Galleria 12 Sukhumvit Bangkok by Compass Hospitality

I waited several days to do this review to try and ensure not too adversely affected by way a mistake by me was handled by front desk. I have been travelling for over 4 years, mainly in 4 star hotels, but normally stay in 3 star on Sukumvit when in Bangkok, but wanted to try something 4 star. Evening arrival in Soi12, set alarm bells ringing, was narrow, poorly maintained street, dark in places. I am a solo male traveller, if I was solo female not sure I would be comfortable there at night. Reception, like I found much of hotel was ok/fair but not to 4 star appearance/finish I have come to expect. Room was decent size, clean but again furnished cheaply e.g. melamine doors on cupbards. Bathroom ok for size but not best design. position of toilet meant shower door had to open inwards, given compact size made entry awkward. Rainfall shower head could do with descaling? Bed was comfortable, and housekeeping responded quickly to request for extra clothes hangers. Has nice pool area, with good quality/comfortable sun loungers. Pool is on ground floor, and building size, positioning means deck/pool gets very little sun, hence pool a little bracing for most users in January. Gym with good selection of free weights and several work stations near pool area. My mistake, was confusing departure date. Got message to vacate that day. Asked if could extend 1 day in any room. Told fully booked, none available. When leaving hotel, guy next to me was doing exactly that, fobbed off?

プールの中に植物の葉が多く入っていた。定期的に除去はしてくれていたがもう少しこまめにしてもらえるとありがたい。

Bara skugga i poolen. Litet rum med dålig utsikt och dåligt ljusinsläpp. Mycket trevlig personal.

The hotel was great on the inside but the pool was dirty and the hotel is in an alleyway. You can get their free tuk tuk to the Main Street but not back to the hotel so it can be somewhat unsafe.

Staff were amazing and very helpful and friendly, it was very clean and they gave us an early check in and room upgrade. Food was great and very well priced. Gym isn’t the best though.

Solid value, good location. Friendly staff. Would stay here again. Drawbacks: It’s a bit far down the soi. Not bad, but it’s a 5 min walk to Sukhumvit. Rain or heat will get you by the time you get to the BTS. The “king” bed was two singles pushed together. Not comfortable to have the split in the middle. Pool could use some attention. Chair cushions are old and worn. Overall area is a bit smelly and a lot of flies. Perhaps the rubbish bins are close?(other side of wall?) And there’s a 50 baht charge for ice. Sure, it’s not much, but come on! Put ice machines in!

이번이 2번째 이용이었으며, 메인도로에서 걸어서 7분정도 소요되며, 외츨시는 톡톡이를 무료로 이용가능하며, 숙소청결도 좋은 편임, 직원들도 굉장히 친절합니다. 조식은 과일,빵, 밥등 대체로 중상정도 입니다. 2번째 이용이어서 그런지 불편함없이 잘 보냈읍니다. 체크아웃이후 가방보관해줘서 감사했읍니다.

The room was clean, the gym ok. Breakfast very nice. Good price for sleeping long 199 B from 9.30-10.30. Good placement nice pool.

Bon emplacement, près de la station de métro, centre commercial, bars et restaurants, cependant il est au calme. Hôtel propre et personnel sympathique. Petit déjeuner en option, buffet varié et copieux. Dommage le café est à payer à part. Petite piscine avec des serviettes à disposition et salle de sport.

Great location.. just a bit disappointed in my room .. some things not working mainly lights and TV but a attempt was made to fix them good enough to use.. and small cockroaches.. not a lot but they are there

혼자여행하면서 리뷰가 좋은것 같아 5박예약했습니다 첫날 체크인시 더블베드 예약했으나 트윈베드로 배정됐더군요 바로 프론트에 CP해서 더블로 다시배정받았으나 역시 싱글베드 붙여놓은 객실배정하더군요~뭐그정도는 이해합니다~객실이 없으면 그럴수있지요~그것까진 이해합니다 체크인하고 바로 외출후 늦게 들어와 쉬려고 하니 침대시트에 뭔가 오점이 있는것같아 시트를 들추니 기가막히더군요 ㅜㅜ 최소한의 위생상태도 확인 안하는것 같습니다 늦은시간이라 다음날아침에 프론트에 2차 CP했더니 미안하다는 한마디 안하고 메트리스 교체해준다고 하더군요~제가 왠만하면 컴플레인 안하는 사람인데 이건좀 아닌것 같습니다~최소한 미안하단 말은 해야하지 않을까 생각됩니다 화가나지만 여러가지로 피곤하여 그냥 교체하라고 했습니다~가성비 대비 좋다는 리뷰보고 투숙한 제잘못이죠~방콕에 재방문시 다시는 안올듯합니다~한국분들이 많이 이용하시는것 같은데 참고하셨으면 합니다~위생상태 별로 안좋습니다~같은가격이면 현재묵고있는 갤러리아 10 호텔이 훨씬 퀄리티있고 숙박하기 좋습니다~

Clean room, nice staff and relaxing swimming pool, I spent most my bkk time in the hotel rather than on the street.

五日間利用したが最初の二日間はバスマットが用意されていなかった。 バスマットは無いものだと思ってたら三日目から用意されていた。

Flott service, helt ok rom med alt du trenger. Roomservice ryddet og ordnet på rommet hver dag. Veldig fornøyd mtp pris og opplevelse.

Property overall was overall quite ok and staff very helpful. While the room was clean, we arrived to two bath towels but no bath mat. On the second day, we asked and received one. Friend’s room had no towels! Shower did not draw n properly so bathroom floor soaked and it becomes a safety hazard.

Good condition hotel. Rooms is very small and there is no window or it's next to other building. Bed is good. Breakfast ok , but not much to choose from.

Friendly attentive staff. Great location, although a bit of a walk down the soi. 7-11, 5 mins walk. BTS around 8-10 mins. Lifts are a bit weird and were complicated after a long day of travelling. It was noisy at times. Ignorant people coming in late at night, shouting in the corridor, and banging around. Room was adequate, although bathroom space for bits limited. Otherwise good place. I would stay again, but only if the price was right.

Great hotel in an excellent location. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are good and the shower is amazingly powerful. This was my second stay here and will be back.

Quiet and convenient to get to BTS station. Sound insulation could be better though as I was able to hear people in the room next door talking late at night

I always go to this hotel in BKK. Good and quiet room, smart tv with tv box, good shower, clean every day, good and nice staff who help me for taxi to go to a party music concert an evening. Very well located near Terminal 21.

Not happy with the front desk staff. Check in time was 2pm, i had to wait until 3pm as my room was unready. I arrived at the room they gave me twin bed when asked for a double bed. Not friendly at all, will not visit again.

Outstanding Service! Had a fantastic stay thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Operations Manager Nadia and her wonderful team—Sao, Wan, Punch, and Appo. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was warm, attentive, and seamless throughout. Truly a memorable experience!

The last day of the trip there was no power in the hotel and we had to move to another hotel. After some discussions they were kind to drop us at the other hotel. We had to pay for the room in the new hotel. Galeria said they would pay back the money for the night. More than a week ago and still not received the money from them on my credit card. Now I have to call them to sort this out. Just frustrated about this. This could have been dealt way better.

Excellent staff

Bad service! Don’t go there!!! I check in in after 10 hours flight from Europe. Came to my room at 14:50 all I wanted to do is to take a shower and rest. I entered the bathroom , and there was a used towel only. I called the reception asking for a towel . She said they will bring right away. After additional 12 minutes . I called again asking for a towel. She said that the laundry hasn’t come yet and I need to wait 30 minutes to one hour. I said it’s unacceptable bring one clean towel from another room and later fix the rest , I only want to take a shower !! She said it’s not my fault , You need to wait! I asked to talk with the manager but he is not around . Only after 45 minutes after waiting at my room. I received 2 towels… The attitude was terrible !

The front desk help me to change to another room very quickly when I found the air conditioner is malfunction.

Perfect location WALKING distance less than 5 mins close to BTS station, Terminal 21 mall, Sukhumvit plaza clubs and Korean restaurants.

L’hôtel est plutôt bien placé. Il est au calme car plutôt loin dans la petite rue 12. Il n’y a pas grand chose d’ailleurs dans cette rue. Les chambres sont plutôt simples et fonctionnelles donc rien à dire. Sukhumvit n’est pas un quartier que nous avons approuvé car trop bouché et bruyant pour nous.

Very good value for money in an expensive areas. For the price it's very hard to beat in the Asoke-Nana area. Great small hotel with the kind of thai value-for-money that seems to be harder to find with each year. Rooms are comfortable, aircon cold, bathroom nice, staff plentiful and friendly. There is breakfast (overpriced) and a ground floor pool. A bar at the top floor. The street itself doesn't have much going on, but its a short walk to 7-11, Koreatown or Terminal21 mall as well as Soi 11/Cowboy if that is for one's interest. Quiet, no red light action. Unsure as to guest friendliness, think it would be possible if smart about it. Travellers are this hotel seem to mainly be korean tourists along with westerners.

아속역에서 출발하는 투어에 참가하느라 예약한 호텔. 약 800미터 거리에 아속역이 있어서 편하고 나중에 공항도 전철로 이동했어요. 조식도 좋았고 직원모두 친절해서 만족합니다.

Great hotel with nice breakfast.

Three rooms are very small. If you require a big room, this is not your hotel. The breakfast was very good as you have someone to prepare eggs your way. It also had a savory option like fish or chicken available. I chose to have both. Fresh fruit was cut for us. Coffee was fresh. The common areas were kept neat and clean. Staff was excellent and most spoke English.
