We booked this property for an overnight stay off our cruise ship. Rooms were comfortable but no TV in bedroom. Our room was quiet however our traveling companion’s room had lots of street noise. Good breakfast buffet and a convenient Burger King off the lobby. They required a 2000 baht cash deposit at check in which was refined at checkout. Staff were helpful and courteous.

Breakfast was the only plus point for this hotel. This hotel really needs major renovations cause everything is old. No CCTV around any of the rooms so security and safety of the guests are not there. Hotel is in the middle of major shopping centers so it gets very hectic during the day. Location is perfect but the hotel is really old and needs maintenance (change of tiles, room paint, beds, full bathroom renovation, living area renovation etc)

とにかくショッピングをするのに最高のエリアです、ただし、となりのプラトゥーナムショッピングモールは、19:00頃から店が閉まってくるのでもう少し、遅くまで、開いていて欲しかったです。又、妻はそば好きなので、やよい軒又はFUJIが近くになかったのが残念でした。MBKまで食べに行きました。部屋は、とても広くて大満足です、又、マッサージ店も建物内にあるのでとても便利でした。

建築在完工時應該算豪華飯店,但至今略顯老舊。冷氣非中央空調, 是現今的分離式冷氣,我住的房間戶外冷氣主機震動噪音非常大。必須將室內溫度調高以減少運轉頻度才可以入睡。早餐算非常豐富，窗外又有泳池, 算是飯店最美之處。地點交通算方便,距機場捷運走路10分鐘路程。整體而言, 飯店品質充分反映在房價上，算物美價廉。

I was in Bangkok for one reason only - a bit (lot) of retail therapy! - and as other reviewers have stated it's very close to the shops. Everything is connected by covered walkways to shade you sun or rain so it's quite convenient. The property itself is rather dated so everything looks a bit tired and dark. The mini suite is quite comfy but the carpets have seen better days. As i was only there to rest in between shopping that wasn't a problem. Breakfast was ok but there was no hot water. Massage place clean. I would probably stay again.

The location was very accessible to everything, next door to Platinum mall, just a short walk to Big C and Central World. Canal boat going to MBK is very close. Staff are all friendly and speaks well in English. Room was spotless every day. And the breakfast buffet was satisfying. We're already planning to come back next year at this hotel. Grand Diamond Hotel is awesome.

The pictures of the room is not as shown. Rooms (our were two junior suite) were dated and carpet not properly cleaned, musty smell permeate the rooms. Would have been better if floor is laminate wood instead. Can skipped the breakfast option, even though some options we took outside the hotel are not that much better, and more expensive to boot.

We had to change rooms because the room and the carpet was so very dirty. So bad that we couldn’t believe they put us in 1904. The safe were ok about it and moved us the next morning. The new Junior Suite was so much better and no carpet. Great location

bin schon vor Corona mehrmals im Grand Diamond gewesen, leider hat das Hotel die Zeit, die es geschlossen war, um die Zimmer zu renovieren, die Zimmer sind so wie vor mehr als 10 Jahren, nur noch stärker abgenutzt bei unserem Zimmer war die Küchenzeile ramponiert, die Klimaanlage sehr laut, am Waschbecken gab es kein Warmwasser (bemängelt es konnte kein Abhilfe geschafen werden Die Lobby ist kein schöner Ort mehr und schumtzig, da zuviele Leute sich dort aufhalten die nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun haben die Gegegend "Pratunam" ist auch nur noch zum Touristen-nep man kommt vom Hotel sehr schnell zu Fuß zu den großen Einkaufcentren unt zur BTS

The property can be improved by switching to non-carpet flooring as the current carpet is old and stained. The tiling is cracked, which can become potential space for vermin to live. Aside from that, we stayed in the 2-bedroom family suite, which was spacious with a view. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning. Breakfast was buffet style and had great variety…good for families. The hotel was conveniently located next to one of the biggest malls in Thailand.

Other than the good location , Grand Diamond is a very old hotel , everything in the room is old , tv wire everywhere, control not working , there is stain on the sofa. The breakfast is also disappointing, in the past they used to serve sumptuous breakfast but now only simple dishes n most of it is cold even the porridge

My room was actually two rooms. While there was no utensils or pot pans, there was a stove and a refrigerator and a teapot. The shower was perfect for elderly people like me as it was walk-in. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The hotel itself was a little aged, but still very, very nice, it would’ve been nicer to be closer to the skyway
