The room was nice and clean. The rest of the hotel was a well. My only complaint was how small the fitness area was. The weight room was so tiny that it's super awkward if another person shows up to lift. The cardio room is a little cramped too. The gym was clean though, it just needs a more comfortable layout.

Overall this was good. We had a 2br/2bath suite that was advertised as 1king/2full but was actually 2queens. If the listing was corrected, it would help prevent unmet expectations. One bath had been recently renovated and one was older, and we had plumbing issues with both the tub and toilet. Maintenance came promptly and staff was polite and friendly. They fixed the issues as far as the remainder of our trip. I suspect if there were communication with cleaning staff and maintenance, this visit in the middle of our stay could have been prevented. The facility was clean but not as much as some of the Residence Inn or Marriott facilities that I have stayed in. There was an old note behind the bed from another guest that had been there a very long time, that I found when plugging in devices as well as a few other signs of a lack of attention. Otherwise, staff was great, breakfast was decent, charging plugs were convenient, kitchen was nice but we didn't use anything but the refrigerator. There is not enough parking if the facility is "full" and we had to park at another lot nearby several nights when we returned. This was not convenient. The surrounding area is natural wetlands with a small amount of wildlife, which was nice. Target and Starbucks are nearby as is the freeway access. Overall I would stay here again.

We liked everything about Residence Inn but there could have been a bigger parking lot. We had to park in "additional hotel parking" twice after getting back in the evening. It wasn't like it was far away, but it was raining that night and it was a short walk.

The Residence Inn was safe, quite, and conveniently located about 10 miles north of Boston. The indoor pool is small, but clean. There are two small workout rooms for running and weight lifting. The room was clean, but my son said the pullout couch bed was not comfortable on his back. The breakfast was your standard included breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, waffle-maker, yogurt, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee, etc.

Before we even walked in, there were multiple groups of people smoking right by the main doorway, you could smell it throughout the lobby When we got to the room, it seemed fine but when we opened the sofa bed there were bedbugs, alive, on the mattress. The front desk clerk was nice, clearly overwhelmed at being the only person on staff on a busy Saturday night, but he was accommodating and kind despite the incident. We were refunded our money and at 8:30 pm on the weekend of the Boston Marathon, had to find another place to stay.

We felt safe in this location and it was in great proximity to major areas (e.g., Boston, Salem). The staff were lovely and parking was convenient. However, we had the following concerns with the state of the suite: -booked a King suite and were provided with a double bed instead -bedskirt had a few copper stains on it resembling old blood. Also existed on the carpet directly beneath the stain on the bedskirt. -shower drain was closed and tub had water in it upon arrival. -hairs all over the tub and bathroom floor upon our arrival. -large cobwebs on ceiling. -bedding looked sat on upon arrival (e.g., did not appear crisp/fresh). -shower faucet ran if suite above us used shower -could hear all plumbing activities from above suite. -toilet paper holder loose from wall screw, hung diagonally causing toilet paper roll to fall off frequently. -grime on bathroom tiles -grime on shower curtains

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The property was extremely clean and I loved the spacious, updated rooms. I especially likes having the full size refrigerator in the kitchenette. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and welcoming. Also, the breakfast area was always clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

Buffet breakfast was great serving scrambled eggs and a meat choice daily along with good variety of cereals and pastries and some fruit. Location is very central and easy for travelling to Salem and Boston areas by car; additionally there is a commuter station within 5 minute walk providing train access to downtown Boston (only $7 return for seniors). You can park your car at the station for only $4 daily if you don’t want to walk. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Room servicing is only every two days. We had the queen room with separate sleeping area and kitchenette and it was great.

Wish housekeeping would have been better. Stayed 4 nights and requested 2 times for housekeeping. Didnt happen. Ran out of towels and toliet paper. Plus used towels on floor in small bathroom made it a struggle for the 3 of us.

I booked a one bedroom suite because there was four of us. When we got there it was not a one bedroom suite it was a room with a bed and a couch several tables. Not much room and no actual bedroom. A little deceiving. Ive stayed there twice in the past and never had a problem. The staff was all great though

We spent three wonderful weeks at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Woburn, Boston, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, stovetop, full-sized fridge, and dishwasher – perfect for a longer stay. Each morning, we enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast, which offered a wide variety of options including the popular make-your-own waffles. The rotating menu kept things interesting, and the fresh coffee was a daily highlight. The staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Sam Valentine at the front desk for his friendly and helpful service, Chuck the valet driver for his warm welcome and reliability, and Michael Bisonette, the manager, for overseeing such a well-run hotel. We will definitely return the next time we’re in Boston and plan to choose Residence Inns in other parts of the USA too. It’s just a pity we don’t have hotels like this back in the UK. I rented 3 suites. There was a couple across the hall screaming and fighting. Very loud. And their DOG would not stop barking keeping my grandkids awake. The rooms were nice but the bathroom was in a weird place. If other people were sleeping on the sofa bed they had to come into the bedroom to go to the bathroom. There was 1 hook on the door in the whole room. Hang 1 towel and no where else to hang unless you put it in the closet.

This was a great location just outside of Boston. We were able to easily get to all of the places we wanted to visit while not being right in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioning failed in our room nearly even night of our stay and an engineer had to be sent out at least 3-4 times to repair it. This was our second time staying here, so obviously we enjoyed our stay last time, and will definitely be returning next year for our annual trip to see friends. The rooms are always clean. Location is perfect right off the highway with lots of options for dining around the area. Only problem we had was with check in. Granted we did arrive early, and if we were told we were too early we had things to do until our room was ready. With that being said the downer was the mobile app didnt work for check in. I totally get technical glitches happen. When we arrived to check in the person checking us in was kind of rude. She asked if we did mobile check in and when I told her it didn't work, she questioned why I didn't just call the hotel. Had we known to call we would have.

Overall this was good. We had a 2br/2bath suite that was advertised as 1king/2full but was actually 2queens. If the listing was corrected, it would help prevent unmet expectations. One bath had been recently renovated and one was older, and we had plumbing issues with both the tub and toilet. Maintenance came promptly and staff was polite and friendly. They fixed the issues as far as the remainder of our trip. I suspect if there were communication with cleaning staff and maintenance, this visit in the middle of our stay could have been prevented. The facility was clean but not as much as some of the Residence Inn or Marriott facilities that I have stayed in. There was an old note behind the bed from another guest that had been there a very long time, that I found when plugging in devices as well as a few other signs of a lack of attention. Otherwise, staff was great, breakfast was decent, charging plugs were convenient, kitchen was nice but we didn't use anything but the refrigerator. There is not enough parking if the facility is "full" and we had to park at another lot nearby several nights when we returned. This was not convenient. The surrounding area is natural wetlands with a small amount of wildlife, which was nice. Target and Starbucks are nearby as is the freeway access. Overall I would stay here again.

Despite making our reservation well in advance, we were told at the last minute and without an explanation that the hotel could not accommodate us and that we would have to stay at a different hotel, which was not comparable and did not include breakfast. Thus, the cost of our stay increased by about one third. When I contacted management to discuss the issue, I did not receive a response. We have stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Woburn numerous times and really like the hotel. Needless to say, it was disappointing to see the company treat a repeat customer in this manner.

The Residence Inn was safe, quite, and conveniently located about 10 miles north of Boston. The indoor pool is small, but clean. There are two small workout rooms for running and weight lifting. The room was clean, but my son said the pullout couch bed was not comfortable on his back. The breakfast was your standard included breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, waffle-maker, yogurt, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee, etc.

Second trip now where my room had a real funk smell to it… enough that I really can’t be booking here again I am afraid. The king bed I was in was also VERY run down - like a hammock. Think it’s time they refreshed the carpets and did a refresh on the furnishings.
