Everything is good except no swimming pool

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff and perfectly convenient location. They only issue is the elevator, which can become a very long wait during busy hrs. The stairs are not usable because they are locked from entering into any floor. You can exit to the stairs but it'll only let out at the ground floor. I often had to meet people in the lobby but had to wait for the elevator each time to go 1 flight from my 5th floor room. I understand safety concerns of the guest but I think at least unlock the hotel general floor level...

The location of the hotel is great, very walkable and convenient and safe. The room was spacious and clean. I did get stuck in the stairwell because I wanted to use the stairs to go down one floor. And all the doors to each floor was locked. I would recommend the hotel to put a sign to say to not use the stairs and that each floor is not accessible..

Loved the location. 2 min walk from Wat Mangkon (Blue Line) Station. 2 min walk to Yaorawat Road. Hotel is new and clean, daily cleaning of room, receptionist is friendly. Breakfast is too simple, just some basic european bread and egg... have tried it before the last time i came here. Better options out there.

Very clean and the staff were kind and efficient. I was also very pleased with how tidy and well stocked with towels and water, they kept the gym.

The rooms were clean and modern and the hotel was in an excellent location - a block or so from Chinatown food market and a couple of minutes from the metro station. The gym was good size and I found all the staff were helpful and friendly .

We are so glad a friend recommended this place. Amazing street food and markets that pop up all around you. Walkable for so many sites and things to do and the train stop is right by the hotel. Clean, quiet, so comfy. We didn’t eat there. It looked like people enjoyed it, but with so many markets and vendors outside your front door we wanted to experience all of that. The gym was clean and a great way to start our day although they need a fan in there. Highly recommend this hotel!! They also stored our luggage and had a great place for us to shower since we landed early in the morning and couldn’t check in. We loved that too.

We stayed on the 7th. floor corner courtyard room for 3 days. The hallway and the room smell strongly mold fungus. The carpets were dirty and smell urine. Definitely need cleaning or remolding

Hotel très bien placé. Chambre très propre. Literie confortable. Petit déjeuner excellent avec de bons produits. En revanche, deux bémols: Nous avons demandé à l'hotel des conseils pour se rendre à l'aéroport. Ils nous ont répondu que cela prendrait maximum 40,minutes à 16h et qu'il n'était pas nécessaire de réserver à l'avance le taxi et de ne le faire appeler que 10 minutes avant. Or, il nous a fallu 25 minutes d'attente pour le taxi et 1h30 pour aller à l'aéroport, heureusement que nous avions pris de la marge, nous aurions raté notre avion sinon! Ce n'est pas sérieux de la part du personnel de l'hotel de ne pas savoir conseiller correctement leurs clients à ce sujet... Par ailleurs, personnel très agréable. 2ème bémol, il y avait une grosse tache de sang sur la couette, probablement passée inaperçue, ça arrive, mais pour un hôtel de bon standing, c'est quand même décevant...

新しい綺麗なホテルで快適な滞在だった。 いい意味で干渉の少ない、気楽でカジュアルなホテルで良かった。一つだけ残念だったのが毎日のハウスキーピングで、私物には一切触れないことは非常に良かったが、ゴミ箱のゴミを数日回収しなかったり床の髪の毛が数日そのままだったことはやはり気になり注文した。チップは毎日回収されてたのでちゃんとお願いをしたら改善してくれた。ベッドメイキングと全タオルの交換は毎日ちゃんと出来ていた。　疲れて夜寝るだけだったし場所が最高に良かったのでまた利用したいと思う。

Nice clean and tidy room, staff were all very nice and restaurant was also very good. Location is good, lots of good street food in Chinatown, 7/11 below the building and walking distance to temples etc. we did find ourselves having to travel to Sukhumvit a lot though which took around 30 minutes. Our only real complaint is that the room is too basic, there is nowhere to put clothes or store bags so you end up with it just strewn across the floor and that the bathroom door didn’t really close.

Good location great beds. Noise transfer from adjoining room was a bit much at times. Restaurant and lounge were nice

Room was spacious but not much storage for clothing. Great hot water and water pressure in nice large shower. Only tried restaurant for Happy Hour - food was average. All staff were lovely and very helpful!! Location was good!

It would make the room perfect for multiple days’ stay if there was a luggage rack or any drawers.

Hotel Review: ASAI Bangkok Chinatown I recently stayed at ASAI Hotel Bangkok and had a mostly positive experience with a few minor drawbacks. Customer Service I only interacted with the staff during check-in and breakfast. There were no issues—efficient and straightforward service. I didn’t not like the fact asking you to sign a checkin form and authorising to disclose your information for marketing etc… by ticking the boxes. That would be a major problem If someone doesn’t know English. Room & Comfort I stayed on Level 7, facing other internal rooms, which made the room quiet and dark—good for sleep but lacking natural light. The bed was standard with average bedding, nothing exceptional. No toiletries were provided, which was a bit inconvenient. The bathroom was a highlight—brand new, spacious, and comfortable. However, the toilet was not properly cleaned, which was disappointing. The workstation was a good size, making it easy to get some work done. Air conditioning worked well, but the controls were faulty at times. WiFi & Amenities The WiFi was average in speed but reliable, which was sufficient for basic use. Location The hotel is located next to Chinatown, close to a small shopping mall and a train station. It’s not a luxurious or high-end area, but it’s convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast The breakfast was good enough—nothing extravagant, but it did the job. Final Thoughts Overall, ASAI Hotel Bangkok offers a quiet, comfortable stay

We love that it’s in the heart of Chinatown but away from the busiest street! The shower, water does leak a bit on the floor, making it somewhat messy, but other than that, we would stay here again!

The property was conveniently located a very short distance from a metro station. My room was comfortable and quiet with a decent sized bathroom. My only complaint was that on the last night, the air conditioner didn't seem to work and I wasn't able to get any sleep at all.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and eager to provide a good experience for all!

The aircon on my floor wasn’t working. The General Manager called and transferred me to a 5 star sister hotel nearby. Exceptional and proactive service.

호텔의 안뜰은 무척 인상적이였습니다. 조식먹을때 유리천장에서 들어오는 햇빛이 좋았습니다. 저희는 총 6박을 숙박했고, 조식메뉴는 매일 조금씩 바뀌었습니다. 그렇지만, 룸 클리닝 서비스의 질이 매우 나쁘다고 생각합니다. 그들은 룸 클리닝을 매우 자주 생략하고 시간도 유동적입니다. 우리는 오후 5시까지 기다렸지만 그들은 오지 않았습니딘. 청소를 전혀하지 않는 것이 ASAI가 생각하는 친환경 방식인지 모르겠습니다. 게다가 마지막날 새벽 4시에 건물 전체의 전기가 나가는 일이 있었습니다. 1시간 동안 그들은 어떠한 안내방송도 하지 않았고, 프론트는 전화를 받지 않았습니다. 엘리베이터는 물론이고, 룸의 에어콘 또한 작동되지 않았습니다. 너무나 끔찍한 경험이었습니다.

The hotel was fine, in a convenient location. But the staff were not welcoming - and it felt like a rather sterile environment. The rooms were well-maintained, and very clean.

Great experience from check-in to check-out! Loved the vibe of the room, very clean and fully stocked. Housekeeping and front desk staff were all wonderful. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Not sure what a VIP supposed to feel like. I definitely do not feel like one at this place.

We were really pleased with our stay. After traveling for 24 hours due to flight delays, the ASAI was such a wonderful place to land and recover. What we loved: The staff was efficient-particularly appreciated when you're checking in at 2am-; the rooms are sparse (in the best of ways), tasteful and clean; the beds are AMAZING and the room has blackout curtains thanks to which we slept like babies; It was quiet despite the fact that you are right in the heart of Chinatown; some of Bangkok's best street food is only minutes away, and it's a great base from which to explore as it is a 2-minute walk from a subway station. What we might have wished for: We booked our room through a third-party provider and didn't know the hotel's website offers really helpful tips on places to eat and visit, as well as an interactive map. Bangkok can be pretty overwhelming for first-timers so it would've helped to be informed of that resource when we checked in (I found it the day before our depature on a fluke) My partner and I only stayed for 3 nights before heading south but we liked it so much we'll probably be booking there again for our last nights in Thailand before flying home! Highly recommend this hotel!

Staff friendly and accommodative. Stayed for 5nigjts, on the 2night when we were about to sleep we realize there was cigarettes’ smell in the room, it may came in from the aircon ducts, we informed the reception and without hesitation the lady in charge (Fiona) offered us to change to new room. Shout out to Fiona. I left my iPhone charger in the room after check out. Can the hotel reach out to me please. Thank you.

The main benefit is the location. There are many many food options in the area, especially in the evenings. Also very close to an MRT station. In terms of negative, the check-in process was needlessly laborious. The front desk doesn’t seem very clued up some of the time. On check-out, when we asked about the cab we booked through them the night before, we were met with blank stares. The worst part of the hotel would have to be the unpleasant smell that wafts along the corridor, which is particularly pungent when it is hot, which in Bangkok, is a lot of the time.

Great hotel in the heart of Chinatown. The staff is very nice and it was very quiet despite its busy location. Love that it is connected to a mall that has everything you could need as a traveler including nail salons, massage, and a 24hr 7/11.

Location is excellent!! Just 2 blocks from the subway that would take you to many landmark temples. 100% walkable to many shopping areas and 5 mins walk to Yaowarat where tons of nightly street food options open at 6pm. Staff is very efficient, helpful, and professional. Highly recommended especially for travelers who like to walk and explore. The area is lively but the rooms very quiet. We would definitely stay again. Love the convenient location!!

Great central location in China Town.

I would recommend this hotel, modern, located in the middle of Chinatown. Location is very convenient, next to a small mall with everything you may need. Just a block or so from the subway station and easy walk to the night markets. The area is bustling with people, vendors, markets and cars but the hotel is quiet.

The hotel was right in the middle of Chinatown, with a shopping mall underneath it, with great access to subway system, and walking distance to lots of restaurants.

The first TWO rooms they gave us reeked of cigarette smoke. The third room was better, but on a lower floor. The room was nice enough, and comfortable. Staff was also very nice. The location is perfect for being in Chinatown, the neighborhood is great! Breakfast was so-so, coffee was horrible. No laundry service, we had to drop it off to some place, which delivered to the hotel later. (Really not inconvenient.)

However the breakfast was disappointing with almost the same breakfast for the 5 days I stayed. Hardly any variation at all. They need to relook this. Steamed buns for 5 days straight.

Everything here was great, modern and very stylish hotel. Very nice staff and great location. The breakfast was nice and so was the meal we had at the restaurant. I would absolutely stay here again.
