Bed blankets were not that clean. Also, there were no ways to properly dry towels because there were no hangers in the room. Lastly, the most critical point was that water stopped for some time while taking a shower. I couldn’t record it being covered in water, but I think this issue seriously needs to be handled properly. Otherwise, the place was okay considering the price.

Between lessons from colleagues who work at one of the highest ranked hospitality institutions in the world to my work in housing rights advocacy, STAY is the model of nickel and diming a stay for the owner's best interest. While my complains are exhaustive, I will keep it brief. I paid for a stay, not to consult a business owner on how to improve their stay. I will upload photos as evidence. From the paint peeling on the ceiling, the 24/7 response where Ai and volunteers responded without using the thread as context; the quiet hours NOT respected; the LACK of notification regarding updates UNTIL I ASKED FOR THEM; the blocked stairway downstairs; the dirty walls; the incomplete door frame; the poor lighting to leave in the newly directed way; I am not sure why they were permitted to conduct business given the extensive work underway. Doubling the size of a small business was not JUST construction. The fact that they provided a translation of the rating system reinforced that they were more interested in having guests pay to teach them instead of providing us a place to stay and work on what we needed to work on. The signs saying pardoning the dust do not account for unfinished doors, minimally communicated plumbing concerns. NOTIFYING ME of construction ONLY AFTER i signed the contract is telling.

As to be expected for the price. Wifi was slow - had trouble streaming anything on TV or on phone. Room private and quiet enough. Clean sheets.
