We booked this hotel because it was close to Strong museum of play. Rooms are clean and breakfast was nice, there is waffles, cereal, sausage and eggs. Staff are very friendly. Swimming pool was very small and a bit dirty, wish there were more towels for pool.

We were excited to stay in a new property. Unfortunately, newer does not mean better. The walls and ceiling are so thin you could hear everything, we woke up at the crack of dawn to loud nonstop thumping above us. We were moved down a floor, and our new room had a pile of someone’s clipped (toe?)nails on the floor next to the bed! They vacuumed it up, and we left for the day. We returned in the evening to relax and watch a movie, only to find that our TV was not working and could not be fixed until the next day. Also, the pool was closed down for two days, but even after it was reopened, the water is cloudy and murky. Absolutely not swimmable. This is not the hotel to stay in if you are looking to relax. It is one nuisance after another, and the pool is definitely unusable. We moved to a nearby hotel after which we were thankfully able to recover, sleep, swim, and enjoy the remainder of our trip with family.

Spacious clean rooms. Very friendly efficient staff. Some fixtures (shower head, door security plate, no USB-C outlets) could be updated. Very comfortable beds. Neighboring construction kicks up dust but dust didn't impact hotel interior. Nice firepit for evening relaxing. Clean pool area.

The hotel is either brand new or just looks like it. Very well managed, very clean. The rooms are unusually large; gym indoor pool are very clean and nice. We enjoyed the breakfast - also not usual hotel breakfast. the pet-friendly stuff gave our lab a lot of threats, he was super happy. Overall we were really impressed!

The girl who checked us in and was there almost the entire of our stay was awesome. She was super friendly and always offered help when needed. The only thing that was unappealing was the lack of dining space for breakfast. While the couches are comfortable you would be better off removing them and providing more space. We were there for a hockey tournament and there a cheerleading competition so the hotel was packed and just getting to the food wasn't fun. Pool also a little small for the amount of people who were there but we picked times that worked well for us so there weren't too many people. We also had an issue with young boys being in the pool who were out of control and should not have been in the pool and the girl who checked us in took care of in with no issue. She is really a great asset to your business.

Hotel appeared to be fairly new. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, cleanliness was a problem. The carpet was dirty. There was also a mushroom/fungus growing outside of the shower. I reported this when I checked out. I'm not sure if I will ever be in Rochester again, but if so, I will stay somewhere else.

The front office staff was amazing and friendly. We had an issue of our room never being serviced during our stay. We arrived on Thursday evening and checked out Monday morning and in that time we were told by 3 different people we would be getting service only to not receive it. I even talked to housekeeping at one point and she assured me she would be back down to service the room once she finished the room upstairs, which didn't happen. I watched the work order be put in the computer at the front desk on Saturday evening and we came home to a note on our door Sunday evening that our room wasn't going to be serviced. Very disappointed for the money we paid. I am just glad the front desk staff was so pleasant and friendly to make up for the disappointing room service. They greeted us with a smile and good morning each time we passed by. They tried their best to get our room serviced and did ask if there was anything we needed in the room.

Our first time and will never come back. I booked this as it is under Hilton so I was expecting a good stay. We saw a cockroach in one of the room I booked. Kids were so scared. Its grossed! I told customer service and they just said “ sorry for that! i know its gross I am going to report that”. Did not move us nor did anything. I have a video on my phone and will upload that to groups in facebook/ Instagram so people will be aware of this hotel.

I will never stay on first floor close to entrance and exit on the sides. It was so loud someone in and out the doors and the family beside us there were like 10 in a room very loud up half the night so definitely not a refreshing trip this time hopefully better next time or a different hotel

The pool was clean which was very important to us. The rest of the hotel was well maintained and in good order. Always smelled clean and fresh. The staff did not let us know anything when we checked in. We had to figure out the hotel on our own and go searching for hours on certain amenities. The room was clean, the curtain was broken so the light came in while we were trying to sleep. The pillows were way too soft, we woke up a little sore from the lack of support

We were disappointed with the quality of the room since we booked this hotel based on the reviews. The first room we were assigned had a broken deadbolt and when we asked for a different room, they said the door still locked electronically and we should be fine with it. Our carpet had big, unsightly stains on it and the washroom had a strange smell. Even though it appeared clean, the smell proved it wasn't. The walls and floors were paper thin and we could hear all of our neighbours and their kids running around and throwing things. If you're looking for a quiet hotel, this is not it! The positives were the spaciousness of the room, the extra towels and the choice of foods at breakfast.

The most uncomfortable hotel bed we have slept on in years. Same with the pillows- you lay your head down on them and they sink down into nothing. If you’re going to stay here I suggest bringing your own pillows. It’s been 2 days since checkout and both mine and my fiancés backs still hurt. Room was very clean and hotel staff was amazing.

Good clean hotel with no noise issues. Far from busy traffic but only 10 mins to most restaurants in the area including a mall. The only minus would be the view from our room. We overlooked a heap of garbage from the neighboring stores. Overall very nice hotel if you don’t care what’s outside your windows.

Property was overall clean. We had a couple issues but both were resolved by the staff promptly issue with freezer door and TV. The hotels website shows a walking path which appears to be close to the property. This is not the case. The path is actually within 15minutes walking distance away from the hotel with nice views over the ponds that center the businesses that surround the area paths are available around the ponds for theoat part but not back to the hotel, where you will need to be careful on the side of the road

Unfortunately, we had a medical emergency for a terminal patient in our family and could not make the trip. Travelocity contacted the hotel to see about a refund or partial refund for us but the hotel said, “sorry, no refund.” We usually travel to Rochester 12 times a year & stay at the Marriot. Unfortunately, the Marriot was sold out so we chose Home2 thru Travelocity. Big mistake! I will never reserve there again! Their customer empathy and service is greatly lacking!

The hotel was short staffed when we checked in and we had to wait 30 minutes. But that staff was very apologetic and offered us snacks and drinks while we waited. We would definitely stay at the hotel again. Rooms were very clean and the kids loved the pool.

What a horrible experience. We started out great by getting an early check in. Apparently this messed up our check in. At 1:45AM I was awoken by my cell phone ringing. I didn't answer but saw it was the front desk. I went down to find out what they wanted and the woman there said she was calling me to find out if I was going to check in. I had checked in more than twelve hours before. She said she had a post it that said I hadn't checked in yet then started getting rude with me that I would question her post it. She never checked the computer to see if I had checked in, put a credit card on file or charged some snacks to the room at 9:00PM. She got rude with me and was very short tempered that I was aggravated about being woken up at 2:00AM. I was up for more than an hour in frustration. Horrible customer service.

I can't recall the name of the attendant who was working the evening of our stay but she was absolutely terrific! She was funny and had a great personality. Everyone who worked there did actually, but the front desk attendant was my favorite!

I never write reviews but just wanted to shout out how amazing your staff is. Anytime we have stayed here Cheyenne is always the one to greet us with a smile and by name. Any requests we have she honors and truly wants to make sure her guests have a great stay. A fuse blew in our room lastnight and she came right up to fix the issue. We love Hilton and it’s our preferred hotel, with a few more in the area we always choose Home2 Greece.

The front office staff was amazing and friendly. We had an issue of our room never being serviced during our stay. We arrived on Thursday evening and checked out Monday morning and in that time we were told by 3 different people we would be getting service only to not receive it. I even talked to housekeeping at one point and she assured me she would be back down to service the room once she finished the room upstairs, which didn't happen. I watched the work order be put in the computer at the front desk on Saturday evening and we came home to a note on our door Sunday evening that our room wasn't going to be serviced. Very disappointed for the money we paid. I am just glad the front desk staff was so pleasant and friendly to make up for the disappointing room service. This property is in the middle of an industrial area that is in transition. The property itself is nice, but there’s nothing around, not any good view, and again it is surrounded by construction and highways. Just don’t expect to be impressed by the immediate area. The hotel itself feels brand new and inside is really nice. The staff at the front desk was great. The breakfast was better than most hotel breakfast I’ve had. The only thing I wish is they were better with sustainability. There are real mugs and real plates and real silverware in the rooms, so I’m not sure why they can’t use real mugs downstairs and real silverware and real plates downstairs. They are obviously doing dishes, so pitch the plastic and give people who wanna sit a mug of coffee that is not gonna be thrown in a landfill a chance. Hilton needs to do better than this In terms of sustainability. The room itself was lovely. Very clean and very well designed.

I chose this hotel solely for its location ( convenient for my travel plans) it was clean, quiet and well maintained. The front of house staff were lovely. There are no local eating establishments so you will need to drive to find somewhere to eat. If you have pets there is a wonderful walking trail down the road and the Erie Canal pathway is a short drive or walk away..

Good clean hotel with no noise issues. Far from busy traffic but only 10 mins to most restaurants in the area including a mall. The only minus would be the view from our room. We overlooked a heap of garbage from the neighboring stores. Overall very nice hotel if you don’t care what’s outside your windows.

The breakfast included with our room fee was delicious, variety of items offered. Only minor complaint when towels replenished didn’t get wash cloths and a new bar of hand soap. Also as the breakfast area got busier on our last day got very messy and no one available to keep up with the cleaning. I slipped on spilled coffee and notified the guest clerk. She had someone place a yellow marker in the area. Not about the hotel but one night ordered from Papa John’s through Grub Hub. Supposed to get a loaded pizza included in the toppings should have gotten black olives, instead got one piece of Pineapple and when we picked up a slice everything slid off the crust. Phone and complained manager said he would refund me and apologized. I will have to check, but Olive Garden in the area is amazing! Overall a great stay and we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! This place and our room was soooo clean! The pool was small but very nice, the workout room was actually exceptionally nice with newer equipment, and also very clean. Let me tell you- this breakfast that they put on was probably the best we have ever had (and we are very well-travelled and well-hoteled). I am impressed and hope to stay here again. They are really doing an excellent job 💛

This was my family's 3rd time staying at this Hotel. It has become are go too while in Rochester. Its clean and well maintained. The staff is great. -The staff here were very welcoming and kind, check in and out was easy and quick. -The room was clean and comfortable. (we received a note that due to unforseen circumstances we were unable to get the room cleaned the first night, which honestly was no big deal, nice to be notified and provided info on what we can do if we need anything during that time) -I gave 4 stars on cleanliness due to the fact some of the dishes/cutlery and the fridge were a bit dirty. this isn't a deal breaker for us as they are generous enough to provide dish soap and a dishwasher tab for the dishes. -Breakfast was good, variety of options to choose from, the only thing that would have made this better is if the layout was a bit bigger - it can def. get crowded quickly. lots of seating including outside which was awesome! -Parking was easy and convenient. -Nice location, some construction across the way but it didn't bother us at all. This Home2Suites is clean, spacious, modern, and comes with a substantial breakfast - hot eggs, yogurt, make-your-own-waffles, juice, fruit, toast. It's near the highway, but not so close that you hear traffic. The rooms are spacious and truly have everything if you need an extended stay - full fridge, microwave, dishes, cutlery, glasses -- or if you're saying a few nights like my family did. Didn't use the pool, but it's open late. Also the hotel is near enough to a bunch of chain restaurants.
