The Marina Phuket Hotel

Hotel reception staff are fantastic! Breakfast was a solid selection, fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs made however you like, Thai food, pastries, salads and cereals. Firm comfy beds and lovely rooftop pool. The hotel maybe a good walk away from Bangla road but despite there being many families in the hotel there were definitely plenty of loud ppl there to party. Lots of noise from other hotel rooms all night, fire alarm went off at 1am due to someone smoking weed etc. Very busy road out front but usually a member of hotel staff available to assist crossing. It is situated the nicer end of the beach and takes about 10/15mins to walk there. Beach towels available at reception. Some of the local restaurants opposite the nearby firestation were great and very reasonably priced. Overall good value for money but noisy.

I had an amazing stay at The Marina Phuket Hotel – absolutely 10/10! The rooftop pool was unforgettable, with breathtaking sunset views and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean, modern, and super comfortable. I loved the location: close enough to Patong Beach and the night market, but still quiet enough to relax. The staff was kind and always helpful, and the spa and gym were great additions to the experience. Breakfast was tasty, with a nice mix of Thai and international dishes. If you’re visiting Phuket and want a beautiful place to stay with great service and amenities, this hotel is a solid choice. ⸻ Highly recommended – I’d definitely stay here again!

30代女子、繁華街からアクセスが良しで、出来るだけ安く、でもリゾート感も欲しい私たちにはピッタリな宿でした。 兎に角、新しい建物なので水回りも綺麗で小アリも見かけず快適でした。 強いて難点を挙げれば、廊下に通ずる壁のみ薄いので子連れや、廊下の足音に極度に敏感な方はお勧めできないかな。 屋上のプールも清潔で、サンセットも綺麗に見えます。スタッフさんも優しく、快適に過ごせました。 ありがとうございました！

The location was amazing. Easy walking distance to food, entertainment, beach + easy transportation options. Great internet access. Amazing views of Patong Beach and the mountains. The rooftop pool was a major plus. If I had a complaint, the bed could be softer. It was rock hard for me.

There are two issues here, poor maintenance and the lack of action once you speak to reception. To start we were given a room with an odd smell and brown water, we complained and were sent a maintenance worker who did nothing but run the water until it was slightly less brown and then say it was fixed… it was still brown. We then asked to move rooms and were taken to a room that was not yet cleaned with underwear left on the floor and body spray left, we were then taken to another room with the same odd smell and brown water and then we were kindly given an upgrade to the deluxe suite which had not been cleaned properly as the surfaces were sticky. Finally we moved to the room we ended up staying in, I have never moved rooms once before this. Our compensation? An “upgrade” to this room (issues below) and a fruit plate… Now while we ended up staying in the room we asked for the toilet to be unblocked more than 5 times and as I leave today it remains blocked. The reason we had to ask so much was it seems no one responds to the receptions requests so they said someone would be there and they wouldn’t be. We had the same issue with our laundry which hadn’t arrived a day after they said it would. When we called they said “it’ll be at the room in five minutes”, far later my partner had to collect it himself downstairs to the surprise of the reception staff. The room was fine but as past comments have said cleaning often had to be requested and chased up as did water refills.

This hotel looked good when ordering but had many surprises. First we were met with a parking facility underground which was so steep that the rental car scratched on the way in and on the way out every time without being possible to avoid. The cleaning staff did not clean our room despite being called on by reception. The excuse was that we would get our room cleaned the next day and a sorry. We checked out the following day .

The hotel was very clean, the location was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Way too much noice from the main road- balcony door has zero sound proof, nonstop ambulances, motorbikes etc, small balcony which was dirty. wifi was bad on my room worked only in 30cm area. Television was big but all channels were so bad quality that cannot watch.. Killed few cockroach ” small ones” there was pestiside control/ poisoning on one day I did choose this hotel because of rooftop pool and gym, gym had minimal equipment, so that was waste. Good things - staf was nice - roof pool was nice, although some sunbeds were broken Prices went up from 2,5k bht to 7500 bht, definetly not worth of more than 3k

Hôtel parfait ! Très bon accueil, personnel à l’écoute, et super ambiance ! Propreté au rendez-vous également, parking sur place. Je recommande

The bed was so hard and my room was street facing which means I heard a lot of loud music and scooters all night. I opted for the breakfast package with photographer and I got a waiter who took the worst pictures. At that point I just gave up! The pool area and location are the saving grace for this hotel.

The nearby street was very noisy at night, and that the bathroom design causes water to drip everywhere.

Fint rom, veldig god frokost og meget bra svømmebassen-område. Dessverre er det ingen lydisolasjon, så det bråkte veldig og i tillegg var de fleste ansatte veldig hyggelig, men en av de var veldig impåsliten noe som svekket totalintrykket betraktelig.

Chambre très propre avec un très bon petit déjeuner en buffet… Gros inconvénient du au bruit des voitures et moto car il n’y a pas de double vitrage dans les chambres

Didn’t have a bath and the toilet stinks. Internet was bad and I call and complain about it and they said they were gonna send someone to check and no one came. Couldn’t connect to the internet for important work meetings. It was bad

If you are light sleeper bring earplugs as the rooms that are facing the Main Street that does not have any sound insulation, so noise from street kept us up for most of the night. Not sure if it’s our room but the air conditioning turns off around 2am every night. The shower/tub combo has a bad design where water drains out into washroom as tub is elevated so water can’t drain into tub. Although hotel feels enclosed, there’s no ac in hallway and elevator. The highlight is the breakfast buffet and all the staff are very friendly. Also rooftop pool was a plus.

Hard beds with a very potent smell. If you’re sensitive to perfumes this will give you an instant headache. Off a very loud road as well so you can hear a lot of traffic.

Pros: The rooftop pool was lovely, pool towels provided. The restaurant menu has something for everyone and the food is great and reasonably priced. The staff are very nice and friendly. Clean hotel. Cons: The walk to the beach is not 10 minutes more like 20. The first room had a broken balcony door and was facing the main road so all you could hear was the street. The second room had a naked couple already checked in.. The third room had a leaky spray and blocked shower. The forth room was finally okay being up on a higher floor, but the drain in the shower stunk so I recommend leaving the shower door shut after use. Wifi is also terrible in all the lower floors, much better in the top. For some reason they rarely turn the lights on in the hallway, so at night people will try opening your door because you can hardly see the door numbers. The AC has a mind of its own and turns itself up and down and sometimes off. They had no chocolate or vanilla ice cream for basically a whole week. This is not a deal breaker but when someone wants to treat themselves this hotel is not the place to do it.

This is a very average hotel. Decent pool and room size ok but breakfast not great and the staff were not customer service trained. Simple requests were basically ignored eg I asked for a takeaway coffee cup to 5 staff to see if one would use their initiative and walk 10 meters the the coffee shop on site.. no, I had to do it myself. This was one of many very average and dissatisfying customer service experiences. Another one was that I was in the pool relaxing when I was interrupted with a bill for my coffee which was in itself not correct as I was told I needed to order two for cash whilst he meant card but then I still had to pay. You need to work on your customer service. Area not great. I wouldn’t stay again

The staff were fantastic from the time we walked in, they made our stay 10/10. Could not recommend high enough. Thank you for the warm hospitality and genuine smiles and assistance when required. Will definitely stay there again.

The shower leaked water into the bathroom, I was told at check in I can have a 1 hour extension grace period when checking out due to my flight being late, at checkout time, they did not honor that grace period extension. The manager was very rude. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

There was a water leak from air conditioner. As a result night sleep was disturbed. Staff were not emphatic about the situation. We had to request a room change which was actioned in the morning after 9:00 am.staff did not bother about checking if we were happy with the experience or our concerns

This property exceeded my expectations in every way. Friendly front office staff, excellent housekeeping, dining room staff and also roof top staff… Would revisit again with no hesitation

Great location near Patong beach . Walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. Very nice roof top swimming pool to watch sunset.

hotel is located in a great location. food & shops are just steps away. it's near enough to walk to patong beach, jungceylon shopping centre area, bangla road, etc. but it's also far enough away from the loud crowds. breakfast buffet was excellent & had huge variety. items were even being replenished near the end of the buffet time. the rooftop pool is huge, has plenty of chairs & beautiful views of the ocean. the room is also spacious. i think the only downside is the property is aging & it's starting to show in the room.

Awesome stay here! Very clean, very modern. Extremely helpful and kind staff. The pool was incredible and the location is perfect just about a 15 min walk to Bangla road/patong beach so quiet enough but still a convenient walk. We would stay here again and would absolutely recommend

The room is very noisy at night in front. The roof top pool is amazing to see the sunset. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and the shopping mall and big C.

Great 4 star hotel, about 10-15 min walk from beach & central Patong. Nice rooms, nice bed & balcony. Friendly & polite employees working in hotel. Breakfast excellent. Lots of choices. Amazing rooftop pool and bar/restaurant at 9 floor. Beautiful sunset surroundings from rooftop. Great food aswell in rooftop. Highly recommend this hotel. Will return one day🙏🙏

The hotel itself is nice and modern. The hotel pool view is incredible, as is the pool area. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. The service was good and workers were nice. The hotel is located on a VERY BUSY street, therefore, if you book a room with a City View/ocean view, you’re likely to hear all the cars passing by. The breakfast was 6/10 with little to no variety and flavorless food. We either walked 15 -20min to the main streets in Patong or you paid 250-300 TBH per person to ride less than a mile (0.6/0.7) which is ridiculous considering the short distance. I wish the hotel had some sort of transport service included with the overall price to the main streets. Lastly, the hotel’s exercise room could really use an upgrade and a deep cleaning. Overall, the hotel itself is nice, new, and clean which is very important. However, there are some cons a person staying here should consider! PS- we booked a half day trip with the hotel and the mother/son who run it were very kind and we enjoyed our tour.

Fantastic rooftop pool, passionfruit martini's were very good. Mixed results on the food, some was really good some was served cold.
