Absolutely beautiful hotel. Nothing quite compares to having your swimming pool outside your door. The room was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. Ocean currents have removed most of the sand on the hotel's small beach. If you want a beach experience, you'll have to travel south to Chaweng or Lamai beach. Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Service leaves you to believe you’re staying at a hostel. Dinner was okay, selection is very poor, bring your own wine… Lunch is a disaster, food comes whenever staff feels like working. Breakfast is okay, coffee selection is good. Pool is dirty and has sediments inside, surprised we didn’t get sick. Gym is actually above standard. Staff is grabbed of the street, tells you lies and wastes your time… Overall, this place leaves you with a bad taste wishing you opted for something else..

L’hotel ha posizione ottima, centrale ma limitrofa alla zona più caotica, a 5 min di tuktuk! Ottima posizione di tranquillità e privacy! Ottima colazione! Struttura molto bella con aree e piscine meravigliose!! Area spa e massaggi fantastica!! Unica pecca mare vicino ma non c’è una spiaggia privata, bisogna muoversi su altre spiagge dell’isola!! Staff cordiale!!

Rigtig søde medarbejder stort set over det hele med undtagelse af håndværkerne der ikke fik løst en dør der ikke kunne låses og en solseng hvor ryglænet ikke virkede. Da de endelig kom var de tre mænd der ikke kunne lave to simpel ting. Rengøring personalet og den der kører os op til værelset og receptionen, var så søde og imødekommende. Poolen var skøn og ren med den fedeste udsigt og liggestolene gode. Fik heldigvis ingen myggestik hvilet vi havde frygtet. Der er højt oppe til 801 (ca. 80-100 meter over havet men det er det hele værd med pool + liggestole og en fantastisk udsigt, og man kan blive kørt gratis hvis ikke magter at gå. Hotellet er en ældre “dame” og nogen steder lidt slidt men generelt rigtig lækkert. Barge er også en god restaurant med sødt personale. Tak for 5 gode dage

Stayed here for a week - the resort was quite challenging to get around with a baby and pram etc. The beach pool and restaurant needs some serious TLC and the food served at the restaurant by the beach pool wasn't nice. Breakfast spread is excellent and housekeeping were excellent at keeping bedroom clean etc. Not a bad resort but would need a car/taxi/moped to get around and it isn't a great resort for kids

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff who were welcoming and efficient! Our hotel room was up in the mountain and had a stunningly breathtaking view and excellent transportation through the villa. The infinity pools were well kept, beautifully located and had a swim up bar. The location was close to the action. I would highly recommend this location and can’t wait to go back!

This is a wonderful private spot to enjoy your vacation away from the hustle and bustle. Hotel staffs are all very polite and helpful. They have two outdoor pools that you can enjoy swimming with sea view and sunset.

Absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff go above and beyond to welcome you- nothing is any problem and they are all so friendly. The rooms are spotless and the views from the room are fabulous! I would highly recommend a stay at Nora Buri Resort and Spa. I will definitely be back.

The room had a magnificent ocean view, but for a 5-star resort, the breakfast did not offer a wide variety of food. The pool closes at 6 o'clock. It is far from the city centre and does not offer a free shuttle to the city.

This resort was a let down, it was build on the side of a steep mountain, you need to get a golf cart to take you to your room. Our rooms where located all the way at the top, the garden was a mess weeds around, electrical wires hanging out, old rusty air conditioners sitting on the side walk. The room smelled like mold, was outdated, to operate the lights you had to use some kind of chinese control panel system next to the bed which looked like it was make in 1980. Breakfast was ok, it felt like a Carnival cruise line buffet, crowded, you have to wait in queue to order eggs. The location is strange theres a tunnel you need to go under to get to the beach, which is covered in garbage, with all 300 employees none of them can clean the beach. The hotel appears to be built for chinese mega tourists but ended up being rented by normal travellers, and its a mess. You have to ride a "Taxi" to get anywhere. Staff at front desk wasnt helpful, nobody to help carry your bags. I dont suggest this place unless you are on a tight budget and even then go stay near the real beach.

We had an amazing two night stay! We were so fortunate to receive an upgrade that provided a private pool. The room was very clean and spacious. In this case, we want to recognize Nang for her assistance checking in and arranging for a special room for us. This is our third time staying at the Nora Buri Resort. The breakfast was wonderful. Sun was so helpful during checkout. All around we were delighted and were sorry that we hadn’t booked a longer stay!

Absolutely pathetic! Don’t think how this hotel got 5 stars rating! Nothing works in the room. Sockets are miles away from the bed! Rooms are outdated and needs a massive revamp! Room is not at all tasty! Only good thing about this place is the staffs. They are courteous, friendly and willing to help! Avoid this place - go elsewhere! You won’t regret it!

It’s a great resort if you can afford the beach side. I went through Hotels.com, then decided to upgrade after it was too late. It cost me. I paid more than anyone in my group. But if you’re a couple - the beach side villas with the plunge pool is top notch
It’s a great resort if you can afford the beach side. I went through Hotels.com, then decided to upgrade after it was too late. It cost me. I paid more than anyone in my group. But if you’re a couple - the beach side villas with the plunge pool is top notch

Wir hatten eine Villa mit eigenem Pool und die war wirklich fantastisch!! Der Pool war riesig und der Ausblick traumhaft. Man wurde immer mit einem Buggs von oben abgeholt und wieder zurück gefahren. Man musste selten lange warten. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Ohne einen Roller oder Auto ist man hier aber augeschmissen, da es in der Nähe zu Fuß nichts gibt. Wir wollten sowieso einen Roller mieten deswegen war es perfekt für uns.

We had an amazing two night stay! We were so fortunate to receive an upgrade that provided a private pool. The room was very clean and spacious. In this case, we want to recognize Nang for her assistance checking in and arranging for a special room for us. This is our third time staying at the Nora Buri Resort. The breakfast was wonderful. Sun was so helpful during checkout. All around we were delighted and were sorry that we hadn’t booked a longer stay!

Absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff go above and beyond to welcome you- nothing is any problem and they are all so friendly. This resort was a let down, it was build on the side of a steep mountain, you need to get a golf cart to take you to your room. Our rooms where located all the way at the top, the garden was a mess weeds around, electrical wires hanging out, old rusty air conditioners sitting on the side walk. The room smelled like mold, was outdated, to operate the lights you had to use some kind of chinese control panel system next to the bed which looked like it was make in 1980. Breakfast was ok, it felt like a Carnival cruise line buffet, crowded, you have to wait in queue to order eggs. The location is strange theres a tunnel you need to go under to get to the beach, which is covered in garbage, with all 300 employees none of them can clean the beach. The hotel appears to be built for chinese mega tourists but ended up being rented by normal travellers, and its a mess. You have to ride a "Taxi" to get anywhere. Staff at front desk wasnt helpful, nobody to help carry your bags. I dont suggest this place unless you are on a tight budget and even then go stay near the real beach.

The hotel is divided by a very busy road, if one wants to go to the "beach", needs to go across a busy road or a tunnel from one side to the other side, inconvenient. The "beach" a rough seaside with rocks, can't swim nor walk around One can see electric cables at the breakfast area. Breakfast is low standard. eg: stale old bread! Rooms is big, dark and very dull, the view for a deluxe room is a building right in front. The hotel is built on a steep hill, not for elderly or kids. Even with buggy, inconvenient Called Housekeeping, Duty Manager, Operator and Room Service one day around 5 pm for about 20 minutes, no answer. FOOD POSION! My husband and an other member of the family got food poison in their "Grill" the evening before we returned to HKG. They both had a lukewarm cream soup, and started to have serious diarrhea and vomit, I mean SERIOUS! My husband visited the bathroom 6 times within 4 hours! We booked the car to leave at 9:15 am, we complained to the Duty Manager, nothing he can do or suggested. We have no choice but to leave, my husband had to be wheelchair to the aircraft. Upon return to HKG, I wrote to the GM/F&B, I am surprised the Front Office Manager replied to me. They did not admitted the mistake, serving lukewarm cream soup, stale breads from the breakfast buffet counter, old mushroom sauce. They just brushed me over. We also tried the Thai restaurant, don't waste time! All in all, disappointed and do NOT recommend this place

We had a wonderful stay here. The resort is beautiful and a short taxi ride from the busy Chaweng strip. It was very easy to get into town but we enjoyed the quiet comforts of the resort. The staff were friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Would definitely come back here again!

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff who were welcoming and efficient! Our hotel room was up in the mountain and had a stunningly breathtaking view and excellent transportation through the villa. The infinity pools were well kept, beautifully located and had a swim up bar. The location was close to the action. I would highly recommend this location and can’t wait to go back!

L’hotel ha posizione ottima, centrale ma limitrofa alla zona più caotica, a 5 min di tuktuk! Ottima posizione di tranquillità e privacy! Ottima colazione! Struttura molto bella con aree e piscine meravigliose!! Area spa e massaggi fantastica!! Unica pecca mare vicino ma non c’è una spiaggia privata, bisogna muoversi su altre spiagge dell’isola!! Staff cordiale!!

Lovely hotel accommodation. Clean with hillside sea view. Two swimming pools. Great buffet breakfast selection. About 10 mins from Chaweng beach by taxi.. Nice and quiet location. Would recommend!!

Service leaves you to believe you’re staying at a hostel. Dinner was okay, selection is very poor, bring your own wine… Lunch is a disaster, food comes whenever staff feels like working. Breakfast is okay, coffee selection is good. Pool is dirty and has sediments inside, surprised we didn’t get sick. Gym is actually above standard. Staff is grabbed of the street, tells you lies and wastes your time… Overall, this place leaves you with a bad taste wishing you opted for something else..

Stayed here for a week - the resort was quite challenging to get around with a baby and pram etc. The beach pool and restaurant needs some serious TLC and the food served at the restaurant by the beach pool wasn't nice. Breakfast spread is excellent and housekeeping were excellent at keeping bedroom clean etc. Not a bad resort but would need a car/taxi/moped to get around and it isn't a great resort for kids

Schöne Anlage mit kleinem Bach auf der Bergseite, allerdings schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Innen ist trotzdem alles gut, aber teilweise an den Außenfassaden sieht es tagsüber nicht schön aus. Bei Dunkelheit bezaubernd. Frühstück ok aber auch nicht mehr. Liegt abgelegen, empfehle dringend einen Roller zu mieten bei 1-2 Personen. Schöne Anlage mit kleinem Bach auf der Bergseite, allerdings schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Innen ist trotzdem alles gut, aber teilweise an den Außenfassaden sieht es tagsüber nicht schön aus. Bei Dunkelheit bezaubernd. Frühstück ok aber auch nicht mehr. Liegt abgelegen, empfehle dringend einen Roller zu mieten bei 1-2 Personen. We had an amazing two night stay! We were so fortunate to receive an upgrade that provided a private pool. The room was very clean and spacious. In this case, we want to recognize Nang for her assistance checking in and arranging for a special room for us. This is our third time staying at the Nora Buri Resort. The breakfast was wonderful. Sun was so helpful during checkout. All around we were delighted and were sorry that we hadn’t booked a longer stay!

We stayed for 7 nights at the Nora Buri. It was our second visit. The views are stunning. Breakfasts are amazing as are the staff. Two cautions - many, many steps and costly to take daily taxi to Chaweng Centre. Resort should provide shuttle service.

Great stay at Nora Buri for our anniversary, we had our own pool with ocean view and it was great. Ammenities are great . The staff are very friendly and helpful would highly recommend a stay there. Location is great also not to far to Chaweng beach which is more peaceful then being right in hustle and bustle of that area .
