Panmanee Hotel-Newly Renovated

Lovely property, newly refurbished so looks great and modern. Loved that there was a food market directly outside the front door and that it was really centrally located - perfect for popping about the island. WiFi was very poor on the ground floor - this needs to be updated and sorted. The check in was okay, not the friendliest of staff though, which is odd for Thailand with everyone being so friendly. Beds were a little hard for our preference, but this being said the aircon was great and we had a good sleep. Would definitely recommend as a modern and clean stop for a short stay in Phi Phi (if you were staying longer I’d say get somewhere with a pool as this place is basically just rooms)

Clean, very new looking accommodation In great location near Tonsai Pier so was not too far to walk with luggage and close to meet-up point for sunrise tour. Very efficient & helpful checkin. Nice, comfortable waiting areas available before check in time & after checkout before ferry. Close to Lots of things but nice, quiet room. Loved Anna’s restaurant nearby.

Nice location - spotless & nice staff. Lacks amenities like a gym and pool but the beach is 1 minute away.

Convenient location for the surrounding area. Reception staff very helpful with tour booking. Very clean, modern room. Big fridge. No breakfast options/restaurant. Would stay there again.

Very nice clean Hotel. Just a short walk from the pier. Able to relax in the room with good air conditioning. There is a mosque behind the Hotel and the call to prayer woke us up at about 5am! There’s no pool but a short stroll to the beach. The area surrounding the hotel is quite crazy with people, barrow boys and shops!

Die Unterkunft ist ein sehr gutes und ordentliches Hotel. Es gibt kein internes Restaurant, was uns vorher bekannt war und nicht wichtig war da wir auswärts essen wollten. Ich kann mich zu diesem Hotel nur positiv äußern. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind in einem tadellosen Zustand. Wir hatten das Gefühl das unser Zimmer komplett neu war. Gerne wieder beim nächsten mal.

This place is exactly the middle of anything, both sides of beaches any bar/resturants you want to visit. It just a very nice and comftable room with nothing else no view no sea no pool etc.

Das Hotel hat schöne neue Zimmer. Man erhält sogar Strandhandtücher. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage mitten Im Geschehen und bis auf manche Hotelgäste die spät zurück kamen war es auch Ruhig. Das Hotel ist in fünf Minuten vom Pier erreichbar.Rings um das Hotel gibt es Essens und Frühstück Möglichkeiten. Bei Expedia wird angegeben das man das Frühstück im Hotel dazu kaufen kann. Vorort gab es aber dann kein Frühstück. War nicht schlimm. in der Nähe gibt es mehr als genug Auswahl. Das Personal konnte gut Englisch und war sehr hilfsbereit. sie haben mir sogar geholfen meinen kaputten Reißverschluss zu reparieren. Sie haben das Zimmer schön dekoriert als sie mitbekommen haben das meine Frau Geburtstag hat.

Nice tidy room, no facilities just a room but thats all we needed, hotel very clean, however around the hotel was very dirty. Would i come back, yes.

Stained beds sheets and towels. nasty smell in the bathroom. room view was into a garbage area. not recommended.

The location is ideal and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We booked 3 rooms, unfortunately the bathroom one of them smelled bad. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Good location, new and clean with sizeable rooms

1st night check-in notice the dirty smell from 1 of the 4 pillows and asked customer service to change it out but one came service. The bathroom smell bad all day every day we stayed there. A little dirty outside around the hotel entry.

Hotel itself was nice for what it was. However the bathroom inside our room had a terrible smell whenever we used the shower, sink or toilet. It also didn’t seem like our maid fully cleaned our room properly as our bathroom sink, mirror, and floors looked dirty the entire stay.

Great 3 day stay. Clean, modern and cheap.

We have also stayed in this hotel last year and it has been a great choice. Unfortunately we were bitten by bed bugs. However, everything else was great and if it wasn’t for the bed bugs, we would recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Panmanee Hotel, it was conveniently located in the center of the island. At first it was a little difficult to find since it is hidden away but the hotel is very clean, modernized, and spacious. We were able to come back and forth to drop off items and change /freshen up throughout the day. Right outside of the hotel past the alley way is a multitude of street food and shops. It is definitely a hidden gem!

Hotel bem localizado e com preço competitivo, quarto grande e cama confortável. O único problema foi o forte cheiro de esgoto no banheiro, mas acredito que seja comum na ilha. Recomendado, apesar disso.

We would have had a better stay if we didn’t had to sleep in a room with no working AC, this was brought up to the staff but the gentleman from front desk didn’t care and said he couldn’t help us. No compensation or anything. The next day we asked again and made clear that we weren’t able to sleep properly for the last two nights and finally were able to switch rooms for the last night.

The Panmanee was in a great location. Easy access to everything. The room looked like it was recently renovated. Water pressure was great as well.

Modern/renovated place in the middle of Phi Phi. Rooms look new, however I agree with other reviews, bathroom has a bad smell for some reason. Service is non-existent, check in and forget about it. No View from the room, looks out to adjacent rundown property.

Unfortunately the bathrooms smelled really bad in both of our rooms. The day shift hotel staff was not friendly and did not go out of their way. They were more concerned with watching shows on their phones. The night shift staff was amazing! The rooms were nice but the bathrooms ruined the experience.

Mostly good: newer, modern, clean, great location, good bed, sheets, and quiet. But as other reviews have noted, service could have been better. No effort was made to meet us at the pier, direct us to the hotel, or assist us with our luggage. Many other hotels do. Also, we arrived early hoping to get a room we liked enough to want to extend our stay, but were given a room with no view while rooms with views were left unoccupied. Seems like they save the best rooms for last. On the bright side, their housekeeping crew was very helpful and on the whole, we would stay here again.

The location is everything! Island center and walking distance from the pier. My friends and I accidentally missed our ferry into the island and missed one night. Staff felt bad and allowed us a late check out instead

Amazing value for money property. Staff were excellent and even allowed early check in for my partner and I. The room itself was spotless and staff continued to go out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic time. This would be our go to place when staying at Phi Phi Island.

This is hotel right in the middle of the busy shopping section of Phi Phi Island. We were passing through and only stayed one night. The hotel served the basic needs for just one day. It is a no frills room but serves a temporary stay just fine!

The locate was great so close to the Pier and just quiet enough from off the main busy streets on Phi Phi.

Apesar de estar no centro da ilha, o hotel fica em uma rua tranquila, garantindo noites silenciosas e relaxantes. O hotel passou por uma recente renovação, e os quartos são modernos, espaçosos e muito limpos. A cama era extremamente confortável, o ar-condicionado funcionava perfeitamente, e o banheiro estava impecável. Além disso, o Wi-Fi gratuito funcionou bem durante toda a estadia. O que realmente fez a diferença foi a hospitalidade da equipe. Chegamos antes do horário do check-in, e a recepcionista, muito gentil, permitiu que entrássemos no quarto assim que ele ficou pronto. No dia da nossa partida, enfrentamos uma forte chuva. A equipe prontamente nos emprestou guarda-chuvas e, para nossa surpresa, levou nossas malas até o píer, garantindo que chegássemos secos e sem contratempos. A localização também é excelente para explorar a ilha. Em poucos minutos, estávamos nas praias, restaurantes e lojas locais. Mesmo com a proximidade das áreas mais movimentadas, o hotel oferece um ambiente calmo e relaxante. Recomendo o Panmanee Hotel de olhos fechados para quem busca conforto, excelente atendimento e uma localização privilegiada em Phi Phi Don. Com certeza, voltaremos em uma próxima visita!

Well located on the island - 2 minute walk to all the main bars, restaurants and attractions. Very convenient stay regarding location, room was well equipped and beds were very comfy. Would definitely recommend if staying in Phi Phi.

At first it was a little difficult to find since it is hidden away but the hotel is very clean, modernized, and spacious. We were able to come back and forth to drop off items and change /freshen up throughout the day. Right outside of the hotel past the alley way is a multitude of street food and shops. It is definitely a hidden gem!

The entrance was in an alley behind the market and there were trash that were kept by markets right in front of the hotel and smells as you walk to the entrance. The alley was always wet because marketers clean theirs products and meats on that side.
