Mandarin Hotel Managed by Centre Point

The hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. It was unfortunate that there was no lounge or bar to relax and enjoy a drink on site.

Dated, rooms very basic. Pool area poor, no direct light, over shadowed by buildings. Breakfast not good.

Very happy with my stay here. The breakfast buffet was great and there's a separate restaurant that serves delicious food and room service. There are two malls across the street and easy access to MRT. There's also a spa in the hotel that we got massages from. Lovely stay and the staff is beyond friendly. They went above and beyond to accomodate all needs.

Amenities, Breakfast, Restaurant, spa, complementary shuttle service and toiletries/goodies in the room; every thing was excellent. They even broke cash in the front desk. Location also near the train station.

Street noise made it hard to sleep. No bar for a late night drink.

Clean rooms, lovely staff, great location, good facilities (spa, pool, workout room). I recommend this hotel, for solo travelers, and families alike

Really enjoyed our 5 night stay, every single interaction with staff on reception, breakfast crew, gym/pool staff, cleaning staff was 10/10 service, nothing was too much. Just across the road from the mall, we walked to/from MBK every day as this was the drop off point for tours. Gym was very nice with very cool towels in the fridge. Didn't use the pool but it looked very big. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Thank you staff for our great stay and look forward to coming back.

Les photos ne reflètent pas totalement cet hôtel. Piscine quais en totalité à l’ombre toute la journée. Le petit déjeuner est très moyen (beaucoup trop de salé à mon goût). La wifi fonctionne très mal et la localisation de cet hôtel est très moyenne.

Almost Everything excellent. But the Pool area is overshadowed by the biggest ventilation ducted system I have ever seen. Couldn’t relax there as the noise from it was very noisy

We enjoyed our stay but sadly for not feel that the hotel is a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was disappointing (The coffee from the machines was terrible. As vegetarians we were unimpressed. The pool area was very shaded and cold. Check in was good and prompt and staff were good but we felt lacked friendliness (All felt a little forced) The corridors are clean but needs decorating. Bashed skirting and door surrounds makes it lose a 5 star rating . The area surrounding the hotel was up and coming but you needed to walk a distance to get to where you wanted to be . We enjoyed it but. It our favourite stay

Clean room and good spa

The hotel In it self was very good. The pleasant staff was the best thing about the stay. But the rooms was not up to the standard of the hotel. The first room I got, the bathroom was dirty. So I asked to change the room, that was no problem- but the new room I got also was dirty. There was multiple places there was spots on the bed of some dried liquid. The doorhandle to the bathtub was coverd in this black stuff? I tried removing some of it and it was removeable, so the cleaning is not good. But overall a good experience

The room was clean, the staff was very nice and the hotel is in great location.

Pepsi and cup noodles were provided as a free minibar, but there were no forks or chopsticks in the room, so we could not eat them. Also, half of the food provided was old and expired. The showers and sinks were generally old and the drains were poorly drained.

Staff is amazing. They are helpful and courteous. Location is superb - across the street from MRT. Common areas of the hotel are beautiful. The rooms are a bit rundown though. Our maid did an amazing job keeping our room clean everyday.

The room was old. It smelled and the dirty. The water in the shower was leaking.

In the first room we stay, the air conditioner was stopped automatically after switch on for a while. Also the signal of the TV was not good and the TV's screen just freeze or even turn off by itself. The microwave oven's light was not functioning while it is in operation. Although the hotel changed another room for us, the signal of TV didn't improve much. The screen still freeze after it switch on for sometime.

The room is clean yet I found a fake eye lash on the bed. So I put a request to change bed linen before I went for shopping. There is no disposable comb and face towel. There is the toothbrush set, cotton pad. I encountered some issue with their auto curtain and it power trip our room electricity. But staff from reception managed to reset and the technician came in to fix the auto curtain. This happened around 1am+ on 2nd night. So it’s resolved but the auto curtain issue did come back. So I totally keep the curtain always down to avoid it can’t stop on its own when I activate the curtain to see outside window. One of power point with usb not working or maybe too low power type. So we had to switch to travel adapter instead. There is no laundry line in bathroom. So when we wash some clothes we face problem hanging in the room and bathroom. I always smell the toilet with body odour smell. It will go way after shower but come back when the shower fragrance are gone. There is a hairdryer but it’s smell. So we did use it. Room w breakfast - pretty good variety but repeat daily with 1-2 change of dishes. So its boring esp ate for 7 days. Samyan Mitrtown need to cross the road (unsheltered) about 6 lanes (2 way road). If no rain it’s easy. If heavy rain. It tend to flood on the side at the shopping mall side. MRT BL27 Samyan is around 10mins - no shelter. Hotel has shuttle service 1 way with 3 routes fixed timing and reserve in adv -it’s free. Main tower is too near road - noisy

Room is spacious and clean. Design is a bit old and tired

The hotel was lovely. Very elegant and welcominging. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The twin room was large enough for me and my friend and the bathroom was nice. There was a huge choice of food for breakfast. The hotel is opposite an huge shopping mall with many places to eat. The Metro is just a 5 minute walk away. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

The lobby of the hotel looked fabulous but the hallway and rooms are outdated and need to be maintained.

The mandarin is a great budget hotel. The lobby is beautiful as you walk in. The rooms are small and simple, nothing fancy. They get the job done and are a comfortable space to end your days in Bangkok. Room service ends at 9:45 pm and there is no bar in the hotel, which was a bit of a bummer. But for the price we spent, we were very happy with our time at the Mandarin.

The hotel was okay. Nothing special. The room was spacious and had good amenities, including the free items in the mini-bar (cans of soft drink, water and some noodle soup cups). However, as the halls are bare and the floors areall tile, it can be very noisy by other guests.

The lobby looked amazing, all the event rooms, etc. however once we got to our floor where the rooms were it was instantly a different vibe. Very cold feeling, long echo-y hallways. Our room felt the same, all white including the floor, some furniture missing. The windows were high up, like a prison cell. We didn't feel comfortable at all here.

Modern entrance/lobby but tired building inside. Very good hotel if you want to be close to shopping malls and have access to nearby local markets. Comfortable room and great guest services. 1. Rooms -- Firm bed, prompt response to room requests (e.g. an extra toilet paper). Reasonably quiet, though occasional traffic noise from outside. Reasonably clean but if you're expecting 5-star hotel level of impeccable cleanliness, you're not going to get it here. 2. Location -- Couldn't ask for a better location - There are multiple shopping malls (including supermarkets) within 3-10 minutes' walking distance, as well as good options for affordable Thai massages. 3. Food/drinks -- Filtered cold water and cantaloupe tea are available in the hotel lobby.

I chose this hotel based on positive reviews, but unfortunately, the negative ones felt closer to our reality. The experience was off from the start, with a rude and condescending receptionist, and a generally unwelcoming front desk staff. They didn’t smile or greet us during our stay, making every interaction feel cold. The breakfast staff was no better—no acknowledgment, just a quick request for our room number, then back to chatting among themselves. The lack of warmth was striking. The room seemed clean at first, but had a persistent musty smell that lingered throughout our stay. The same odor filled the hallways and elevators, though the lobby smelled fine, highlighting the lack of upkeep elsewhere. Additionally, poor soundproofing meant we could hear everything—hallway noise, neighbors, and footsteps above us—making it hard to rest. The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, with repetitive, bland food and limited options. However, a few staff members stood out. The housekeeper was incredibly kind, and the doormen were always helpful. The hotel’s location, near a mall and attractions, was a plus. Overall, the hotel has potential but needs significant improvements in staff attitude, hospitality, and guest experience.

事件さえなければ、評価はとても高かったホテルです。 滞在中に清掃員に5万円を盗まれてしまいました。 普段はセキュリティポーチに入れて胸から下げているのですが、その日に限ってそれを忘れてしまい、部屋に置いたポーチからお金が抜き取られていました。 ホテル側の立場として、盗難を認めることは難しいのは理解していますし、証拠も不十分だったと思います。 ただ、最初に謝罪すらなかったことがとても残念でした。 翌日になって、別のマネージャー2名が謝罪してくださり、エグゼクティブルームへのアップグレード、フルーツ盛り合わせの提供、保険用書類の作成など、誠意あるアフターケアをしていただきました。 「盗まれた」という私の話を信じてくれているのだと思い、少し救われました。 事件がなければ、立地も設備も申し分ないホテルだったと思います。 ただ、最初のマネージャーに「我々はやっていないので、警察に言ってください」と言われたのは正直、悲しかったです。 それでも、後日の丁寧な対応はありがたかったです。

目の前には地下鉄駅直結のサムヤーンミッドタウンっていう新しい商業ビルがあり、買い物や食事もそこそこ完結できます。 10分ほど歩けば、タニヤ通りや、パッポンナイトマーケットなど、清潔面や治安面にやや不安がある場所ですが、出店がたくさん出ているタイらしい光景を見ることができます。 その他、チャオプラヤー川沿いの有名な寺院らや、日本で言う新宿っぽいサイアム駅周辺も比較的近い距離にあり、それぞれ10〜20分でのタクシー移動が可能です。 タイで大学ランクトップのチュラロンコン大学がすぐ近くに立地していることもあり、周辺の治安は非常によくて、清潔感も高い方だと思います。 ホテルの部屋や共有設備については、綺麗なホテルという感じでした。従業員の方々は、皆親切でフレンドリーでした。

I love this property because its situationally located near the metro, easy access to everything. The room are spacious and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the food at the breakfast buffet and the food at the restaurant , my personal favorite food from their restaurant was the Crab fried rice.

Easy access to public transport and shopping centre. Helpful staff and good service. Coffee at breakfast is not great but a huge selection of a variety of food. Highly recommended.

駅からも近く、まわりにスーパーやショッピングモールもあり便利な立地でした。フロントスタッフも皆さん感じ良く丁寧に対応してくれて、客室も清掃が行き届いていました。朝食も種類豊富で美味しくて、会場も清潔感があり、とても満足できました。チェックアウト後も荷物を預かってくれて大変助かりました。
