I was highly disappointed in the parking accommodations. Considering the price you pay for self-parking which was $75 a night I would not expect to have to park on a lower level with no elevator access. You have to climb to floor if stairs with your belongings and only then can you access the hotel elevator. Parking is extremely stressful, tight, and expensive. I was not pleased as all!

The lake view is amazing!!! Rooms are nice although the shower is nearly impossible to get into with water already on as there is no direction to turn the head where water doesn't get out all over the floor. Service was great and their gym is awesome for a hotel and it's the penthouse. The mattress on the bed could be updated. It was squeeky and a bit lumpy. I was sore in the morning. They do charge some suprise hidden fees and the cost of valet is outrageous at $87 a night. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

By far the worst "4-star" hotel I have ever stayed in. Their advertisements on Google and Hotels.com are wrong. Their is no spa or health club, as listed on the sites. Stayed in a suite, and they wanted to charge me to just bring me glasses. I have never been charged in any hotel for a thing like that. I wonder whether that charge would also exist for towels. The gym is incredibly small. The bathroom needs an update. They are grossly understaffed!! They either need a better check-in system for peak times or more employees on staff during those times. This didn't happen during my check-in, but I just went downstairs, and the line is so long that it could reach the front door. They provide no information on the "vitality fitness classes" that are apparently included in your urban experience fee. They don't allow pre-orders of breakfast room service as almost every other 4 and 5 star does. The Swissotel website is not navigable. Apparently, they have a romance package, but you can only view it through the website, which works as though it was created by a ten year old, so you can't actually view it. The view and the restaurant's food are what saved this hotel in my eyes. They were the only things that weren't disappointments, and one of those is the result of being in a beautiful city, so they can't really take much credit for that.

This stay was for a Mother/Son annual Cubs outing. Location is great and allows for maximum walkability. We were able to walk there from ORD blue line train and to red line for Wrigleyville. Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms are nice size and clean. We had a partial view of the lake which was amazing. This was the best hotel gym I’ve been in and I regularly stay at 4/5 star hotels. Overall, an excellent experience and will definitely stay there again on upcoming trips.

Got in at 4pm on Friday and only had 2 peole checking in. Room was clean. Valet service was great. Full beds are way too small and the sheets/bedding were not good as there were like 4 flat aheets that got tangled. Beware elevaters need you to enter floor number BEFORE you get on. More efficient, but super confusing at first.

Everything was good except bedding. Sheets and pillow were clean. However, we smelled urine under cover. We immediately ask the front to change room. Assuming the guest before us has urine accident then house keeper didn’t check/change mattress pad and mattress. Seems like they just changed a new clean sheets over wet mattress pad and mattress. Disappointed.

Great location with very nice views from the room. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I would stay here again. The only negatives were that the grab and go breakfast is not very good, especially for the price. I would recommend getting breakfast somewhere outside the hotel. Also, my room had an annoying high-pitched sound that was off-and-on all night that seemed to be coming from the HVAC, but I did not experience this in a different room.

The hotel is a great hotel. I stayed there many times the room is clean. The problem is and I hope you guys go check it out. My room was extremely hot even when I had it at 65°. It was extremely hot. There has an HVAC issue the problem is obviously I’m not in my room all day I’m out and about and then I come back in the night. It was kind of warm and I hope you guys go check out this room cause it was really uncomfortable and I hope you guys don’t go through this with other people. I should be calling Swiss hotel, letting them know But yeah you guys should check it out. Check it out 3614 is the unit extremely extremely extremely uncomfortable at night. Everything else about the hotel is great but this technical issue of the HVAC and pretty much ruined. My experience and one of the concierge was extremely rude when I spoke to him on the phone, but I guess that’s just normal.

The hotel has an excellent location, and the staff were very professional and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised when our check-in was arranged earlier than expected, which was a wonderful start to our stay. That said, there were two major drawbacks. First, our room was located directly behind three of the hotel’s elevators. The constant noise from the elevators made it extremely difficult to sleep at night. I would strongly advise avoiding rooms ending in “1” on any floor, as they are positioned right behind the elevators. There seems to be another section of rooms behind a different set of three elevators as well, which likely have the same issue. Second, the televisions in the rooms are quite outdated. They do not support apps or phone connectivity, which was inconvenient. Overall, while the location and service were excellent, the noise issue and outdated TVs significantly impacted our experience.

If you care about where you stay and your accommodations, book somewhere else. I booked a prepaid, nonrefundable stay for my anniversary. When we arrive, we had to wait 15 minutes to check in before being told they overbooked and didn't have a room for us. We were promised the director of front office would reach out in regards to a refund, travel reimbursement and rebooking, but no one has reached out and I continue to follow up unsuccessfully.

First time at this hotel and i really enjoyed it! The room was very nice and had many windows with views of the city and the water. Navy pier was only a 28 min walk from there. The parking is a little pricey but there are parking garages around there as well. We did overnight parking since we were not planning on driving around. It’s a very nice hotel very clean and quiet. Will be booking here again!
