Guest reviews

What guests think

AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

At Solitaire Bangkok Sukhumvit 11, guests consistently praise the friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and the convenient Soi 11 location near restaurants, bars and BTS Nana, with some enjoying spacious upgrades and city views. However, multiple reviews note nightlife noise, a separate wing across the street with fewer amenities, and occasional room maintenance issues such as weak hot water, dated decor or lingering odors. Facilities feedback is mixed too: the pool is small with limited sunbeds and sun, the gym can be dated or partly out of order, and breakfast quality varies from excellent to poor. Expect a lively, convenient base with warm service rather than a quiet resort stay.

Stayed 2 nights

Room was tired and found a packet of durex next to the coffe machine very alarming. Shower head needed attention but was ok. Was fairly peaceful but only because I was upgraded so did not get to experience the standard rooms. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and a lot of the hot food was cold. Some of the stations had ran out of food and took a while to get them replaced Limited staff to help and struggled to get a table. Location very vibrant but a bit of a hike off the man Sukhumvit road. Overall I would class this as a good value budget hotel ideal for a cheaper stay compared with more upmarket options on the main drag.

Stayed 4 nights

The bed linnen had spots on it when we arrived, and the room temperature had been set to a freezing 18°C. The room was overall a bit worn. We stayed right next to a different room and we could clearly hear the other people speak from the other side of the wall. The breakfast was fine, but nothing remarkable. The hotel staff however were very sweet and helpful. I would recommend getting a room with windows.
