This is a lovely hotel with many beautiful details (old photographs and prints), tasteful decor touches. Probably the nicest hotel in this area. The staff are also very helpful. Nice breakfast selection. The rooftop pool is a bit small, but the views are great.

Nice hotel with a roof top bar and pool, helful and pleasant staff. We chose this hotel as it was with walking distance of Khao San Road (but not too close!) which is well worth a visit, along with another very quaint road that runs parallel to it that has a few very nice restaurants. Offers breakfast and the dining room is alongside one of the small canals.

The property was conveniently located. Most attractions within a 30 minute walk and lots of restaurants nearby. There is no food available at the hotel other than a buffet breakfast that is expensive. The "river" is really a canal. There was a loud strange noise in the middle of the night and again early morning coming from the floor above us where the pool is. Sounded like the pool was being drained or cleaned. Only happened 1 night but prevented me from sleeping soundly. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.The room was efficient although a little small. The balcony was really just sliding doors onto a ledge with a railing. Could stand but not sit. Overall, I would reccommend tjus hotel for it's location, price and staff, but wanted you to also be aware of some of the negatives.

This is a great option to be close to Rambutri and Kao San Road but nit be right in the middle of all the noise. It is a shortbwall awau from the bottom of Rambuttri where you can get great street food. Staff are helpful and the rooftop pool is a great place to relax though the drinks there are very expensive. The pool has sun in thr morning and shade in the afternoom. Rooms are spacious and clean

Staff were super friendly and helpful. We were given a quiet room at end of hallway facing canal. Breakfast was good. Housecleaning was good, but only given 2 towels each day - no face clothes. Perhaps to be expected in Thailand. Pool was really nice, however the roof deck only holds 13 lounge chairs. Can get a bit crowded. Unfortunately for us, smoking was allowed on the deck.

Gutes Zimmer mit Schwächen: Balkon nicht nennenswert, nur zum Wäschetrocknen zu gebrauchen. Aussicht auf enge Gasse, also ohne. Es fehlt ein Gym, welches 4- Sterne-Hotels doch haben sollten. Frühstück und Pool sind prima. Der Taxiservice mit günstigem Preis funktionierte bestens.

We loved our stay here. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was always delicious. The hotel is clean, quiet and close to Khao San market and plenty of food outlets. The big shopping malls were a cheap Grab away.

The first room I got wasn't clean (sheets were dirty and the side table had water on it so clearly hadn't been wiped down, who knows what else hadn't been cleaned!). Reception went up to look and tried to say it was ok but I asked to be moved. Second room I went up to was still being cleaned so I had to come down again (with my luggage). The third room was fine, but it's really disappointing that they didn't realise how much trouble this caused and didn't try to make up for it. This doesn't feel like a 4 star hotel at all.

We were very happy with our 6 night stay at Casa Vimaya. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed starting each day with their delicious breakfast buffet.

Unfortunately I woke up with a bed bug or tick, not sure, attached to my leg with a bite. Disappointing considering the price for Bangkok, it wasn't a cheap option by any means. Service was great, room was nice, location was good, but can't recommend for the reason stated. I plan on trying to get a refund.

Emplacement idéal. Près des restaurants et boutiques. A distance de marche du Grand Palais. Hôtel très bien entretenu, propre. Le personnel était très agréable et serviable. Le buffet déjeuner excellent et varié. Chambre Riverside confortable et tranquille. La piscine sur le toit a une très belle vue. Il y a seulement l’échelle de la piscine qui demanderait un ajustement afin de réduire le grincement. On a adoré cet hôtel.

Very good hotel in a perfect section of the city for tourist. Our BIG complaint was only about the 3rd person had a $$60 per night up charge which would be acceptable except for the $60 you get a roll away cement salad from a bed. Without question the hardest 2 nights sleep and being no Matter how we trued modifying the hardness the bed was simply awful. Wonderful staff at what could have been a much better score had the roll away bed simply just been hard and not like sleeping on the sidewalk.

Great hotel with very helpfull staff. We stayed at four hotels during our trip (all 4 or 5 star), and this hotel checked the most boxes: - great location - clean - good tv with movies - good WiFi - pool and open poolbar with service (other hotels had no service at the pool) - mini bar and free drinking water - good A/C Only downside is that some rooms are facing another building. We got one on the 2nd floor, and when we opened the curtains we were looking into a wall a few meters away, looking down we looked at a roof just below us, and on the side there was a huge ventilation system. We went straigt to the reception and complained - we were ofered to upgrade to a river view room on the 4th floor - this was much better, and I would recomend this, if you want to open the curtains. Otherwise the room was just fine. Close to: River and the pier 13 (hop-on/hop-off boat) Khoa San Road many restaurants and bars 7-Eleven just across the street

Unique to this property is its closeness to the river. The dining hall offered a great view of it and its inhabitants. Breakfast included a mixture of Western and Asian options. The property was clean and welcoming. However, the bed was not as comfortable with a mattress that was too firm and made for sleepless nights.

도로 쪽 방을 배정 받았다. 낮엔 시끄럽지만 외출하고 새벽에 복귀하면 매우 조용했음. 그러나 귀가 좋은 사람은 비추천. 나머지는 모두 좋았다. (슬리퍼가 없는 것은 조금 불편)

The property is in a magic location but a few things really let the place down. Beds were rock hard, staff were attentive when needed but were on their phones most of the time. Food was average and it seemed most guests ate offsite. There was also an obvious sewerage smell in the bathroom/toilet, the bathroom was clean so I’m guessing it was something to do with the drains/pipes. It’s a real shame because this property could be so much more with some attention to these things. In saying this we did enjoy our holiday here but we are not sure if we would stay here again.

Room was not sound proof at all. Unfortunately had a room positioned near a lift and was woken early every morning with loud noise. Also could just hear everyone having conversations. The aircon also made loud banging noises from 4am onwards. We asked the staff to fix this after the first night but we didn’t hear anything from the staff as to whether it was fixed and it happened again the second night. I messaged the hotel for a late check out in advance but was told I have to ask on the day of arrival which then it was not possible and our flight on checkout day was at 8pm. They said we can shower at the pool however we did not want to do this in front of everyone and get changed in a toilet. It would be good to accommodate requests in advance like this.

We really enjoyed our stay here , it was our first time in bangkok and the staff made sure we were comfortable , they gave us spa recommendations, the pool is perfect , the location is perfect , in a calm area but a 5 minutes walk to a lot of restaurants, spas , shopping and 7/11. A special mention to the receptionist Baby, she was very nice and welcoming , always there for us ! Thank you, we will definitely recommend Casa Vimaya Bangkok
We really enjoyed our stay here , it was our first time in bangkok and the staff made sure we were comfortable , they gave us spa recommendations, the pool is perfect , the location is perfect , in a calm area but a 5 minutes walk to a lot of restaurants, spas , shopping and 7/11. A special mention to the receptionist Baby, she was very nice and welcoming , always there for us ! Thank you, we will definitely recommend Casa Vimaya Bangkok

The first room I got wasn't clean (sheets were dirty and the side table had water on it so clearly hadn't been wiped down, who knows what else hadn't been cleaned!). Reception went up to look and tried to say it was ok but I asked to be moved. Second room I went up to was still being cleaned so I had to come down again (with my luggage). The third room was fine, but it's really disappointing that they didn't realise how much trouble this caused and didn't try to make up for it. This doesn't feel like a 4 star hotel at all.

Zunächst ist der überdurchschnittlich freundliche und angagierte service hervor zu heben. Nicht nur, daß ich sehr herzlich empfangen und begrüßt wurde, sondern darüber hinaus hat man sich, und hier vorallem eine Frau Bento, die Mühe gemacht, mir auch schwierigere organisatorische Aufgaben abzunehmen, so wie ich es sonst nur in sehr guten Hotels von einem guten Consierge gewohnt bin. Und dies mit einer Freundlichkeit, die den Charm dessen nicht vermissen ließ, der seine Aufgabe mit Hingabe und Freude ausführt. Angenehm war auch, daß das Hotel nach vorne der Zugang zu pulsierendem Leben ist und dennoch nach hinten in den Zimmern eine Oase ruhigen gleichsam dörflichen Lebens bietet. Nice hotel with a roof top bar and pool, helful and pleasant staff. We chose this hotel as it was with walking distance of Khao San Road (but not too close!) which is well worth a visit, along with another very quaint road that runs parallel to it that has a few very nice restaurants. Offers breakfast and the dining room is alongside one of the small canals.

We were a bit worried when our taxi arrived at the location because it seemed like a very bad part of town. After going inside we were happy with the overall appearance of the hotel and the service. Also, once we started walking around downtown, we realized that it was very conveniently located since it was within walking distance of many of the places we wanted to visit.

Loved my stay at Casa Vimaya! The room was updated & spotless. Lovely rooftop pool. The location is perfect! Walking distance to Khao San & the ferry. Would highly recommend & would stay again.

Took a trip to Bangkok for their Songkran festival. Wanted to be close to the action while still being away from it. This hotel satisfied that need. Blocks away from Thanon Ram Buttri and all of its delicious restaurants, food carts and bars. Also within walking distance of multiple temples. Super affordable, friendly staff, clean throughout, great breakfast buffet and an amazing rooftop pool and bar. Will be booking here again for next years return trip.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and our room had a nice and quiet view of the river. The room was clean and we appreciated that the a/c worked well especially with the heat. It is really close to Khao San Road and we were able to catch a taxi very quickly as well. The breakfast was ok and there were bugs snacking on the fruit but I suppose that is to be expected somewhat being near the river. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was conveniently located. Most attractions within a 30 minute walk and lots of restaurants nearby. There is no food available at the hotel other than a buffet breakfast that is expensive. The "river" is really a canal. There was a loud strange noise in the middle of the night and again early morning coming from the floor above us where the pool is. Sounded like the pool was being drained or cleaned. Only happened 1 night but prevented me from sleeping soundly. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.The room was efficient although a little small. The balcony was really just sliding doors onto a ledge with a railing. Could stand but not sit. Overall, I would reccommend tjus hotel for it's location, price and staff, but wanted you to also be aware of some of the negatives.

The property is in a magic location but a few things really let the place down. Beds were rock hard, staff were attentive when needed but were on their phones most of the time. Food was average and it seemed most guests ate offsite. There was also an obvious sewerage smell in the bathroom/toilet, the bathroom was clean so I’m guessing it was something to do with the drains/pipes. It’s a real shame because this property could be so much more with some attention to these things. In saying this we did enjoy our holiday here but we are not sure if we would stay here again.

Quel belle chambre et confortable.Le service est incroyable et quel hôtel luxueuse.Il y a qu’un seul point négatif selon nous et c’est le petit déjeuner.Tout est froid ou presque. Tu peux commander tes œufs mais le reste est froid.En 6 semaines c’est le jus le pire que j’ai vu.Pour moi impossible à boire pourtant j’en ai goûté pleins avec du sucre mais là c’est le pire.Si vous avez un peu le cœur sensible devant le resto c’est le canal que vous voyez et c’est pleins de déchets avec des odeurs.Malgré tout ça nous avons adoré notre séjour.Belle offre une machine nespresso dans la chambre avec capsule.♥️♥️♥️

Even though it’s I booked room listed as riverview view, it’s actually a canal view….however I still like it and totally enjoy the view since the breakfast room is just besides the canal where you can see plenty of fishes and the occasional water monitor lizards in the canal. River view room is also very quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Khaosan Road. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was not extravagant but I would say it’s good enough and matching the price I paid. The only small setback is that there’s no gym facilities in the hotel. Would definately book this hotel again for my next trip
