Jabal Omar Conrad was exceptional Haram boundary is across the road, close to gate 79 from where you enter for tawaf Elevators are instant They have mussalla facing the mosque so you see the mosque while praying . Breakfast is excellent too, has desi and Arabic cuisine in breakfast.

Updated and spacious rooms. Buffet was good though I’ve had better at Swissotel Makkah (not Maqam). Friendly staff. Very convenient location with access to everything including transportation. Cafe was good. Overall incredibly convenient. Fast elevators. Never felt crowded. Adhan and Salat are broadcast in rooms. Great option for families with children

Excellent facility, close to haram, just opposite Haram's gate no. 79 (used for Tawaf). The rooms are spacious and they provided two double beds and one single bed for a family of 4 which was excellent. Lift is new and very fast. Good breakfast options. They charged extra for the kids breakfast which was not clear when I was booking at Expedia as Kids were included in the booking. So be mindful of that when booking. The taxi I arranged for pick up was not allowed in initially due to security clearance at the entry level. It delayed my departure for half an hour. I would stay again here in the future.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Overall, very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. A short walk to Haram via the concourse level, through a small shopping area. Elevators were quick and functioning. We had two rooms booked, but had to upgrade to a family suite (for additional charge) because they were unable give us both rooms on the same floor. The upgrade allowed us access to the executive lounge which was really nice. Special call out for a staff member named Mohammad Rahat in the executive lounge for his outstanding behavior and service! Breakfast was great with lots of options. Many thanks to Fayaz Khan (staff at the breakfast area) for providing great service. Recommended!

The location is in very close proximity to king Fahd gate of Haram making it very convenient for Omrah visitors The hotel is connected to a mall and large selection of restaurants through its lower level Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location for umra. Good value for money. Haram 3 minutes walk. Much needed spot for Umra specially with kids. Stayed 4 nights Room I had was superior room with two queen beds. Really comfortable and excellent service. Arabic tea with dates were excellent. We did not had buffet while booking because of our routine for Prayers and Umra. Highly recommended. Also there are many food options with in the building. Kids love eating out.

Great hotel cleaner and more modern than clock tower, less crowded too. Right behind dar altawheed so walking to Haram. Praying area in hotel included in holy mosque so you can pray there. Room was spatious and bathroom amazing. Bed’s comfortable and elevators were quick. The housekeeping staff were very cooperative and polite. the room was cleaned thoroughly with a beautiful scent when we came in.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Conrad Hilton Makkah. The location is excellent, the service was generally very good, and compared to the Clock Tower, this hotel is far more convenient. One of the biggest advantages is the elevator system, which works smoothly and quickly, unlike the long waits often experienced at the Clock Tower. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The shower drainage was very poor, and water would remain standing after use. When we asked housekeeping about this, they explained it was due to the design and slope of the showers. Unfortunately, this caused the caulk to become moldy, which did not feel hygienic, and we felt the need to use slippers while showering. Additionally, the carpets in the rooms were quite dirty and could benefit from a thorough cleaning. Another concern was that housekeeping pressured us to give a 5-star review and even took my phone to submit it themselves, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. It gave the impression that staff may be incentivized for positive reviews. Despite these issues, the overall experience was still positive, and we would recommend the Conrad Hilton Makkah for its comfort, service, and excellent location, while hoping the management addresses the points mentioned above.

Excellent emplacement, à 5 min à pied du haram. Excellent petit déjeuner. Par contre pour la chambre je m’attendais à mieux, j’ai pris une chambre familiale, les lits sont petits pour cette gamme d’hôtel. Par contre mauvaise odeur dans la douche et odeur d’urine insupportable dans les toilettes.

Hotel and rooms, including staff (minus the person who came to address our washroom concerns) were very nice. 3 min walk from Gate 79, which is very convenient- umrah was a breeze due to the location of the hotel- however, washrooms were a disaster. For a hotel that is considered 5 stars, washrooms were moldy and the water in the shower was not draining, leaving a very bad smell. It was also not clean. For the price, cleanliness should be #1. Our room particularly had a leak by the washrooms, which were addressed to staff but all we got was “we’ll do something about it”… nothing was done about it, we were there for 2 nights so we decided it wasn’t worth the hassle, let’s just deal with it. I’d like to tie recognition to our room service staff, who went above and beyond, and were very kind. Overall- hotel and location was great, and the hotel itself is beautiful- not sure if it was just our washrooms with the issues but if you’re staying here and have the same experience- please address it and get it fixed

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Conrad. It was close to the Haram (gate 79) and I would choose to stay here again. Only 2 things require improvement. Housekeeping on time without having to ask for it. However, it was done when requested. The rooms were clean, but bathroom had parts which require maintenance as with time its expected to deteriorate. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel and would definitely recommend it. The staff were welcoming.

Room was lovely and an excellent breakfast spread. We booked a room with Haram View but hardly any view wasn’t worth paying the additional. We spoke to reception however, they were unable to change the room as the hotel was fully booked. The location is great 5min walk to gate 79 of the Haram and lots of malls and food options within walking distance. Hotel was very clean and rooms were spacious. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Across the street from Gate 89 of the Haram (The Sacred Mosque). For bathroom breaks for instance, you may realize that it is just 3-4 more minutes (i.e., convenient) to walk back to the hotel than use public toilets. Breakfast buffet - the single most important meal you'll take - is quite extensive and high quality. Rooms have view of the Haram, and are clean, comfortable and spacious. Pretty much next to the Fairmont, yet better price.

I will be back Positives - very close walk to Haram (steps to Haram are a matter of crossing the road and gates to Haram are 5-6 mins walk. Very good access for women (Gate 79) and access to second floor (gate 84) - Someone is always at the doors to open and close them. Helps when you have luggage and good security. - very clean spacious property - nice and spacious reception area and the two rooms we had were both very spacious - manager at breakfast (think it was Mohammad) was like a hawk, walking the floor and speaking to customers - Manager at the front of house (I forgot his name) was very welcoming. I had an issue with my luggage and only realised this later in the day. He went out of his way to try and connect me to the person who had taken my suitcase but there was no answer. He advised me to go back to Jeddah airport as from experience the airline wouldn’t pick up the phone. I would have loved the hotel to call the hotels in the area (my AirTags was showing the suitcase was 300m away, but the area is full of hotels - a true 5* hotel would certainly have done that). That being said, going to the airport was the right advice and thankfully I managed to get my suitcase later in the day, through some detective work! Improvements - housekeeping: had to call and ask for towels and floor mats. On our final day the person who made up the room was excellent. I wrote to the manager to share this. - breakfast time: very slow to clear up the table and replace cutlery.

Friendly service. Check in at 4pm was a long wait as everyone was checking in at same time. Took over an hour for us to check in. Room was clean. And housekeeping service was excellent, by brother Nisar in particular. Location is good. Breakfast was a bit crowded, but kids approved of the choice so cannot complain.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, I would say Jabal Omar is next talk of the town. Great location and Lifts were pretty quick beautiful hotel with amazing decor. Spacious room and bathroom with separate walk in closet. Manager Mohammad Ali was a great host and helpful, check in was smooth and friendly. Sorted out all our queries in jiffy. FIRDOS was such an amazing house keeper who looked after us extremely well. Very humble always there to make us feel comfortable. We stayed on floor 2 and he was on that floor to make sure we have clean and fresh rooms. We all liked him so much. Such a decent person to talk to.

The staff are amazingly hospitable and work very hard to resolve any issue. Every single person we interacted with smiling and willing to help. We travel alot and this hotel has the best workers all round! They even helped rebook train tickets. Very pleasant. Hotel is walking distance to Haram and lots of ahopping nearby. They also have 2 coffee shops on premises and 2 restaurants.

Reception service is terrible. On hold for 24 mins. At checkout asked for 8 riyals even after I confirmed twice before that no bills were outstanding. Refused to connect me to restaurant, gave me the number and told me to dial myself. Charged for in room breakfast even though buffet breakfast included in the stay.

I took them 2 hrs to check me in The lady who checked me in her name Rowan was not prfessional. She kept me waiting and went inside the office.I checked in at 530 Pm. Not even aplogized. The hotel is very close to Haram Good quality food Great staff at the restaurant

Excellent customer service. We came in late and they made our checkin so smooth and peaceful. Breakfast buffet has a tremendous variety, even my kids were impressed. Every single person we enteracted with was very pleasant. Feom bell desk to concierge, they are knowledgeable and it was well worth it.

Outstanding stay, close to haram gate 79. In fact the lift in the hotel goes directly to the floor where you can walk 2 mins for kaaba. Excellent service. Outstanding view of haram.

This was a very comfortable and convenient hotel. Very close access to masjid al haram and clock tower. We stayed for three nights and MashaAllah it was a great experience. Even though we were not able to enjoy their breakfast due to timing and we being very tired, in sha Allah next time we will plan for a longer stay and enjoy everything this hotel has to offer.

Clean and modern hotel in close proximity to the masjid. Option to listen to live Adhan in your room through the ceiling speakers. Great breakfast options. Great staff. The only downside if you are planning to go to the masjid for salaah in jammaat is that the direct route gets closed near/around prayer times so you’ll have to leave earlier to get through before the police close the shortest and direct route to the masjid… this means you’ll add another 5 or so minutes to walk around to get in to the masjid, so if you’re running late or want to leave the hotel after the adhaan, then you might not be able to get through in time. Otherwise this is my favourite hotel in Makkah so far!

Hotel let down by their meal policy - children excluded from meals (including breakfast, half- board), despite paying for full room lodgings. A sneaky way for the hotel to appear to be reasonably priced on comparison/ booking websites, then hitting customers with extra costs later.

Made a mess of my paid breakfast. Paid for all of family’s breakfast for full stay, then said children over 8 have to pay again (?) So out of 5 people, only 2 were allowed to have breakfast - Although paid nearly £20 each, per person per day No refund given !

Nice spacious rooms, clean hotel very good location next to haram. My only 2 criticism would be 1. Women not allowed to use gym. They should have a time for women to use as it was empty anyway 2. Dinner costs 250 riyals each. I had a family of 6 so no way I can justify spending £360 approx for dinner. They need to be a bit more reasonable.

This hotel was excellent in every category. The only issue we had was that they wouldn’t honour the free breakfast for the 3 guests under the age of 17 as we booked 3 rooms with free breakfast. It was very disappointing that they wouldn’t honour our free breakfast option that we paid extra for.
