Zenseana Resort & Spa - Patong, Phuket

I förhållande till priset så var det helt ok, helpension med bra mat för 1000 SEK/natt. Blev dock besvikna på tak-området med poolen, det kändes nedgånget och smutsigt precis som resten av Pa Tong. Där hade man enkelt kunnat få det mycket finare. Lobby/restaurang utrymmet kändes helt ok men lite instängt och trist känsla i det lilla luftkonditionerade utrymmet.

The spa wasn’t open when we came which was the only downside. Other than that very close to the strip (10 min walk) but not too close so you can actually sleep at night. The lady who can book you excursions is very good (bear in mind that the companies are sometimes late due to traffic). All staff are accommodating and friendly. Special shoutout to security he always has a smile on his face and helped us cross very busy roads. An amazing man !

We arrived to check in around 1:30…under estimating how long it would take with traffic so we expected to wait around for about 30 mins (check in was 2pm). At 2pm they told us it would be another 10-15 mins so we stuck around ( not wanting to rifle through our luggage for swim suits etc to go to the pool or beach) We weren’t able to check in until 3:30. Rooms were clean and modern but the ac makes the room smell really musty. It’s very noticeable when you leave and then come back. Rooms faced the street so there was traffic noise constantly. Lots of loud bikes and music from the tuk tuk’s. The roof top pool was in need of updating. Coldest pool in all of the places we stayed in Phuket. Lounge chairs were in disrepair and very uncomfortable. If there were no pool towels you had to go all the way down to the lobby to get one. Breakfast buffet was sub par compared to the other places we stayed.

Fabulous hotel in great location, with 25m+ swimming pool on the roof. The food is excellent and staff very helpful. Would defo recommend, and i hope to stay again if i make it back to patong for new year celebrations. Gym also good and less than 5 mins walk to nicer end of the white sand beach.

Just the reception seems to be understaff - during our check in (Friday around 1pm) there is only one staff at the reception who has to handle the check in, another guest complaining on their room and the calls from guests room. I have been waiting for 30 mins for the whole process (the staff is very polite and keep saying sorry during the process as our check in keep being interrupted) Similiar situation happened during our check out. Other than that, everything is very nice. The gym is very well-equipped. Close to the beach

Very attractive hotel. A bit out on the edge being on the north side of the town... although that means you may not get gouged on food / drinks like in the centre of town. The rooftop bar / pool offers a fantastic sunser view. Plus the pool is a good size and swimable.

Decent, clean hotel. Half the equipment in the gym was broken. Better to have less cheap equipment and a few good pieces that function. Breakfast was good.

Looks lovely but numerous issues with this hotel. The Spa was closed the whole time we were there, as was the rooftop bar and restaurant which look great on the website. No explanation given or apology. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and when I complained the staff said all rooms were like this and they would give extra towels to mop up the water! The hotel is spotless and the pool area is really nice but only about 12 loungers at it!

The hotel was really clean. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, I thought the room would be bigger as per the pictures. The common area was actually really small with just 2 stools, so don’t go expecting a communal space with your family/ friends when booking it. We stayed for 5 nights, toiletries were only topped up on the 3rd day. Some days the room’s floor wasn’t really swept well. We saw remnants of their broom in our room. Hair on the bathroom floor also wasn’t cleared throughout our stay, so beats me what housekeeping was doing with our room.

A poor experience. Dirty room and pool area, long check-in times, cocktails with no alcohol and broken WiFi. Staff were confused and appeared under trained at the best of times

The hotel is good, but they need to pay some more attention to the cleanliness in the bathrooms, however is a good option.

Unterkunft war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet, einzig was uns bisschen gestört war , sehr schmutzige Teppiche in Schlafzimmer, und die Gardinen Vorhangs waren auch sehr schmutzig .

Property and my hotel room immaculate, staff so friendly, Shops and bars soon as you got outside, and the beach was only a 5 minute walk away, the hotel is in a very busy area, but this was fine by me,

The room is very quiet although the hotel is on a main road. Good size of room and clean. Matress is very comfortable. People who were staying there were also decent.

Overall was enjoyable stay, however, the TV didn't work for half the stay and asked multiple times for it to be fixed but never happened.

A very cramped hotel, not worth the money and doesn’t deserve the star rating

It was a good enough hotel. Close to the beach and close to the nightlife nearby. Not much English spoken by staff so that was a challenge but not a deal breaker. Room was small with an awkward bathroom.

Room is unlike pictures. There is definitely some wear and tear to them. Also felt like the room was very damp and humid with slight musky smell. TV didn't work. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Safe was big enough for 17" laptop. They provide water. Great location though. Five minute walk to the start of Patong Beach. Pool is decent size. Nice rooftop sitting area. Gym was phenomenal with plenty of machines, treadmills, bikes, squat rack. All in good condition.

The staff at the Zenseana are tremendous. I have to say the best of any hotel Ihave stayed. The hotel is modern and clean, in a great location. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and Nut and Nook always a delight to see. The room we had was tired and in need of an upgrade, facing the central courtyard above the breakfast room. Due to this there was some disturbance from circa 6am. This noise transfer was nothing compared to the disturbance we had from the hallway and connecting room. People walking past after coming in at 2/3am talking loudly then subsequently making a noise in their rooms woke us every night. Twice i had to go out ànd ask people to be quiet. The sound proofing was terrible, i also felt security should be asking guests to be more respectful however the Thai people are too nice to do this. Patong is party city and this hotel is a great location for this. If you value your sleep maybe not for you.

The hotel is comfortable, but when my family and I were there, we had many problems with the internet and the TV never worked, even though they tried to fix the problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall, I would give the hotel 7.5 out of 10. Pro's - Breakfast was very good although I've stayed in places where they even exceeded this one, price of room, amenities and overall value for money, cleanliness and house-keeping, facilities around the hotel especially for Muslim's like halal dining, décor, excellent gym, shower in room very powerful and luxurious, bathroom facilities like shaving mirror and moisturiser, check-out process including use of showering facilities if you have a late flight as well air-conditioned private waiting rooms. Con's - Wifi was pretty bad, had to re-connect every-time I left the hotel and re-authenticate. It was also slow and reception was bad. Shower area had some mould and the shower gel didn't lather very well so presume it was pretty cheap. Also, the gym had no 2.5kg plates so restricted my training a bit, this is pretty easy to solve so not sure why they didn't have these plates. The biggest issue was around sound insulation and noise - basically it was like having no door and you could hear everything from the hallway. I was on my own but if someone was with their partner, you could imagine the worry about sound leakage if getting upto you know what ;-) Also the walls in the room were thin so could hear into next rooms pretty clearly. The air con leaked on the very first day but was fixed immediately. The girls on reception didn't speak very good English. I would stay here again as I think the value for money is excellent.

Clean and wonderful breakfast buffet. Our first room's wifi and tv didn't work. They had us stay while trying to repair. 2 and a half hours later, we had a new room. The shower leaked all over, poor design. We had to use towels to dry the floor. Requested towels at 9am and checked twice about them. It took 5 hours to get fresh towels. Not many employees spoke English so communication was difficult. Lastly, at checkout they made us wait to get a cash deposit back while they checked our room. Would not recommend this hotel.

Ok værelse, voldsomt meget støj kan ikke anbefales hverken med eller uden børn, langsomt og ubehøvlet receptions personale, virkelig uspiselig og ringe morgenmad.

Good location, hotel is OK but staff is terrible... They were super rude particularly the ones working at the restaurants. Also the cleaning staff leave the room unfinished. I have attached a sample picture of our mugs left at the sink of the bathroom for whatever reason. Iwould not go back just for the staff. We did the full board option. The food was good but prepare to waste 2 hours to get and eat your food each, as they take forever!

Lovely clean hotel with a great rooftop pool and bar. Ideal location as only a 5 minute walk the the beach and 20 minute walk to the infamous Bangla Road. The staff are probably the nicest of any hotel we’ve stayed in over the last 25 years. From reception to concierge, housekeeping to bar / cafe, they are such lovely warm and friendly people.

I chose this property because it was a VIP property. I received no upgrade and had to argue over late checkout. Expedia needs to change their website and remove VIP if it is not available. This is a bait and switch. I’m trying it again in Bangkok. I hope I have a better outcome or may need to look at another app.

For this hotel we had mixed feelings. We were not satisfied with our stay at this hotel from the moment we were checking in, there was another family that was checking in and about 4 to 5 staffs that were dealing with them because they were having issues with the guest. When finally it was our turn to check in the staff took a long time with the process and we tired from the long flight and bus ride from the airport. After we were check in because they were short staffed we were not helped to our room or given a room tour. We got a room that was all the way at the end of the hotel and the shape of the hotel is like a huge C where the elevator was located at one end and our room located at the other end so to get from the elevator to our room we had to walk long hallways and turn 3 corners, it didn't seem much at first but where we came back from full day island trips the walk just takes more out of me. The room we got was really small and there was just room for our luggage and then there's the bed, there was also no view from our room. The only thing we liked about the hotel was how close it was to Bangla road and Patong beach. Also if you stay at this hotel and are booking trips to any islands you should book with Nina that is located at this hotel lobby, she is really patient and helpful when booking our trips and we enjoyed every trip that we booked with her.

Excellent hotel in Patong. It is a 5 minute walk to Patong Beach, and about a 20 minute walk to Bangla Road. Great location to walk everywhere. Hotel was great; very clean, and the staff were great. Highly recommend!

Hotel is in perfect location. Close to beach and close to all the good places to eat. Further away from bangla road to not hear loud noises. Staffs are really friendly and always smiling. Highly recommend to anyone

This property is amazing and beyond expectations. Just know that it's on a very busy street in Patong. Once outside the hotel, it can be loud with traffic. But the hotel itself was fantastic!!

Central location, but between the mosque next door, that calls for prayer at 04.45 am and the “youth-party”-vibe that Patong has, it’s no place for a family. The hotel was clean, but needed maintanence and a seroius upgrade soon. They already started construction in the 4th floor (we stayed on 5th), which would have been nice to be aware of before booking. The noise was ongoing from 10-16.00. We ended up checking out a day prior, just to get away. A good place for the youth to party, a bad place for a baby family.

The hotel was in a busy side street. It was clean and had enough space for our suitcase. It was close to the shops and the beach.

Very polite and helpful staff. Property is quite nice, the breakfast is excellent and the dining restaurant is very good. We did have a discrepancy between the booking of some family details (number of guests in room and number of breakfasts), but this was resolved after talking with the Expedia VIP line and three times with reception staff. Should have been unnecessary. Also had an issue with the coffee makers that was never resolved, and also kept getting too few towels delivered to the room on the daily. Small issue, but again should not be necessary. I would stay again, good value for money from a pleasantly staffed location.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Zenseana. Nice location close to the beach. Good breakfast and rooftop pool. The better part of the beach at this end of Patong beach in my opinion. Friendly staff. Thank you to my friend Dul at the front baggage area for your kind friendliness. i would definitely recommend but i hope you dont like watching tv much. no signal most of the time. I gave up asking why so i just watched online stuff from my ipad. if you like a nothing fancy restaurant and bar on the beach check out no name bar and restaurant perched on the rocks on the beach 10 minutes from the hotel. Good food cheap beer amazing sunsets.

It was a nice hotel. Things are a lot more expensive in Phuket because it is a beach town and they know they can charge tourists a lot more than in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Patong Beach. I also paid for the breakfast buffet, which was worth it.

Great place, the staff and the actually property were very good. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The room was deliciously cold and very refreshing to come back to after a long hot day~ the pool could’ve been open later for those later night swims.
