What guests think
At Lohas Residences Sukhumvit 2, travelers consistently praise the friendly, helpful staff, quiet yet convenient Soi 2/4 location with a free tuk-tuk, spacious suites with kitchens and washers, plus a pleasant rooftop pool and usable gym.
However, the building feels dated and guests report recurring maintenance problems such as unreliable air-conditioning, unstable hot water, and occasional noise. Cleanliness feedback is mixed: many find spaces clean, but some report pests (cockroaches, ants, even bedbugs) and worn bathrooms. Breakfast is acceptable but can be limited or repetitive, and coffee may cost extra; rooftop facilities are liked, though certain amenities (for example, the hot tub) have been out of order. Expect a good-value, apartment-style stay if you can accept aging hardware and the walk to transit.

Facilities
Rooftop pool and gym receive frequent praise, and the free tuk-tuk helps reach the main road/BTS; the lobby tour/transport desk is useful. Some facilities show age, and items like the hot tub have been out of order.

Returning guest to my favourite hotel when staying in Bangkok. Excellent hotel in great location in quieter part of Sukhumvit Soi 4: main entrance is towards southern end of Soi 2 with a back entrance to southern end of Soi 4. It’s a short walk to Benchakitti park, or Nana Plaza and BTS stations. Soi 4 has a very good range of restaurants, bars and adult entertainment, plus other areas of interest are within walking distance. I stayed for 8 nights in a Deluxe Suite, which had everything I wanted, plus the room was spacious with a big comfortable bed. All of the staff are friendly and helpful (housekeeping lady was wonderful) and there is a very good travel and transport service available in the lobby.

The reception Staff were extremely kind and caring. They were always ready to answer questions or help us with whatever needs that we may have. Close proximity to parks, malls and Metro making it very convenient. There were plenty of food choices within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable each day. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The garden terrace and pool are quite nice and the exercise room was spacious. Would definitely come back and stay at this property again in the future.

The staff will droo you off within easy walking to BTS. Breakfast was ok but almost the same thing every day. I would stay there again. Good value for the price

Room was dark and dank. Little natural light, toilet dripped the entire time, housekeeping picked up the robes and shower mat but didn’t replace them. If you go for breakfast, don’t expect a coffee. It’s not included and you have to pay extra at the coffee shop

Single male stayed for two nights in a deluxe room. Room was spacious (huge), clean and comfortable with everything I needed, plus the bed was comfortable and I slept well every night. The staff were great and I would happily live here long term! Only negative was the Wi-Fi signal which was very unreliable and I really needed a reliable service for my work situation. There is a convenient shortcut to Soi Sukhumvit 4 and you are a short walk from Benchakitti Park which is worth a visit. There is plenty of nightlife all along Soi Sukhumvit 4, including the famous Nana Plaza. Plenty of shopping malls are nearby as is Soi Cowboy: all within a reasonable walking distance (unless you are lazy). Do yourself a favour and visit Green Room music bar in Soi Sukhumvit 7: Bangkok's best Rock, Rhythm & Blues Bar In the heart of Sukhumvit (no lady drinks!)

Returning guest to my favorite hotel when staying in Bangkok and I stay here as often as I can. Staff are very friendly, eager to help and remember me from my previous visits, which is appreciated. Excellent hotel in great location in quieter part of Soi 4: main entrance is towards southern end of Soi 2 with a back entrance to southern end of Soi 4. It’s a short walk to Benchakitti park, or Nana Plaza and BTS stations. Soi 4 has a very good range of restaurants, bars and adult entertainment…plus other areas of interest are within walking distance. The rooms are spacious with a big comfortable bed and everything I want or need in a room. There is also a very good travel and transport service available in the lobby.

Location
Set in a quieter spot between Soi 2 and Soi 4, within walking distance of parks, nightlife and BTS; the shuttle eases access. Some find the walk to transit long or uncomfortable in the heat.

Returning guest to my favorite hotel when staying in Bangkok. This was my second stay at this hotel and I will be returning again in mid-August. Excellent hotel in great location in quieter part of Soi 4: main entrance is towards southern end of Soi 2 with a back entrance to southern end of Soi 4. It’s a short walk to Benchakitti park, or Nana Plaza and BTS stations. Soi 4 has a very good range of restaurants, bars and adult entertainment, plus other areas of interest are within walking distance. Breakfast is available at the ground floor restaurant and I ate there most mornings. I stayed for 5 nights in a Premier Room with balcony, which had everything I wanted. The room was spacious with a big comfortable bed. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and there is a very good travel and transport service available in the lobby. The only downside to my stay was the presence of a very inconsiderate family in the room next door: they had young children, but somehow the parents deemed it acceptable to go out for long periods of time, whilst leaving the children unattended. The result was yelling, screaming kids who would occasionally ring my doorbell for amusement: when they checked out, it was so much nicer.

Staff was friendly. A little out of the way and the floors in the room need replaced. Nice having stove fridge and washer and dryer. Hot tub didnt work. The staff will droo you off within easy walking to BTS. Breakfast was ok but almost the same thing every day. I would stay there again. Good value for the price

Dining
Breakfast is okay but variety can feel limited or repetitive, and coffee may be an extra charge; when open, the on-site restaurant is clean with decent options. Overall food impressions are modest.

Room was dark and dank. Little natural light, toilet dripped the entire time, housekeeping picked up the robes and shower mat but didn’t replace them. If you go for breakfast, don’t expect a coffee. It’s not included and you have to pay extra at the coffee shop

Absolute a pleasure staying at Lohas Residence, this is my fourth time staying there, great motel. May I suggest though , having a bar at the pool would be so much better , like between 12pm-4pm, with light snacks, just a thought. I will be staying there again,. Thankyou Lee Worboyes 🙏
