Un bus de l’hôtel vers le Haram tous les 1 heures à disposition des clients de l’hôtel. Le haram se trouve à environ une dizaine de minutes de l’hôtel. Le retour du haram je prenais que des transports autres que le bus( Uber ou bolt et des taxis) au vu des contraintes de départ de bus et l’éloignement à pied du haram vers le bus plus de 10 mn et encore faut il trouver le bon endroit. Pour le transport il faut compter 30 riyals en Uber ou bolt et en taxis il fait compter 40 à 50 riyals( il faut toujours négocier). À l’avenir je prendrai un hôtel plus près du haram.

Nobody at the reception knew about the silver member discount on food and beverages. The restaurant and reception said they didn’t know about it. It would be helpful if we could get a code or something which the staff would know about it.

The property was new and very clean and the room was quite comfortable. The support staff (the cleaners, restaurant staff and porters were also very nice professional and helpful). But I did not really enjoy the food in the restaurant (buffet) they claim to have a variety of options, but it was mainly Asian and middle eastern. Also I had an unpleasant experience at breakfast one time. I was made to pay for my breakfast, when my booking came with breakfast already paid for. I complained about this and it was confirmed that I was not supposed to pay for breakfast, but still nothing was done about it, and I was not issued a refund. That was very wrong. In all, the hotel was very nice and comfortable

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. I must admit, it was a lot further away from Masjid Haram then I originally thought. The shuttle service, which runs every 30-mins from the Hotel, was great. HOWEVER, where the bus drops you, it is a very long walk to Masjid Haram. My wife and kids got really tired of walking. I'm comparing this to the other hotel I staying in Makkah (Swissotel Makkah) which was 2 mins away from Masjid Haram. Breakfast was ok too, but for some reason, it felt really cold in the dinning area due to the Air-conditioner being set of extremely cold. it made eating uncomfortable. Also, the chef at the omelet station was very slow. There was only one chef and the line-up was very long. Some items which was near finished were not replaced or refilled quickly enough. I had to ask the staff and remind them that some items were running short. The rooms were great and clean. No Issues with the rooms. Just remember, if you get a room with views to the back side of the hotel, it is pretty boring, nothing to see other then construction and a few mountains. There was also one issue with the shuttle service. Once we boarded the bus at Masjid Haram, we remain sitting on the bus for almost 1 hour because they has issues with finding a bus driver. My kids needed to use the washroom but remained on the bus hoping it would leave soon. It finally left1 hour later and you could see other passengers were also left disappointed in the service.

Stay was excellent until the last day when we were checking out. We had booked and paid for Full Board but went for lunch only to be told there isn’t any. After telling them we are Full Board agreed to let us order from room service menu without extra charge. We were checking out in 50min and had to catch a train shortly after. We were told the order will take 25min so went to finish our packing and come back down. We returned 30min later and were told food is still being prepared. We informed them we have to check out and catch a train. 50min later we were still waiting for food and had chased it up with them multiple times only to be told various things about staff checking on it, “it’s coming now” etc. They finally brought the food out but we had already told them to pack it instead as we do not have time to sit and eat anymore. They said it will be packed in 2min. The manager Mr Syed also came to confirm this with us. 5min later we had to chase up again to be told they are bringing it. 10 min later we were still waiting for the already cooked food just to be packed up! We had to leave without any food as we would have missed our train had we waited any longer. Unfortunately this final experience ruined the whole stay for us.

The room was great, service was a bit slow at the counters/reception, it was however peak season, so this is probably understandable. The breakfast was however really poor quality and seemed like the area was not big enough to accommodate the high volume of guests, neither was the food.

We stayed here for three days, and it was wonderful experience staying here. The included breakfast was very delicious and always fresh. Service was great, free bus transportation to haram was available 24 hours .

La connexion internet ne marche pas parfois. Le petit déjeuner était bon mais le dîner ne l’était pas. La variété des plats est à revoir (comparativement à l’année dernière), elle a beaucoup baissé. L’enregistrement est très lent car une seule personne pour beaucoup de clients. L’horaire du service de navette qui était de chaque 30 mn pour la mosquée a légèrement changé. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est de bonne qualité et le staff est super sympa. En bref je trouve que l’hôtel dans son ensemble s’est un peu dégradé mais je recommande.
