Property is out of electrical capacity so no microwave, also they kind of have a coffee shop but that is definitely not a restaurant. No laundry and very limited facilities.

It is little more than a kilometre from haram but the walking to and from is very dangerous due to an unsafe road and busy road. They should have shuttle services but there was none! People smoke inside the bathroom and they don’t have any control of it made me sick from smoking inhalation which carried over from the bathroom fan to the other floor. I would say the stuff like room service man Ramadan is great and the Manager and the counter staff’s are good too.

It was a good 2 star Hotel. All room services are on demand/request. The property is located 10-12 minutes slightly uphill walk. It is nearest to new extension side of Haram. So people with walking issues/wheelchair, kids etc will find a little bit hard when going towards Haram. If you want to go inside Haram from Hotel then it may take 20 minutes depending on age group/health. Don't forget to bring your own Iron.

Je n'ai jamais vu un hotel pareil , les toilettes sont sale et leau de la douche ( qui je precise n'est pas séparé des toilettes) ne s'ecoule pas ! Le personnel ne sert a rien et avoir de leur part une serviette de bain est impossible Pour mes freres qui viennent accomplir leurs omra craignez Allah et ne séjournerez pas dans ces chambres crades.

Very bad experience at this hotel. We booked two rooms for our 3-generation family. Inconvenient location that requires an upwards hill to get to haram which is almost impossible for older folks. Close enough to haram entrance (10 minute walk going through the tunnel inside Hotel Anjum though on an upward slope) but the closest entrance is the new extension so it is very far from kaaba (25 minutes walk at least). One of the rooms was dirty when we checked in (lots of garbage on the floor) so the hotel switched us to a different room that had a malfunctioning Air Conditioning unit. The hotel took a long time to try (and fail) to fix the AC. Lots of smoking smell on the floor despite being a non-smoking hotel. Only one key given per room. Only positives were friendly staff and a working WiFI. We checked out after a day and a half of a 5-day stay since it was very inconvenient for our family. We mentioned these problems to the hotel when we checked out and contacted Orbitz right away to refund the remaining 3 nights. Unfortunately the hotel refused to refund us for the three nights we did not use (though they likely got other guests to our rooms for these nights). I would not even consider going there again.

How can a hotel be rated if there are no hangers or hooks for some one to hang their clothing and no benches or anything to rest suitcases. I asked a gentleman at the desk for some hangers and all he did was asked for the room number and said ok. The next day I was asking one of the staff about the hangers and was told they do not have any. I requested the room to be cleaned and all they did was just folded the sheets and left on the bed.asked for clean pillow cases and fresh towels that didn’t happen either. So I contacted another staff for the towels, he brought one towel and said they had no more. While the staff does the best in making you comfortable the same cannot be said for folks who owns or manages the facility. Not even a box of napkins or a couple of plastic cups. There are 3stars hotels in less developed cities with more amenities especially when considering the location of this place. I was told the restaurant is not happening either it’s been closed for some time. I felt like buying some hangers and donate to them as an insult.

Over all experience wasn’t the best with this hotel being close to Al haram I expected better service, arrived early and we were welcomed and got keys to rooms doors, then at room furniture were broken, trash was in the bathroom, then at night after we came back from the isha prayer went to the room and in the hallway it was smoking smell coming out of the room next door , called the front desk and they said they will send some one to check, I had a 8 month old baby in my room, then next day same thing happened even with signs all over the place saying no smoking, what got me upset is the I found out after the third time complaining about the cigarette smoke that one of the staff is the one in the room next door and I believe he was the manger and when I complained, he wanted me to move out of the room, really bad experience and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone to go through that. No room service for the first 2 nights and I had to call and go to front desk to request it on the third day.

Overall stay wasn’t too bad.. for what it’s worth and being very close to the Haram.. it’s in every good location. Rooms are little dated and the bathroom is a bit too small.. with no shower cubicle.. it’s a small wet room.. it gets a little messy after a shower, everything gets wet.. average cleanliness but can be improved. Staffs are very friendly and nice.. especially the concierge’s Basit and Ramadan, they were very helpful and made my stay satisfying. Ramadan went out of his way to bring me food and medications when I wasn’t feeling well. That was so nice of him, I really appreciate it. I did mentioned that to the hotel management and hope they get rewarded or at least acknowledgement…👍 I defo will recommend it to single travels or all groups…. For family with small children might not be the ideal hotel.. 👍

Very comfortable stay, close to the Harem with a short 5 minute walk. Very good friendly staff available at all times. WiFi connection was patchy at times and my room was not cleaned during my stay.

The staff were very nice and welcoming throughout different interactions. However, the condition of the hotel was not great. The beds were not clean. I was too tired and there for a short time to ask them to change it.

It waa pleasure staying twice in mecca city. Required some more maintenance in rooms i stayed in. Otherwise staff and reception staff was helpful. Would like to stay again if had a chance.

Price was reasonable but steep slope. Basically, better take a cab to go to haram for just SAR 5. Returning from Haram they charge more. Nina the receptionist speaks English and was very helpful and always provided good advice when i was looking for something. Shower and toilet seat in same washroom not separated by anything. Basically after a bath, water is everywhere. I took it like a cultural thing which didn't really bother me but can still be improved.

Over all experience wasn’t the best with this hotel being close to Al haram I expected better service, arrived early and we were welcomed and got keys to rooms doors, then at room furniture were broken, trash was in the bathroom, then at night after we came back from the isha prayer went to the room and in the hallway it was smoking smell coming out of the room next door , called the front desk and they said they will send some one to check, I had a 8 month old baby in my room, then next day same thing happened even with signs all over the place saying no smoking, what got me upset is the I found out after the third time complaining about the cigarette smoke that one of the staff is the one in the room next door and I believe he was the manger and when I complained, he wanted me to move out of the room, really bad experience and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone to go through that. No room service for the first 2 nights and I had to call and go to front desk to request it on the third day.

Overall stay wasn’t too bad.. for what it’s worth and being very close to the Haram.. it’s in every good location. Rooms are little dated and the bathroom is a bit too small.. with no shower cubicle.. it’s a small wet room.. it gets a little messy after a shower, everything gets wet.. average cleanliness but can be improved. Staffs are very friendly and nice.. especially the concierge’s Basit and Ramadan, they were very helpful and made my stay satisfying. Ramadan went out of his way to bring me food and medications when I wasn’t feeling well. That was so nice of him, I really appreciate it. I did mentioned that to the hotel management and hope they get rewarded or at least acknowledgement…👍 I defo will recommend it to single travels or all groups…. For family with small children might not be the ideal hotel.. 👍

Price was reasonable but steep slope. Basically, better take a cab to go to haram for just SAR 5. Returning from Haram they charge more. Nina the receptionist speaks English and was very helpful and always provided good advice when i was looking for something. Shower and toilet seat in same washroom not separated by anything. Basically after a bath, water is everywhere. I took it like a cultural thing which didn't really bother me but can still be improved.

It is little more than a kilometre from haram but the walking to and from is very dangerous due to an unsafe road and busy road. They should have shuttle services but there was none! People smoke inside the bathroom and they don’t have any control of it made me sick from smoking inhalation which carried over from the bathroom fan to the other floor. I would say the stuff like room service man Ramadan is great and the Manager and the counter staff’s are good too.

Very comfortable stay, close to the Harem with a short 5 minute walk. Very good friendly staff available at all times. WiFi connection was patchy at times and my room was not cleaned during my stay.

It was a good 2 star Hotel. All room services are on demand/request. The property is located 10-12 minutes slightly uphill walk. It is nearest to new extension side of Haram. So people with walking issues/wheelchair, kids etc will find a little bit hard when going towards Haram. If you want to go inside Haram from Hotel then it may take 20 minutes depending on age group/health. Don't forget to bring your own Iron.

I found bed bugs, place was dirty, they had no food service or restaurant in the hotel shower is literally in the toilet. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to stay there.

How can a hotel be rated if there are no hangers or hooks for some one to hang their clothing and no benches or anything to rest suitcases. I asked a gentleman at the desk for some hangers and all he did was asked for the room number and said ok. The next day I was asking one of the staff about the hangers and was told they do not have any. I requested the room to be cleaned and all they did was just folded the sheets and left on the bed.asked for clean pillow cases and fresh towels that didn’t happen either. So I contacted another staff for the towels, he brought one towel and said they had no more. While the staff does the best in making you comfortable the same cannot be said for folks who owns or manages the facility. Not even a box of napkins or a couple of plastic cups. There are 3stars hotels in less developed cities with more amenities especially when considering the location of this place. I was told the restaurant is not happening either it’s been closed for some time. I felt like buying some hangers and donate to them as an insult.

This small Hotel is 10 minutes walk to Haram, at the back of a hill (road is uphill and downhill) No restaurant. Refrigerator, TV , Air Conditioner are okay. Staff is friendly. Small insects exist in the bathroom.

This hotel is for those that don’t intend to spend too much time in the hotel. It has the basics and is walking distance to the Kaaba. The beds and the room are fine but the toilet with shower over (wet room) is just barely adequate. For a budget hotel, it does the job. We were only staying one night so it was fine. If you have kids, find somewhere else. The staff were helpful when I needed to print boarding passes.

Stayed in this hotel for a week during Ramadan. I'll give it a 7.5/10. Good things about this hotel - The location: The hotel is a 10 minutes walk to the Haram(if your young), the first walk until Anjum hotel is a upward slope and then from Anjum hotel the walk is easy since the hotel has escalators. The walk back to this hotel is also easy but time consuming especially in Ramadan. - Cleanliness: The hotel is clean overall. - Staff: The staff is amazing and very accommodating. The Arab guys working at the counter were understanding and they spoke English. On our last day when we asked them to check out late, they agreed. Also when we wanted to catch a taxi while checking out, one of the maintenance workers helped us get a taxi which was very kind. Bad things about this hotel - Room condition: Though not a big issues but the room had 2 flies when we arrived which we had to get out. The bedsheets although clean were burned somehow. The window never closed so you'd hear the outside world and cold air would seep into the room - Lack of images: When booking this hotel I forgot to check for images on the washroom, but to no surprise it makes sense why they don't add any washroom images. The washroom was hilariously small and the sick is outside the washroom. The washroom was clean but everything was very compact and when taking showers water would go everywhere. - No Iron: On expedia it says that this hotel provides Iron/Ironing Board on request, but hotel didn't give me any.
