للأسف أسوء فندق من حيث التأخر بأمور الدخول والخروج. انتظرنا عربية العفش اكثر من ٤٠ دقيقة، السيارة تم مخالفتها بسبب التاخر بالنزول، تعامل خدمات الغرف كان سيء باعتقادهم انه ضغط العمل بسبب قلة الموظفين جداً نسبة لعدد الغرف. تعامل الفندق كان سيء و غير مهني اطلاقاً. نجمتين كثيرة على الفندق. مواقف السيارات تبعد ١٢ كيلو ويجب الاتصال قبل طلب السيارة بساعتين لاحضارها والسعر ٢٠٠ ريال لليوم. ادارة الفندق واضح جداً انها تفتقر الى ابسط ابجديات الفندقة. تجربة سيئة لا انصح بها نهائياً

Good hotel. Perfect location. Staff from reception to house cleaning were top notch. Room for improvements: - Breakfast and dinner buffet could have been better with more - some issues with elevators taking time to come. But that was something minor. Overall: We loved our overall stay. Rooms were renovated and spacious and with much storage capacity. Fresh water provided daily. Iron provided. Would definitely come back and stay again for our next umrah. InshAllah.

I have booked a king-size bed suite for the family. I’ll cover in this review the location, the check-in process, the room and the facilities. The hotel is located inside the clock tower among many five stars hotel it’s right next to the holy mosque and technically the distance mentioned in the property is the steps you were gonna take inside the clock tower until you leave it and step into the holy mosque outside area The clock tower has so many stores over 600 the third and fourth floor are food courts. You can find any food you want the second floor has daycare they charge 69 Saudi riyal per hour the food court price are reasonable but if you want something cheaper little bit, you can just go to the software Tower, which is right next to Clocktower where you can find cheaper food and the cheaper gifts. The clock tower has brands and more expensive items, though in the fourth floor there is a huge hypermarket that has everything you want from food to gift. I didn’t try the parking, but the hotel access is very difficult. The police are limiting taxis to go into the tunnel. I found it hard to book right chair like Careem or Uber. They don’t pick up from the Clocktower something to keep in mind they would drop you off if you’re coming from outside, but the app will not allow you to book a trip while you are staying in the hotel. The check in process was very quick. I appreciate the efficiency. Also we borrowed a wheelchair to Omar. They gave it to us for free

Too noisy, too cold, too crowded. Our room was bitter cold and there was no way to turn off the AC. Very disappointed. I even asked the staff and were not able to fix it. Toilet bidet was leaking constantly. Breakfast was less then average. Elevators were not all working. Clock tower is not what the hype is all about.

I liked the fact that this was very close to the Haram BUT if you're coming from the train station then the bus is a very uphill 30-40min walk which is exhausting especially if you plan on doing Umrah straight after (like us). But I don't think there's any route available for a taxi either. We only had small bags so I can imagine this would be difficult for the elderly and those with big luggage. Location wise though once your in you have everything there in terms of dining and shops. The hotel lobby itself has ice cream and cake stalls too! The lift system can be a bit confusing though since there are so many lifts to take to even get in! We requested a part haram view and well all you could see from our room was construction...

Advertised a 2 people room for 4 people for a very high price. Showers are so tiny that you can't even lift your arm. The rooms don't have a microwave as the hotel only heats up that food for you which you buy from hotel. We bought food from outside, stored the left over in the fridge. Upon asking the hotel staff, they said they can arrange heating if the food was bought from movenpick ( what a joke). We had to chuck away the left overs. If you do a booking via Expedia, hotel offers little to no assistance in case you try to change your reservation. Both parties put it on each other. I or anyone i know will never ever stay at Movenpick Makkah. Plus, uber cars are also not available at Movenpick's pick up area.

Clean rooms and amazing staff. Its incredibly close to Haram (kaaba) no matter the Rush, you can easily reach on foot from and to kaaba, for non ahram people gate 91 is closest.

Room was clean but.... It's suppose to be king suite with sofa combed but it wasn't up on either they want to sell 100 sar ber or upgrader to partial haram view with room Down grade to 4 bed that too for 600 sar per night Room corridors stinks a bit

The location is great! The property condition is very bad. Considering it’s a 5 star hotel the room and bathrooms need maintenance and upgrade. I’d not consider staying here again.

The room condition was unacceptable for $225 per night. The bathroom was unsanitary with visible mold, flies, and a persistent strong urine odor. A squeaking exhaust fan added to the discomfort. Worse still, our room's air conditioner circulated cigarette smoke from other areas, and the hallway from the elevator was also smoke-filled. Given the poor conditions and high price, I cannot recommend this hotel for visitors to Makkah. There are better accommodation options closer to the Kaaba.

I stayed at the hotel for nine days, and my stay was enjoyable because the hotel is very close to the Haram and has restaurants inside. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. The rooms were comfortable, and the service was high quality. The staff were friendly. Room service was available 24 hours a day, and the staff were helpful. The luggage service was excellent, especially Hamdi the Thai. The hotel is definitely worth trying, and I will book it again on my next visit without hesitation because it truly deserves it

This hotel needs some serious upgrading of the rooms especially for the price they’re charging. I know it’s due to the location but there are other hotels in the same tower that have much better facilities and are far more modern than the Movenpick.

Unfortunately my accommodation was not like I expected. I booked a tripple room and got a double room, which was so small. The WiFi was very very bad. The breakfast quality was ok but not what a 5 star hotel should be.

Amazing Stay with Exceptional Service I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can honestly say it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Abdihamid, who was especially kind and helpful. His warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable, and he truly exemplified the level of service this hotel strives to provide. Room and service staff were great. Front desk staff were not grrat. Actually did not do a good job, were not welcoming at all We called for early check in and were told we could come for early check in then we get there after leaving Jeddah only to find out that we cant check in early. This is the staffs fault. We kept getting passed around from 4am to 2pm until we finally received a room. Through out all this, the staff did not make comments / notes in systems for other staff to follow up on so we kept having to repeat ourselves. To me, they were acting like they are new staff, uninterested and unmotivated. They did not care to help or resolve the problem what so ever and had us coming back constantly, giving us false info that a room would be ready in 45 mins, then another 45 mins, then another until we finally received one. I dont believe Ill be coming back. Staff really needs to work on customer service skills, because you can make a hotel pretty but the experience is everything.

I like their customer service, very friendly and responsive. I called at 3 am and requested some tea bags ,they delivered it quickly. Cleaning stsff very nice and friendly. Overall very clean and near to haram abd shopping. Will stay again.

I had to change rooms three times because of a mildew smell. The worst part about it was the receptionist acted as if it was my fault and suggested I get a room with 3 twin beds instead of 1 king as I booked.

Everything was good except for communication wasn’t good at all for example two times I did upgrades to my rooms and everytime I had an issue Like after choose ,agree and pay for everything they tell me go to your room and someone will come and move you over right away then I have to call reception every half hour and they say he is in the way until after 2-3 hours I go down the reception and talk to them and they first deny that upgraded anything until I prove everything then they say ohhh we put the wrong informations on system .like I said twice they gave me same reason and when I asked I wana talk to the manager to make complain they wer like why you wana talk to the manager if we allready solved the issue . I told them I wana make sure he knows so it dosnt happen to someone else again But they won’t listen . any way my geuss is they have untrained staff that’s what it seemed to me . Thank you

Stayed at the above hotel last week. Brilliant service from check in to check out. Duty manager was extremely helpful. Housekeeping staff were fantastic. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive- always ready to help. The hotel staff could not do enough to make sure that we were comfortable and well looked after. Best location for Haram access. Would highly recommend and definitely look forward to visiting soon again.

This property is great, the only reason I’d give it a 4 out of 5 is more for the location. Being in the clock tower and trying to get to your room and out of your room during prayer times or on jummah can take up to 30 minutes or more because of the rush of people. Also the sheer amount of people in and out of the mall when looking for diner or other busy times can become extremely overwhelming. I also think breakfast can be better, but other than that, great hotel, and great staff.

Not well kept hotel. There are no signs posted for hotel and reception is at the 11th floor with horrible elevator. Rooms are stale and dirty. Breakfast is one of the worst. I would recommend to stay at Hilton convention couple of blocks away. 100 times better and nice ambiance.

I stayed 9 nights ,free breakfast Three restaurants save same old same old food everyday, the food basically suits Malaysian guest ( Rice and curry for breakfast) may be majority of the guests from that region, docent mean we also eat the same food , never had any choice, all fruits from old can fruits ( 5star hotel?) big disappointment

Breakfast was dreadful, it was more for the Asian people with cuisine suited to them.. no toaster or sliced bread. I paid £700 per night and thr overall room and breakfast was well below what was expected.
