Karma is extremely picturesque, the design and detail throughout the resort is outstanding. Staff are willing to help, and very attentive. Rooms are beautiful - we recommend booking one with a private plunge pool as this was the perfect place to cool off. Spa services were quite expensive, but there is a cheaper option for massages just in front of the pool. Pool itself was perfect, with comfy options for lounging and a great ambience set by the resorts constant music. Restaurant and breakfast was satisfactory, nothing crazy - but good. But the view and vibes from the restaurant was very relaxing. Overall, you definitely get what you pay for here.

Quiet and peaceful, with excellent and friendly staff. Walking distance to Fisherman’s Village, without the sounds of it being on your doorstep. Our room, with its own pool, was only 50m from the beach, following a gorgeous tree lined pathway. Highly recommended.

So glad I picked this resort, it’s small but the grounds are ridiculously beautiful and detailed, infinity pool with beds and restaurant on beach really nice as well. Absolutely loved the room, very cool setup and roomy and loved the indoor outdoor shower. Easy walk down the beach to fisherman’s village and the happening bars at night. Walked entire beach area and felt this was the best place to stay other than maybe Anatara which is easily two times the price. This had better boutique feel to it though. Also awesome $12 hour Thai messages by the pool!

Et virkelig fint ophold. Flot værelse, gode faciliteter og med rimelig afstand til fishermans village. Det eneste minus var mængden af udefrakommende gæster på et one-day pass som gjorde pool området lidt crowded.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience here! We even tried to stay an extra night but they didn’t have availability. The resort was in excellent condition and the staff were always friendly. Having the restaurant right there was so convenient! My only recommendation would be for the resort to get plastic cocktail cups… you cannot take glass into the pool (understandably so), but would’ve been nice to have the option.

It is a beautiful resort and we did enjoy our stay very much but it does have some quite strong negatives too. We went away as a couple and as its a boutique hotel we were quite surprised by the amount of children there. Very noisy children. The biggest negative is that people can just come in and use the pool and sunbeds, which really should be for paying guests, therefore some days you come back after a day out and there is no room by the pool. The hotel bar and restaurant appears to be a club house for french visitors who are not staying at the hotel and they take over a large area of the pool area. We found quite often you are relaxing by the pool then suddenly big crowds arrive and the pool is suddenly full of unattended children and lots of toys. You couldnt get in even if you wanted to. We would go back to our room earlier than we would have liked just to get some peace. For such a small resort it seems unfair to the guests who have paid to stay to feel unwelcome by the pool. The rooms are superb and the shower was amazing. We liked having our own small pool to cool down especially, as sometimes it was our only option as there was no spaces by the main pool. The ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful as was the lovely lady in the restaurant. We enjoyed our holiday very much as you are near the fisherman's village and short cab rides to other great places on the island but I was disappointed by the lack of courtesy given to the residents in the hotel.

Cozy and perfect hotel on the beach in Bophut. All rooms have unique names. We chose a room with a small pool. The restaurant has good food and wine options. The main pool and the beach is lovely. We will be back next year.

Sehr sauberes und ruhiges Resort. Tolles Ambiente und tolles Essen. Regelmäßig wurde unser eigener Pool und das Zimmer gereinigt. Unglaublich aufmerksames und nettes Personal. Sehr gut gepflegte Anlage. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke!

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen – das gesamte Team war über unseren gesamten Aufenthalt hinweg zuvorkommend, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war modern, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Hoteldesign, welches überall bis ins Detail zu finden war.

写真通りの素晴らしいホテル。部屋に案内された瞬間、すぐに気に入りました。 部屋のプールも清潔で、とても良かった。 仕方ないかもしれないがバスルームの洗面台に小さな蟻が少しだけ列を成していた。 バスルームに設置されたアロマに反応している様子だったが、私が持ってきたバス用品にも蟻が来てしまった。 置きっぱなしにしたタオルにも蟻が付いたようで、使った時に身体を噛まれたような感覚があった。 ホテルのレストランは最高で、おいしい。 海やプールを眺めるには最高のロケーションだった。 目の前のビーチは泳げるけど、綺麗ではなく残念ながら透明感が無かったので一度しか泳がなかなったが、ビーチェアとパラソルがあるので、季節が違えば透明度の高い海に入れたのかもしれない。 滞在中にスパに行き、ホットストーンの施術を受けたが、 石が熱すぎた。 チェックアウト時に、早朝にホテルを出なければならず フロントの営業が朝7時〜だったので、前日に精算を済ませた。 朝食ボックスを用意すると言われたが、私は英語が理解出来ておらず、実際チェックアウト時にはフロントには誰もいなくて、鍵も何処に返せば良いか分から無かったので、部屋にそのまま置いてきた。 作ってくれた朝食が、無駄になってしまったのは申し訳無かった。

We are a family of 6 and have been travelling around Thailand for 4 weeks. We had the pleasure of staying here for a week. It has been the best hotel measured in all parameters! Fantastic service, cleaning and condition of the hotel. Staff are very friendly and service minded!

The resort location was nice as the neighborhood was walkable and had a lot of great restaurants nearby. We also really enjoyed the pool and restaurant at Karma. The room itself, however, left a lot to be desired. It looks beautiful in the photos with the outdoor shower and rustic vibe, but in reality, the bathroom was quite gross. The only "window" in the bathroom was the door to the outdoor shower, which we had to keep closed out of concern for mosquitoes. Even then, the glass door for the outdoor shower did not have a gasket, so we had to keep the main bathroom door to the bedroom closed at all times to ensure that we did not get bugs in the bedroom. Because of this, the bathroom stayed very smelly and wet the entire time. Also, the indoor shower does not have any enclosures and the drain was very slow, so the entire bathroom floor stayed wet the entire time, including the area around the toilet and sink. It sounds like a small thing, but getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and having wet/dirty feet every time felt really unsanitary. We were here for our honeymoon and had hoped for something more luxurious than this.

Kleines ,architektonisch sehr schön angelegtes Hotel an einem sehr schönen Strandabschnitt von BoPhut. Bis zum Trubel nach Fishermans Village ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Zimmer und Terrasse sind schön groß. Kleine Reparaturen wären fällig. Die Außendusche war einfach super. Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen war sehr gut. Die Cocktails waren unschlagbar. Da es ein öffentliches Restaurant ist, war es ab Mittag leider sehr voll und laut am Pool. Die Liegen werden auch an Gäste von außerhalb vergeben. Sehr beliebt bei Familien mit kleinen Kindern, die natürlich den Pool mitbenutzt haben. Also am Nachmittag Beachclubatmosphäre!

The hotel is beautiful and in a good location. We liked the breakfast options available. However, the room amenities are lacking. There are no drawers or shelves in the wardrobe. No hooks or make-up mirror in the bathroom. We would recommend pre-booking a sunbed.

So glad I picked this resort, it’s small but the grounds are ridiculously beautiful and detailed, infinity pool with beds and restaurant on beach really nice as well. Absolutely loved the room, very cool setup and roomy and loved the indoor outdoor shower. Easy walk down the beach to fisherman’s village and the happening bars at night. Walked entire beach area and felt this was the best place to stay other than maybe Anatara which is easily two times the price. This had better boutique feel to it though. Also awesome $12 hour Thai messages by the pool!

We stayed in a Jogglo villa, which was amazing! It had the wow factor as well as all the practicalities we needed. All the staff were super friendly and the in-villa smartphone is a great idea for making requests and communicating - and the response time was exceptional! The Bose Bluetooth speaker and complimentary spirits were also thoughtful additions which enhanced our experience. The lead up/entrance to the resort lets it down but once in reception, or the other-side of the concrete wall in the oasis of the resort, it all makes up for it. The fixed breakfast options were good however if staying longer this would have felt very restrictive. Location is good for access to restaurants and massages etc, and Fisherman's village is just a 10 min walk via road or beach

This property is a good hotel just not a great hotel. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the bohemian vibe good but the bathrooms could use some work. Shower water pressure and drainage very poor. Also be careful at the restaurant… most of the staff exceptional except for Danny the French restaurant manager. Spent 4 days there and we were never acknowledged, I guess we weren’t important enough as we saw him schmoozing other guests….Disappointing!

Karma resort was a wonderful stay. The property was amazing and even better than the pictures. The on-site dining was so terrific that I didn’t need to even leave the property to eat. Their kitchen can also accommodate a gluten allergy which was great! Property is close to many shops just outside the property and near attractions like Fisherman Village and Central Samui shopping mall. However the highlight of the property is the incredible staff. They were there to help with everything. I even injured myself on an ATV tour and helped rebook and cancel subsequent tours.

Best Resort in Koh Samui! The Karma Resort is a beautiful place to stay at. The Location is directly at the beach and close to Fishermans Village. It is super quiet but within 15 Minutes you can walk to Fishermans Village or take a taxi to Chaweng. The room has its very own and special design which makes you feel directly comfortable and cozy. The entire hotel has a boho-indonesian inspired style. Every single part is very beautiful and compared to other hotels unique. Before booking this hotel you should like these style of hotels because it will appear in every single room. The Food is amazing. There was not even one single dish or drink, which we did not like and enjoy. We prefered to eat here than outside. There are plenty of services which you can call for a very cheap price such as taxis and laundry. The best about this resort is their staff. Every single person is overwhelming friendly and helpful. No matter if you meet staff from the restaurant, reception, spa or housekeeping. They made our stay perfect! The reception is very well trained and competent. The Reception Ladies always try help us and were super committed. I had some of the best massages, while listening to the oceans waves, at the beach for a very fair price! We came here for our honeymoon and the hotel and staff were absolutely amazing. Everything was so easy, staff messaged daily to see if you wanted help sorting arrangements for the following day, rooms cleans etc. they were always on hand via the room phone to sort anything you need including room service (which was so quick!!!), taxis etc. The bar and restaurant is excellent too we ended up eating and drinking at karma a lot as it was so divine. Breakfast included was out of this world too. Honestly would come back again, we have had one of the best trips ever here and the manager should be proud of their establishment. Special thanks to all the staff at Karma for making our trip amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The resort location was nice as the neighborhood was walkable and had a lot of great restaurants nearby. We also really enjoyed the pool and restaurant at Karma. The room itself, however, left a lot to be desired. It looks beautiful in the photos with the outdoor shower and rustic vibe, but in reality, the bathroom was quite gross. The only "window" in the bathroom was the door to the outdoor shower, which we had to keep closed out of concern for mosquitoes. Even then, the glass door for the outdoor shower did not have a gasket, so we had to keep the main bathroom door to the bedroom closed at all times to ensure that we did not get bugs in the bedroom. Because of this, the bathroom stayed very smelly and wet the entire time. Also, the indoor shower does not have any enclosures and the drain was very slow, so the entire bathroom floor stayed wet the entire time, including the area around the toilet and sink. It sounds like a small thing, but getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and having wet/dirty feet every time felt really unsanitary. We were here for our honeymoon and had hoped for something more luxurious than this.

Quiet and peaceful, with excellent and friendly staff. Walking distance to Fisherman’s Village, without the sounds of it being on your doorstep. Our room, with its own pool, was only 50m from the beach, following a gorgeous tree lined pathway. Highly recommended.

Cozy and perfect hotel on the beach in Bophut. All rooms have unique names. We chose a room with a small pool. The restaurant has good food and wine options. The main pool and the beach is lovely. We will be back next year.

Karma is extremely picturesque, the design and detail throughout the resort is outstanding. Staff are willing to help, and very attentive. Rooms are beautiful - we recommend booking one with a private plunge pool as this was the perfect place to cool off. Spa services were quite expensive, but there is a cheaper option for massages just in front of the pool. Pool itself was perfect, with comfy options for lounging and a great ambience set by the resorts constant music. Restaurant and breakfast was satisfactory, nothing crazy - but good. But the view and vibes from the restaurant was very relaxing. Overall, you definitely get what you pay for here.

Dejligt lille boutique resort. Vi boede i en stor og virkelig lækker villa med stor pool. Lidt for meget larm med høj musik og danse show den aften vi spiste på hotellet. Vi kunne næsten ikke tale sammen. Stranden er den dårligste vi har prøvet i Thailand. Det gør ondt at gå på det meget grove sand. Vandet grumset og hotellet fløjet er ikke tang. Dejligt lille boutique resort. Vi boede i en stor og virkelig lækker villa med stor pool. Lidt for meget larm med høj musik og danse show den aften vi spiste på hotellet. Vi kunne næsten ikke tale sammen. Stranden er den dårligste vi har prøvet i Thailand. Det gør ondt at gå på det meget grove sand. Vandet grumset og hotellet fløjet er ikke tang. Quiet and peaceful, with excellent and friendly staff. Walking distance to Fisherman’s Village, without the sounds of it being on your doorstep. Our room, with its own pool, was only 50m from the beach, following a gorgeous tree lined pathway. Highly recommended.

Karma resort was a wonderful stay. The property was amazing and even better than the pictures. The on-site dining was so terrific that I didn’t need to even leave the property to eat. Their kitchen can also accommodate a gluten allergy which was great! Property is close to many shops just outside the property and near attractions like Fisherman Village and Central Samui shopping mall. However the highlight of the property is the incredible staff. They were there to help with everything. I even injured myself on an ATV tour and helped rebook and cancel subsequent tours.

We stayed in a Jogglo villa, which was amazing! It had the wow factor as well as all the practicalities we needed. All the staff were super friendly and the in-villa smartphone is a great idea for making requests and communicating - and the response time was exceptional! The Bose Bluetooth speaker and complimentary spirits were also thoughtful additions which enhanced our experience. The lead up/entrance to the resort lets it down but once in reception, or the other-side of the concrete wall in the oasis of the resort, it all makes up for it. The fixed breakfast options were good however if staying longer this would have felt very restrictive. Location is good for access to restaurants and massages etc, and Fisherman's village is just a 10 min walk via road or beach

Mooi resort aardige mensen. Ik vond een paar dingen minder, inde kamer is een trap naar het bed het is een beetje gevaarlijk ,moest s'nachts oppassen om niet te vallen. Het ontbijt is helamaal niets. Wel een sapje maar je moet kiezen wat je wil eten van een kaart maar niet zoveel keuze en wat je krijgt is simpel

We came here for our honeymoon and the hotel and staff were absolutely amazing. Everything was so easy, staff messaged daily to see if you wanted help sorting arrangements for the following day, rooms cleans etc. they were always on hand via the room phone to sort anything you need including room service (which was so quick!!!), taxis etc. The bar and restaurant is excellent too we ended up eating and drinking at karma a lot as it was so divine. Breakfast included was out of this world too. Honestly would come back again, we have had one of the best trips ever here and the manager should be proud of their establishment. Special thanks to all the staff at Karma for making our trip amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Absolutely beautiful and luxurious property with a stunning private pool. The room was spacious, stylish and very comfortable, with a lovely outdoor bathroom. The breakfast served in the room was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to the property is a little difficult, but definitely worth it. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that after check-out, we asked if we could stay by the pool for a little while, but despite being guests who had just checked out, we were asked to meet a minimum spend. We decided not to stay. A little more flexibility would have been appreciated. Overall, a beautiful place and a wonderful stay!

We had the best week at Karma Resort. The room was very nice and exactly as we imagined from the pictures, maybe even better in real life. The reception staff were super helpful, and could give good advice on places to go and helped us when we had a delayed flight and wanted to get more information from the airline. The food and drinks were all delicious, breakfast was good, and the service at the restaurant and pool/beach was 10/10. The people working there were friendly and helpful, everything came quick and they were also very accommodating. Eman especially was very friendly and helpful, and gave us some of the best service we have ever experienced. We would love to go back!
