Tower Club at Lebua

I stayed at Lebua in Bangkok for 3 nights with my daughter. From my visit 15 years ago, I remember Lebua as one of the most luxurious hotels in the city — and while it still offers excellent service and an outstanding breakfast, the property is starting to show its age. The staff are genuinely attentive, and the breakfast remains one of the best in Bangkok. The lounge is also very pleasant. However, some facilities could use an update — the fitness center only has two treadmills, often with guests waiting, and the pool furniture is quite worn and needs replacement. There’s also no furniture on the room balconies, which is a missed opportunity given the great views. Finally, the outdoor entrance area no longer gives the impression of a true luxury hotel. Overall, still a very good stay thanks to the service and atmosphere, but the hotel would benefit from some refurbishment to regain its former five-star feel.

Ett hotell med du suverän service. Poolen har bara sol till 12.30 men det var ingen trängsel vid solstolarna. Loungen var helt ok, mycket bra service även där. Takbarerna var fantastiska, vilken utsikt. Gymmet var dock väldigt litet i förhållande till hotellet och dess stjärnor.

Property is excellent and staff is wonderful, the only issues is long wait times for the elevators for floors 51 and above .

Incredible rooms and views from the balcony towards the river. The hotel was nice and clean and fantastic in every way. Our only minus was the waiting for the elevators (only 3 working elevators that transported both hotel guests and people visiting the restaurants at top floor). Every elevator journey needed at least 5-10 minutes of wait. Also worth mentioning that the ground floor of the hotel was located in an abandoned mall, we thought it was a bit cool but the hotel should renovate the main entrance to match the interior of the rest of the venue.

Firstly I must say the hotel offered good value. I was looking at the Millennium and Inter-Continental however this was a lot cheaper and the reviews looked ok. The room was dated. Very antiquated amenities and the aircon ineffective. My biggest gripe having a club room on a high floor was just the three elevators that served the entire 64 floors. This made getting up and down tedious with always a wait. The gym was dated and the far too hot. The team were good at trying to make it cooler but given the huge openings above the ceiling, it made any form of aircon useless. I had club lounge access and I found that rather annoying with their strict no shorts policy. Given the elevator issue, even to just have a drink meant needing to get changed each time (it was 38 degrees outside each day). The breakfast was good though. Nice to sit by the poolside for breakfast. Great views too.

Restaurants and bars very expensive so you need to go out to eat. Hotel getting a little tired. Gym only has 2 tread mills and is too small for over 300 suites If in process of renovation hotel should link with a local gym. Service in Club Room fantastic but no Champaign in Club Room. Club Room food below average Not enough lifts for Club Rooms especially at weekends when restaurants and bars open to public. Manager Jacopo very very good. We had a few issues initially during my 14 day stay and he looked after us very very well.

We got the Hangover Suite. You can feel that there has been a lot of parties in that one... It needs a refresh. The hotel great, the lounge and breakfast is great. But the problem is that the pool area is small and it is in the shadows after 12.00. So if you are planning to use the pool and hang out there, this is not the hotel for you.

Service and room were great, food is amazing and enjoyed my dip in the pool, although access to the stairs into the pool was blocked, which makes it hard for people with issues to get in and out. Would have preferred softer mattresses too, they were very firm.

Processus de check-in un peu long (17 minutes) mais un welcome drink et le passage à une suite 2 chambres a pu combler cette longueur. La piscine de l’hôtel était trop froide (22 degrés) et il n’y avait aucune sauna.

The staff and social areas were outstanding. The pool was poor and constantly in the shade. The gym was average at best. The room was spacious and comfortable but without the wow factor. The roof top area was outstanding

Such a great hotel with an amazing view of the river. Hotel was straight luxury! Everything was pristine. I willl definitely stay here again!

The three bedroom suite was perfect, clean, and spacious. Staff is wonderful and met all our needs.

Ms. Eek was very nice and friendly assisting us with top skills services. I always stayed at the hotel for the past few years now. Loved the services, breakfast options, pool and all the rooftop atmosphere was beyond amazing. The only thing I would say though this time stayed. It was a lot of pigeons in the buffet, food, and the pool areas. It was a little gross out due to pigeons picking our food and they were in the pool as well. But that was the only thing I would say of the improvements.

Staff is excellent. Hotel needs major upgrade. My family and I stayed in a suite but toilets, shower, furnitures are really old. Mildew on tiles in shower not cleaned properly. View is superb but doesn’t compare to the room. Elevators and hallway in our suite floor are hot and smells.

Gesamte Einrichtung ist alt und entspricht nicht annähernd dem heutigen Stand eines Hotels dieser Kategorie. Alte, fleckige Teppiche, abgenutzter Boden, alte Badarmaturen, lärmige Klimaanlagen. Alter riecht man sogar. Wir waren wenig erstaunt, dass auf Nachfrage Servicepersonal seh rasch mit Duftspray vorbei kam - dürfte öfters vorkommen. Höhepunkt war sicherlich das Frühstück, an welchem es nichts auszusetzen gilt.

parking place is very old and dirty and bad smell. The hallways on each floor and breakfast restaurant are too hot. The elevator is so slow and also hot.

The hotel has no changing room / shower facilities nor sauna/steam. Fitness outdated. The hotel in general feels old. The shopping mall in the building is 80./. empty. The breakfast room was full of pigeons. You could not go and refill your coffee without birds sitting on your plate. Could be fixed w spikes or a thread on the top of the wall where they sat waiting. Staff not interested in hearing about the problem/solution. Rather disgusting

Rooms are noisy

I was told I would receive two complementary drinks and access to anything in the mini bar .... no drinks and mini bar was empty in my room. Also unfortunately the doors slam really loud on the floor I was on and could hear doors closing all night as guest came and went. Great hotel but attention to detail a little more would have been nice .

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great facilities. The suites are beautiful and the lounge access was a bonus. We would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Bangkok. We will stay again if we ever return to the city

Room was fantastic - views were incredible. We had 4 sep balconies each with a view and floor to ceiling glass windows in the lounge with the same views. Service was excpetional with lots of attention to detail too

Fabulous hotel in an amazing setting. The service is outstanding and the rooftop bars and restaurants are stunning. The rooms are large and well kept but in truth a bit dated and in need of a refresh. The lounge area is well run and well stocked with lovely views and attentive staff. Overall a great stay, we really enjoyed our time here.

Nice property, good location. The property is slightly dated (wall paper, carpet). I would say by far, I slept on the worst mattress during my travels, time to change/upgrade the bed

The view is incredible. Love the club lounge. Staff are fantastic. The buffet breakfast is one of the best. Will definitely be back.

Tower Club at Lebua is my go to choice of hotel when in Bangkok. It is my home away from home. So this should tell you how I feel about the hotel. Some of the many reasons I feel this way, - Staff - super friendly and efficient. Cannot do enough for the traveller. Hotel itself - very well maintained, very clean, beautiful foyer, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast has many varieties and styles to please even the most jaded traveller. The Tower Club is a joy to enter, staff know your name and are very professional and efficient. You are well looked after. The only drawback I found was going to 'The Dome', a tourist attraction. The drinks are very expensive but you are not allowed to wander around without buying a drink, and the staff can be quite pushy in this regard. I didnt buy a drink when I attended, and I was asked to leave as a result, even though I was a guest. A small inconvenience. I have just booked my 2026 trip and of course I am staying at Lebua. Highly recommended.

Property was beautiful, staff attentive. Only complaint was prior to arriving ordering a pick up from the hotel was impossible as their payment system was not working and there was no flexibility from the hotels end. They would not pick us up at airport and allow us to pay at hotel, even though it was their system not allowing the payment to go through. Tried 5 times with communication to hotel, they just kept telling us to try again which is not the answer. We took a taxi.

My stay was great. Unfortunately the hotel still has not released the pre authorized security deposit and it has been 20 days. We paid our balance in full and had no charges so there is no explanation as to why they have not released the hold.

Just not willing to work on a solution! After having a Visa problem in Vietnam I reached out to the hotel asking them to change the dates by one week. One would not think this was a very big ask? I went online and there is plenty of availability for the dates I needed. The hotel was just completely uncooperative about changing the dates even with a change fee and documents showing the delay. I guess when you are a well known big hotel customer service is not a necessity. I didn't get a chance to stay there so I can't comment on the hotel grounds, but I can say the customer service is horrendous.

The check-in process was wonderful. However, there were some issues with checkout. We paid for our dining at the restaurant which was a whopping 44,190 baht. $24,199 was placed on our card and the hotel had 20,000 baht taken as a deposit during check-in for which we were told, would be applied to any additional charges such as restaurant and room service charges. Our room types were on the same floor as the room in the movie “The Hangover” one of the two rooms was right across from the room used in the movie. We are a big family and typically pay all of our high expenses ahead of time to make traveling manageable. We also paid for VIP access which included some additional perks. To our surprise during checkout the hotel manager Jessica presented us with a bill for the same $44,190. We tried to explain that there in face should not be a balance and they asked if I had a receipt… luckily I did but it was in the trash in our room in the 56th floor. I went upstairs to our room and rummaged through the trash to produce a receipt for our payment. By the time I made it back to the counter, I started to feel humiliated. You see, I mentioned we were a big family - it’s my husband and I with our 7 children and to add to that we are African American. I shared with the manager Jessica that I was starting to feel very uncomfortable and did not understand why it was they didn’t have records of our payment requiring me to produce a receipt. This was not a good experience.

Our stay was ok. Good points: were the friendliness of the waiting staff. Sky bar was impressive. Breakfast buffet was good. Bad points: Tower suite rooms were average. We didn’t get the room we booked and were kept waiting nearly 2 hours to check in and get our room. Reception and guest service staff seemed to forget about us and simply allocated us a room without telling us. This tainted our check in experience; we received an apology but it didn’t seem genuine. Overall the hotel is nice but we probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Nice room views. Good sized rooms. Inconsistent staff in the Lounge people entry based on clothes, and let others with similar clothes in. Very poor service. Buffet breakfast was very good. Location was good.

This is an incredible hotel. The exceptional service and quality of food was beyond our expectations. Our room upgrade was top notch. Staff are professional and friendly. I would stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok. Thank you to all the amazing staff.

Our family—my husband, his friend, our 5-year-old son who just loves to swim, and his nanny—recently spent 8 unforgettable days at Tower Club at Lebua in their 3-bedroom suite, and it was truly exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded expectations. Jomel and Chanoknan at check-in welcomed us with such warmth and efficiency that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The entire lounge and dining staff were equally outstanding—always attentive, kind, and accommodating to our family’s needs. A special mention goes to Kritthanathat Kultanachot from the concierge team, who went above and beyond to take care of us throughout our entire stay. His professionalism, genuine care, and attention to detail made everything effortless—from daily arrangements to ensuring our comfort every step of the way. We were once again impressed by Executive Chef Avinash Rudola, who, for the second time, surpassed our expectations. His culinary creations at the breakfast buffet, the lounge offerings, and the dinner menu at Restaurant Mozu were all exceptional. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. I’d also like to express heartfelt thanks to the female staff member at the entrance (sadly, we missed her name). She took care of all our transportation needs and even ensured a seamless send-off when the hotel limousine van brought us to Suvarnabhumi Airport. She personally coordinated with the hotel’s airport staff to meet us upon arrival.

Staff were are happy and great at their jobs. Hotel is in a great position, lots of great stuff going on, easy to get transport, great stay thank you really fun time

While this was not located directly on the river, it was only a few blocks away. The restaurants and bars are world class!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in Location is ideal near Saphan Thaksin station and the Chao Praya river where you can take boat taxi. A visit to the open air Sky Bar is a must, but please be aware of the prices that are also sky high. Book your room with the magnificent breakfast and you don't need to go hungry for the rest of the day

Fabulous view of the city and river from the balcony, superb service on our arrival, and the 52nd floor breakfast view was also killer. Room was very spacious and bath area was lovely. Close to BTS station. It’s a 20-30 minute taxi ride to most places you want to go for sights or dinner, but that’s true for most of the hotels, and the cabs are cheap, so it’s not an issue.

This was a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities and the staff was excellent. While the area around the hotel was safe it was not the cleanest and there is no grand entrance to the hotel. Often times we walked down an alleyway to get inside or if you go through the main entrance, it looks like an abandon office/mall building.

Suite was very clean, service was excellent. We didn’t like being pushed to buy a drink just to see the iconic sky bar. Paying for a suite should allow you to freely spend time around the sky bar regardless of whether you want to purchase a drink or not. That’s the only negative.

The hotel is decent enough; the bed is not very comfortable, but the room is clean. The buffet breakfast is very good. What I hated, because it was too expensive—more than in New York—were the drinks on the rooftop! A regular drink, rum and coke, was the equivalent of USD $30! And they don't serve beer on the rooftop! Definitely, extremely expensive!!!

Hotellet er fint med hyggelig personell. Vi hadde ett Club room som har inkludert frokost, lønsj og hi tea fra 15 til 18 hver dag. Da unngikk vi å kjøpe måltider på hotellet. De restaurantene som er i hotellet er veldig dyre, om de er verdt det vet jeg ikke. For min del alle restauranter med stjerner styrer jeg unna, det er for lite mat til for mye penger. Det samme kan sies om baren i 64 etg også, 1 gin and tonic kostet ca 45 Eur (1400 bat) Vil jeg bo på dette hotellet igjen, Nei. Vil jeg anbefale det til andre, hvis du får stor rabatt på overnatting, Ja kanskje.

We had booked a table and ate at Restaurant Mezzaluna, it was top class food. The hotel's view of Bangkok was fantastic. The hotel's service and information were top class.

Awesome breakfast, they have everything and all is made with perfection. Best views to the town. Great service and super nice staff.

Vip access was two can of beer brought to room after an hour, the lounge at tower club food is very limited, drinks are good , but not worth the extra money
