Hotel is bit up the hill but they have shuttle from the main road. Room was clean. Breakfast had enough variety though few things were to be ‘discovered’. Like cut fruits were kept in the fridge! Egg station was outside the breakfast area. If you are not observant, will miss those. We had top floor ocean view so views were great and rooms pretty silent. Kid’s club and facilities like Table tennis, darts etc left much to be desired. Many needed maintenance, and felt unlike what is normally available in a ‘Resort’. Pool bar wanted 50 baht for water though we were hotel guests!! Interestingly and hotel resupplied as many water bottles as one could ask for in the room. Cool. Staff courteous, folks like Bandar were super cheerful and helpful. One last thing…there are Tuktuk guys just outside the road entrance. Some behave like goons almost willing to fight and hit you…feels like were high on weed, whose smell fills the air all over Phuket.

We stayed of this resort for a few days, we really enjoyed this resort. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The Thai tea you get on arrival is WONDERFUL, so delicious! The resort is beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was a 11/10 such diverse selection, so many things to choose from all delicious. The pools are great, clean, and the ocean views are spectacular! The resort down sit on a heel which can be tiring for some but they offer a shuttle that taken you down and back up running very frequently. Super convenient for when you’re exhausted or in a rush! Overall a lovely stay at this resort.

Very good stay, in particular the morning fitness classes with Beat and his team were excellent and a great start to the day. All of the stay were friendly and a good location. Even though on a steep hill, the hotel shuttle bus was prompt so there was no issues with this. Only draw back is no evening entertainment and the V bar very quiet so had to venture out every evening.

Ruhige Lage, freundliches Personal, schöne Außenanlage. Durch die Hanglage kostenlosen Shuttleservice vom Hotel zur Straße schon erforderlich und sinnvoll bei der Hitze. Auch kostenloser Shuttleservice zum Einkaufszentrum in Patong Mitte sehr parktisch und man spart die Kosten für`s Tuk-Tuk.

Hotel med en perfekt beliggenhed. Den ligger i starten af PATONG Beach, med gå afstand til alt. Nydelig hotel med mange gode faciliteter. Der er 3 forskellige pools med den perfekte udsigt til PATONG Beach. Virkelig sød personale.

Excellent value. Big rooms, with great views from balconies overlooking Patong beach (even in Superior mountain view room). Really good air-con that you can adjust for own comfort and actually works. 3 well-maintained pools all overlook the beach, the resort is clean, friendly and helfpul staff, breakfast is great - lots of choices and fresh - and long happy hours divided over pool bar and 2 restaurants. Located up high and right end of beach to feel away from the hustle and bustle of Patong main area, but close enough to shop and visit restaurants, and beach is right across the road. Tip: kids all-inclusive was excellent value (can add at reception). Only THB450/day/child incl lunch and dinner, and even dessert at both, plus free flow soft drinks/juices. No strict times so made meal planning simple - eg. they could have lunch by the pool at 11.30 or even 15.00. Would definitely go again with family if have the chance.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were amazing, pools 10/10, close enough to main part of Patong but at the same time far from the crazy and a short walk to Patong Beach. The only thing i didnt enjoy was the bathroom in our room, it was very small and wasn’t cleaned regularly (towels were changed yes) just not the actual toilet or basin

Very noisy room due to the main road near by . On our 2nd night we got woken up around 2am by smoke and terrible smell from our air conditioning system . Technician came to try to fix the problem unsuccessfully end we ended up packing everything and moving room at 3am . They did what they could and gave us another room but in the middle of the night , we had to wash hair , clothes , everything as everything picked up the smell from the smoke and odour like burning installations . The hotel has potential but it hasn’t been renovated what looks to be a very long time . Some nice and polite people at the reception desk .

Hotellet ser fint ud på billederne, men i realiteten er det meget slidt, og flere steder decideret faldefærdigt. Vi havde en pool villa, men vandet var meget grumset, fugerne mellem fliserne i poolen helt opløste, så kanterne var skarpe og næsten farlige. Vi havde også en/flere rotter mellem vores værelse og vores venne par der boede ved siden af og vågnede om natten når rotterne løb i væggen eller gnavede løs. Rengøring på værelserne var meget tilfældig, og kom ofte kl 17-18 stykker hvor man var på værelset, og derfor ikke kunne få gjort rent. Beliggenheden er god fordi hoteller ligger højt over larmen fra gaden.

Large room with a great view of the ocean. Wonderful complimentary shuttle service to bottom of the resort and to the new mall ( Jungceylon Mall ). Staff are very professional and courteous. Room is spotless albeit a bit dated. Breakfast can be improved with better quality and variety. Great value for the rate I paid for my ocean view room.

We booked two pool access rooms they were beautiful and so spacious for our family. The hotel has amazing views from every side and very friendly and welcoming staff . The location is a little far from the main spot of Phuket beach. You have to walk down the hill and walk about 15 mins to get to the main centre of the beach. If only they could provide shuttle service to get you to the centre of beach would be more convenient for families.

Absolutely stunning hotel. We had a swim up room which just made the holiday for the children (and us!) Great location on a hill over looking Patong so the view is beautiful and the lobby is quite spectacular. The pools are lovely and clean. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the food was great. So much choice at breakfast, Patong is walking distance too, We hope to return,

Really wanted to like this property. Some of the staff were amazing (the bell desk guys - beaming smiles, friendly, quick to help and the cleaning staff). Some were less friendly (front desk check in and check out and the pool towel staff were less helpful and less interested in being friendly). The room has a nice view and the location is amazing; but the fit and finish is SUPER dated. We had aching backs EVERY DAY from saggy old mattresses. The tub / shower combo leaked everywhere so the bathroom floor was always wet. The AC was either blasting cold or didn't work (we like the temp between 24º and 26º C and it was 19º or off). The parking is in a dungeon of a garage and above the garage is a tennis court that they want to charge ฿500/hour to use for 2 people but has potholes and torn nets so we cancelled our reservation when we saw the condition of the courts. The property is in an amazing location and the price was decent; but we would have expected more from a Novotel property. Also... for some reason the front desk person would not add my Novotel points account because I booked through Expedia. My sense is was that she was just being lazy...

Excellent value. Big rooms, with great views from balconies overlooking Patong beach (even in Superior mountain view room). Really good air-con that you can adjust for own comfort and actually works. 3 well-maintained pools all overlook the beach, the resort is clean, friendly and helfpul staff, breakfast is great - lots of choices and fresh - and long happy hours divided over pool bar and 2 restaurants. Located up high and right end of beach to feel away from the hustle and bustle of Patong main area, but close enough to shop and visit restaurants, and beach is right across the road. Tip: kids all-inclusive was excellent value (can add at reception). Only THB450/day/child incl lunch and dinner, and even dessert at both, plus free flow soft drinks/juices. No strict times so made meal planning simple - eg. they could have lunch by the pool at 11.30 or even 15.00. Would definitely go again with family if have the chance.

Hotellet ligger upp för en backe och de har löst det med att ordna transport upp och ner, vilket fungerar utmärkt. Vi bodde även upp för en backe till vilket fungerade men har man någon funktionsnedsättning kan det bli jobbigt. Hotellrummen var mycket fina och utsikten magisk. Mycket bra frukostbuffé. Nedanför hotellet var en väldigt trafikerad väg som man fick korsa för att ta sig till stranden. Skulle helt klart kunna bo där igen.

Place is dated . With exception of Nancy at reception and a few staff here and there , the majority of staff seem to have a attitude. And the famous Thailand hospitality is not only missing but some were downright rude. As if they are doing you a favor. For the price you can stay at much better place. Location is good .

Novotel's staff is hands down the best resort staff that I have ever encountered! Sak and his team of bell men: Am, Bao, and Choo were a pleasure to engage with each day. The scenery/ landscaping is immaculate around the resort topped with great restaurants near the resort for any occasion! I def will be back!

Absolutely stunning hotel. We had a swim up room which just made the holiday for the children (and us!) Great location on a hill over looking Patong so the view is beautiful and the lobby is quite spectacular. The pools are lovely and clean. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the food was great. So much choice at breakfast, Patong is walking distance too, We hope to return,

Really wanted to like this property. Some of the staff were amazing (the bell desk guys - beaming smiles, friendly, quick to help and the cleaning staff). Some were less friendly (front desk check in and check out and the pool towel staff were less helpful and less interested in being friendly). The room has a nice view and the location is amazing; but the fit and finish is SUPER dated. We had aching backs EVERY DAY from saggy old mattresses. The tub / shower combo leaked everywhere so the bathroom floor was always wet. The AC was either blasting cold or didn't work (we like the temp between 24º and 26º C and it was 19º or off). The parking is in a dungeon of a garage and above the garage is a tennis court that they want to charge ฿500/hour to use for 2 people but has potholes and torn nets so we cancelled our reservation when we saw the condition of the courts. The property is in an amazing location and the price was decent; but we would have expected more from a Novotel property. Also... for some reason the front desk person would not add my Novotel points account because I booked through Expedia. My sense is was that she was just being lazy...

The staff were amazing, we stayed for 9 nights, hotel is a little tired. The first room we were put in was dated and near the road, We requested to be moved and fortunately we were able to move up the hill, great view, no noise. Room was ok, not the best but certainly not the worst. Clean and tidy, pools were nice and all staff made us feel welcome.

Design is nice but building and condition is old. Wooden decking rotted and loose on stairs etc. Kids pool had a nail sticking out of the tiles under water that got me, problem is I told the desk and no one came to fix it the 4 days we were there. Worse part was the service, took over an hr to check in, total lack of customer service from all employees. Breakfast was good and room was nice.

Stayed with my family in a poolside room. The staff were amazing - helpful and friendly. Food was great. The only challenge is that it's not the easiest to leave and explore by foot due to having to cross a busy street and being a bit of a walk from central to south Patong which is where markets etc are. Do make use of the free shuttle to Jungceylon mall as it's close to all the action. Wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Fell completely in love with this hotel! Just the right distance away from the madness in Patong but close enough to everything at the same time. 1 minute walk to patong beach, shops and restaurants. All the staff were lovely and so welcoming. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Large room with a great view of the ocean. Wonderful complimentary shuttle service to bottom of the resort and to the new mall ( Jungceylon Mall ). Staff are very professional and courteous. Room is spotless albeit a bit dated. Breakfast can be improved with better quality and variety. Great value for the rate I paid for my ocean view room.

Please don’t stay here with your family unless on a strict budget - you will be disappointed. It is sold as a 4 star, but in my experience, it wouldn’t be higher than a 2.5 star. The property is incredibly dated (wife described it as “seedy”), the food ordinary, not in a convenient part of Patong for access. It’s saving grace is that the people there are lovely and very accommodating of us wanting to leave our booking early. For a short stop it is fine if you want to be near Patong, but anything longer than 2 days it would be worth looking elsewhere

The resort is very old and looks nothing like pictures on website , as soon as we saw reception we new we made a mistake by booking this resort. very rundown everything from reception area , pools the same needs urgent attention,sun-beds and parasols in very pour condition, so is restaurant , bar and rooms, not gonna go into details but looks like it hasn’t been refurbished since it was built (My guess 20-30 years ago ? ), very limited choice of breakfast. And the money they charge per night way way overpriced .people who gives high scores must be blind or never stayed in decent hotel or resort.Location is good , very close the beach, food markets and restaurants. Our stay at The Novotel was amazing. The staff were super friendly, helpful and went out of their way for customers. The room was immaculate and cleaned daily. Breakfast had plenty of options for both adults and children, it was fresh and impressively presented. We were very happy with our stay and recommend this resort.
