Only 1 elevator was seemingly working so it took like 10 minutes every time you wanted to use one. People in the hallways were so noisy and slamming doors at all hours and the general look and appearance of the hotel seemed worse for wear. Definitely need to invest in some major renovations and upgrades.

The main reason I picked this hotel was because of the shuttle from the airport to it, and from it back to the airport. And the Shuttle was a big issue for me. We had to wait over an hour for it before leaving the airport. And when we needed to leave to get to the airport to make our flight, the shuttle could not be found. There were like 12 people in the entryway/outside relying on it. Finally after waiting 15-20 minutes about 7 people got into their own “Uber/Lyft” to make sure they didn’t miss their own flights. There was no one to point us to the shuttle, just the guy at the desk saying “yep the shuttle leaves at the top and bottom of the hour.” It wouldn’t be so disturbing, but I got up at 4:20am to make sure I could get on that first shuttle, and by everyone neglecting their job it left a dozen or so guests tired, mad, and stressed that they’d miss their flights. It’s unacceptable in my eyes. And I will never stay at this hotel again, and recommend that everyone to avoid it unless they have other, actual reliable, transportation.

Overall was a fine stay. We got to the hotel around 8:30 PM. Originally the room we were put into had the couch cushion pulled out and leaned up against the best (maybe for spot cleaning?). We then noticed none of the trashes had been emptied. The final straw to request a new room was when we noticed that 2 drawers in the room were completely stuffed with what looked like used towels. The front desk staff was very accommodating and immediately moved us to a new room. The rest of the stay was fine.

The room looked like it hadn't been used I'm a long time. There was a bunch of trash on the carpet and behind the refrigerator. The room and vents hasn't been dust in a long time. When the heat finally came on dust and bugs came flying out of the two big vents.

Unfortunately, our room smelled like urine when we arrived. We sprayed air fresheners each time we came and went. It was a busy weekend in the area so there was nothing else available for us. Housekeeping never came in while we went out for the day, stayed 4 nights and each day we left our room before 9am, and didn’t return till later at night.

Everything was good with the exception of the musty smell when I walked in the room. I thought maybe it was just my room but it was not. I stayed on the 12th floor and family stayed in the 10th floor when I walked into their room the musty smell was even stronger. The pool was nice and clean. Enjoyed the stay but they need to do something about that musty smell.

All in all it was a typical hotel near an airport. Nothing fancy and its definitely showing its age.The plus for it was the location as I was attending a show at the Rosemont Theater which was literally across the street. Noise wise, there wasn't excessive noise but one of the amenties in their listing, and a reason I chose this hotel, was the listing stated soundproofed rooms. But I heard everyone walking in the hall, all the airplanes, and even the elevator dinging several rooms away. The "blanket" on the bed was about the thickness of 2 sheets. Also I know weed is legal in Illinois but the hallways reeked of it. I dont know if people were smoking in the hotel or just so much while out that it just emanated off them and lingered in the halls. I probably will pick a different place next time I'm in the area.

Hotel has been upgraded at least room wise. Hallways around rooms and lobby still could use a bit of a face lift. Website lists 4 restaurants for the hotel. There are only 2. Very noisy housekeeping workers and just noisy in General between the airport, the road, housekeeping and other guests. I’ve stayed in worse places by all means. Just not sure this one would be my first choice when I’m in Rosemont again.

I had a great long distance view of the Chicago skyline. Our King Suite was beautiful. Loved being on a corner. Restaurants and breakfast were very nice. Great staff! Will definitely stay again on my next visit.

restaurant food and service was excellent. front desk was excellent. i was just surprised by the quality of the room. furniture was old and banged up and didn't match. 2 of the lamps in the room did not work. the price was decent but it wasn't so cheap that these things didn't matter to me. also i was confused as the front desk did tell me that he would include parking in the price i paid, but upon exiting the parking lot i was charged the full rate and then not given a receipt. i pushed the call button and waited but there was no sound or any indication that it even worked. that was disappointing and i hope i wasn't charged twice for one night of parking.

I enjoyed my very short one-night stay at the Crowne Plaza Chicago Ohare Hotel & Conf Ctr. Staff was welcoming and the food from the bar was delicious. I was super tired and fell asleep fast in the very comfy king bed. The room and bathroom were clean, and I was able to shuttle to the airport in 15 minutes the next morning. Just one thing I found odd was the small size of the TV above the dresser. The rest was a 5 star!

Approximately 5 min walk to everything (Fashion outlet, Restaurant District), 10 min walk to CTA blue line Goes to o’Hare airport or downtown Chicago). Only con. Hotel was very good, close to airport, but not affected by any noise. Could see the planes landing on one runway fairly close to hotel. Room was very good, comfortable and clean. Access to Chicago downtown was easy via CTA from O Hare via hotel shuttle or Rosemont, walkable in 15 minutes, or by Uber in a few minutes.

Came here for a concert. The venue is right next door/ across the street. It’s also a 5 minute walk from the mall. It’s a great location. The staff were friendly, letting me check in about an hour early. Rooms are nice and clean. Quiet location. Will probably book here again for future concerts.

Hotel was decent. My only complaint is that breakfast does not come with your stay and is extremely expensive. My wife and I ate breakfast at the hotel and it was $50+ for us two. Nothing spectacular, food- wise either, eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, French toast, etc. So was disappointed by that because definitely not worth what you pay.

Eating here is confusing. We though that the in house restaurant was always open. Nobody informed us it was just their breakfast place. It was just weird. We walked up to the hostess and said two please. She's like we closed at 11. At the time we were very confused! She never mentioned that it was breakfast so we ended up eating at Murray's which was okay. Murray's is owned by Bill Murray and his brother. It's themed after the film Caddyshack. That was Crown Plazas saving grace though! My advice is for Crown Plaza to fix their own in house eatery!

Overall the property and room are pretty good. However, be aware they charge an additional $29 for parking each night. Expedia also does not disclose this under all taxes and fees included. It’s apparently in the fine print somewhere. There are two restaurants on site. I did not try caddy shack.. I did try the Chicago fire oven pizza. I got a pizza for about 30 bucks after tax. The pizza was not good at all kind of tasted like cardboard.

Only stayed one night for a concert. Great experience, staff was very helpful, restaurant on site had delicious pizza, it was a little warm sitting to eat as it is next to the pool area and a bit boo from the kids in the pool but overall a great stay. The only thing that isn’t great is the $30 parking fee that you have to pay additionally.

We stayed here the night before our flight home. The stay itself was fine, but the airport shuttle was disappointing. Instead of taking us to Terminal 3, the driver didn't want to make the stop and asked my wife and me to get off at Terminal 2. We had to walk about 5–10 minutes to Terminal 3 carrying two large and two small suitcases. It wasn't a disaster, but it was unnecessary and inconvenient. Dropping guests at the correct terminal is the most basic part of an airport shuttle service, and management should address this with their drivers.

Great Location, but Some Issues During Our Stay The location of the Crowne Plaza in Rosemont was excellent and very convenient for getting around the area. The staff were friendly and pleasant, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the hotel itself could use some TLC. Much of the furniture was worn and could use updating. The biggest issue during our stay was the elevators. There were several high school marching bands and their families staying at the hotel, and on our first night, the wait for an elevator was at least 30 minutes because only two of the five elevators were working. By Sunday, only one elevator was operational, making getting around the hotel even more challenging. My recommendation to future guests: Before booking, ask the hotel what groups or events are scheduled during your stay and confirm how many elevators are operational. Large groups combined with limited elevator service made for a frustrating experience. Overall, the location and friendly staff were positives, but the condition of the hotel and the elevator situation definitely took away from our stay. With some updates and better elevator maintenance, this hotel could offer a much better guest experience.
