Unless you valet park, you'd better not drive here. But there's a great restaurant right next to the hotel and an Orangetheory Fitness right across the street.

The Hilton section of the building had only 2 elevators for the 20 or so floors, which wasn’t to bad of a wait but one of the elevators quit working on the 2nd day of our stay and caused major delays and crowds in the lobby.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff were excellent—friendly and efficient. The room was spotless, and housekeeping was consistently thorough and kind. Daily cleanings were a huge plus. The location was perfect for the nearby conference. However, I had to adjust my dates and was charged a steep fee. The hotel’s rigid “no change, no cancellation” policy felt overly strict. I won’t stay at another hotel with such inflexible terms. The biggest issue was valet parking. They use a text system for car requests—sometimes you get a confirmation, sometimes not. When going downstairs, the valet staff often had no idea if the car was on its way, manually sorting through tickets to check. They frequently double-parked my car, forcing me to enter/exit from an active traffic lane, which understandably frustrated other drivers. Valets also kept changing settings—seat, mirrors, radio, climate, even the automatic lights—without resetting them. Each request came with a paper tag, which felt wasteful and left pink slips in the car. On the last day, I was rudely told I was nearing their “3 per day” limit, even though I only requested the car 11 times during a 6-night stay. Great staff and location, but the valet experience and inflexible policies were dealbreakers.

Everything was great except for two things: 1. It smelled life feet in both hallway abd our room 2. There were someone's leftover food in the mi i fridge. And the area arond coffee and microwave was dirty w greasy fingerprints. We put the old food outside our room and it was still there the next day in the hallway. Gross. Otherwise, bed was very comfy and the linens were fresh and of good quality ( i cant stand cheap nappy sheets! These were nice thread count cotton sheets). Staff was friendly and professional. Lobby and room was modern and nice. Just need to do something about the smell and tighten up the housekeeping crew.

The rooms had a terrible odor, and we had to switch rooms three times. In one of the rooms, the sheets were dirty. When we reached our final room and checked the bed, we found the sheets there were also dirty and had to be changed. We were promised a credit for the inconvenience, but it was never issued. Additionally, the daily valet fee allows only up to three car removals per day. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to others.

If you want dinner you’ll have to use your phone to figure out where things are from their general website.

We arrived 25 minutes before check in time at 4 pm. We stood in line for checkin-got up to the desk and were told to come back in 25 minutes when we will start assigning rooms. There was already about 50 people waiting in the lobby for their rooms….after a long day to a lobby full of people waiting for rooms because the staff wouldnt assign rooms until after 4 pm. Seriously-just check people in. If the rooms are ready, which they all were then why make people angry and just give them a place to go. Get off the power trip…

Staff was not very friendly. They were judgy, and overall seemed like they were being inconvenience. The first thing I was told when I walked in was “um you’re at the Hilton garden” in a very condescending voice. When we went to the lobby to get laundry detergent they were all out, and when we were getting snacks one of the workers was giving us a dirty look the whole time. He then came over and asked if we had “moved the self checkout?” We are all over 30 y/o, but were treated like high school kids. The next day we asked to checkout later and the staff once again was not friendly. Just overall not the best experience, especially with it being a Hilton hotel.

Our 1st room smelled like marijuana so they moved us to a new room which was actually larger and was a corner room. They gave us a bag with snacks to apologize. We tried to go to the rooftop to see the view of the lake, but couldn’t because they said we needed a reservation since it’s a bar also. We didn’t want to drink just see the view and leave. It would have been nice if that was mentioned somewhere. We booked that hotel since it had a rooftop view of the lake. I was charged twice for parking even though we stayed one night and never took our car out of the garage until we left. I called about it and the man I spoke to was no help. I was told to call back later. The room itself was nice. It would be nice if they offered free breakfast since we paid over $250.00 for 1 night. It was an easy walk to Soldier Field for the concert we were attending.
