Caravan AlUla by Our Habitas

Luxurious caravans, excellent food, most helpful and efficient staff, magnificent surroundings. My favourite part was the complimentary daily activities. Everything at Habitas Alula just exceeded our expectations

Absolutely incredible stay. The staff were wonderful and the amenities and activities were exceptional. Couldn’t recommend more!

Unique desert stay experience. Friendly, caring, and helpful staff. Limited and expensive dining options. Caravans were extremely hot during the day (no cold water), despite the a/c working overtime. Beautiful pool area (but laden with guests and non-guests taking photos and videos). Programming schedules not aligned with the website (eg. woke up extra early for sunrise yoga, only to find that it was cancelled without notice and ended up teaching the class myself). Beautiful views. Was offered free view upgrade and late checkout. Reliable WiFi. Lots of free programming options. Would recommend for a unique experience.

Great experience for on night only as the caravan not suited for long periods. Transportation between the caravan and reception based on ordering cart through WhatsApp and sometimes take more than 20 minutes to arrive and no other alternative has been offered like bikes or scooters etc. and transportation like shuttle cars to surrounding areas only available for the spa and nothing else. If you don’t have car and try to order Uber sometimes it’s not available or keep canceling or require waiting for long time.

This hotel is part of two sites, so the caravans are not the main part. The pool/restaurant area is within the same fenced off area, but still about 5 minutes drive away (car plus golfcart or electric bike). The caravan is clean and obviously a bit cramped. I could not hear any sound coming from the Caravans next to mine also because the AC is quite loud. I would say the bed firmness on a scale from 1-10 (ten being like a door) is around 7, which i think is a bit softer than i like. The breakfast is adequate but i would highly recommend you go to the main resort for that. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall it is a nice place, amazing surroundings, just heavily overpriced.

This is a place to stay 1 or maximum 2 nights in my opinion is a unique spot and very interesting area even you are allowed to use Our Habitas facilities Is very convenient for that reason as well

Lo que hace una estancia mejor que solo las caravans es poder ir a todas las instalaciones generales de habitas, con su alberca, restaurante, café etc. Lo único a mejorar es que todos los caminos son sobre arena así que caminar de un lado al otro es un poco incómodo. También puedes esperar un carrito pero dependiendo la demanda puede demorarte hasta 20 minutos.

I had a great time at this property, and I would definitely return. All staff members at the property were very kind and courteous. A big thanks goes to the staff members at the breakfast area. I was very pleased with the options and quality of the food items from the food trucks. It is a big bonus that you can use the facilities of the nearby Habitas Resort with a free transfer service between Caravan by Habitas and Habitas Resort. A bit far away from Winter Park and Al Ula old town so you need to pre-order a taxi (best the evening before to get it confirmed) if you do not have a rental car. The free shuttle bus service between Habitas Resort and Winter Park (operated Experience AlUla) is operational, but the published timetable is not accurate. Anyhow, I used the service, but it requires a bit of patience and flexibility from your side. (Don’t be surprised if you are the only one on the shuttle bus, it is normal.) Forget about the transfer services offered by Habitas, their prices are “5 times higher” when compared to a taxi. I hate to say this, but the joint Reservation Department with Habitas Resort is a disaster and it is simply not working. If I have been waiting for their reply, I might still be at home today. It is clear that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. The best was when I finally got a reply that was addressed to another client… Guys, you need to get your act together as this experience with your reservation team was very poor.

Our stay in caravan by Habitas was really awesome. The staff working there are really good and the facilities especially that the residents in caravan can use facilities of main resort is nice. we spent most of our free time in the pool in the main resort. The staff there Bar Josh and life guard Hassan just go over and above. Drinks are really nice and food is good too. The pool is well maintained and clean. We did not have to wait to get a buggy to go to reception. Our caravan was cleaned to a very good standard by Housekeeping Johirul islam and sultan khan who were so nice and helpful . Though it is small it is appropriate for the location and price we paid. Water is refilled daily and if you want more housekeeping are happy to help. Breakfast is also very nice and presented in a really nice starting with mezze fruit bowl and then main dish. Salim who is the server at breakfast and Mohamed Hussein were always happy to help. The best item in breakfast is the falafel sandwich and peas and dill toast for vegetarians. The night movie in caravan is a really nice touch with daily shows at 8 pm. The food truck is really nice we ate there once and served by Navin who offered several suggestions for us as vegetarians. We loved our stay at caravan as we could go to Maraya which is 5 min from caravan and main Habitas swimming pool and grounds and the staff who is really warm and welcoming. You will not lack any comforts here as it is very clean and modern.

Cozy and clean caravans. It is a stay to remember. Highly recommended. I would definitely book it again for future trips. The vibes were amazing and the stay exceptionally above expectations.

The hotel has great service and a very kind and helpful staff. However, the mattress I slept on was really uncomfortable. Be mindful If you have back injuries.

Lugar incrível. Vc fica num trailer bem equipado no meio do deserto, mas com um excelente infraestrutura.

Beautiful setting but airstream has loud AC noise and also low mechanic humming sound which one can’t switch off. If you are a light sleeper it could be a problem. Staffs are generally very friendly but service is uneven. I requested a pair of earplugs and was promised but never arrange. Sometimes cart doesn’t come on time for pickup. The setting is divine but I think the hotel can use some improvement in staff training and also provide earplugs.

The Staff, the staff and the staff! The property is Excellent to say the least. The ambience coupled with the natural beauty of the surroundings are hard to beat.

The property is a beautiful glamping style resort, however the ability of the front office to help with local activities was remarkably poor, and the transportation within the resort was far below what would be expected at a leading hotel

It was an interesting experience with the caravans living up to the expectations, however the service was sub par for the price you’re paying. Communication was quite poor with staff.

Everything was perfect but was disappointed with the food. Especially in Tama restaurant that was in Habitas. Caravan area itself is beautiful and staffs are super kind. Would definitely recommend this place but eat somewhere else 😂😂.
