Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Coco Beach Resort in Koh Phi Phi. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk from the pier, and the staff take care of your luggage both on arrival and departure, which makes everything effortless. Everyone we met was incredibly polite and accommodating, always going out of their way to help. The rooms looked exactly like in the photos and were kept in top-notch condition throughout our stay. The setting is stunning, and we really appreciated the beautiful pool as well as the free kayaks and paddle boards, which made exploring the island even more special. If there’s one minor drawback, it’s that some music from nearby beach clubs can be heard at night. However, we didn’t find it too distracting, and the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. The island is quite small, so it’s hard to avoid music altogether anywhere you stay. The only real downside for us was the food. As vegans/vegetarians, we found the options quite limited and not very satisfying. The chef did try to accommodate us, but the dishes ended up being very simple, mostly grilled or fried vegetables. During our stay, the resort hosted a special dinner for Loy Krathong, and even though we had informed them of our dietary needs in advance, vegan options weren’t really taken seriously — so we decided not to join the dinner. Only Hotel on main Phi Phi with private beach access, amazing food, wonderful rooms. Out of 20 years visiting Thailand this my best hotel experience. Everything is in walking distance, hotel has free kayaking, snorkeling gear, and their own long boats you can rent for private tours. Daily breakfast was my best experience with free breakfast in Thailand. The pool was super clean and a pleasure everyday with plenty of lounge chairs. Only issue was the island bar music could be heard at night but that is the same with the main part of Phi Phi island. Amazing hotel and just as amazing staff. The food was the best we found on the island.

Ill start by saying we have stayed here several times and will stay here again. Love the pool area/massage on deck/bar happy hour/close proximity to all tours, restaurants, nightlife. Its why most come to phi phi and this place is clean and sanitary with exceptional staff. We were able to enjoy breakfast daily and then go on any tour at our pace followed by relaxing in the pool. The local cats are awesome and we are glad people are kind at this location. Typical thai huts on beatiful sand. Not the largest but they have everything you need. Anyone complaining about noise has never stayed in phi phi. You can not stay anywhere in tonsai harbour area and avoid night time noise period. If you want quiet, saii and new outrigger/old zeavola are a 20 min boatride to the other side of the island. Great options for relaxation but not for excursions or having to pay for boat transport everytime you'd like to revisit the city. If you are looking for best hotel in the actual bay, this is it.

First the good: -this place is beautiful , if you arrive at the ferry there will be an employee with the hotel cart and he’ll push your luggage for you to the property. The staff was lovely. The room are small but super cool and make you feel like you are on an island. The pool is great, pool bar makes superior cocktails. You can use the kayaks to go to monkey beach which is super fun! Now for the bad: the beach is kind of gross, not sure if it’s because of it location in the bay but it’s mainly just standing water. Finally the most important thing you must know before booking is that you won’t be able to sleep. The noise from the bars on the beach is so loud you ll feel it in your guts! Plus it’s techno so it mostly sounds like a malfunctioning car engine!no melody ! It’s so loud even ear plugs don’t. Cover it!

Property had loud music till 4am on first night. When we arrived from ferry had to bring all our bags to resort which was 1/2 a mile walk In blistering sun and humidity. The pool was green and not well kept. Staff was very friendly

Beautiful property! Great swim up bar and great tour booking! We had a guy name Russel (maybe misspelling) but he was an incredible tour guide. The staff were excellent, the hut was cute and beds were comfortable. The food at teh restaurant was delicious! As were the cocktails 😁

Hotel was lovely to chill during the day pool really nice staff friendly, but didn’t sleep a single wink due to the fact there’s a nightclub open over the water that is open till 3am every night of the week and playing loud music all night long. Due to this the hotel became abit of a pain and I was glad that I was only here for 1 night and not for the whole of my stay in Thailand.

Room was clean. Party noise all night (until 230am), but we were warned and supplied with earpluggs. Great spot if you want a uniqure vibe, with convenient pool and beach.

Very friendly staff. Room cleaning didn’t happen for our unit for some reason, and the noise at nighttime (voices, rain, music) can easily be heard through the walls of the rooms. Beautiful spot tucked away on the side of the island, gorgeous pool and ocean view.

We stayed in Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort for three nights. It is an amazing tropical oasis and we would come back again. Resort is clean, beautiful and people are great. They picked up our luggage at the pier and brought it to the Resort. Huts are cute with very comfortable beds, strong AC and good shower. Huts are not well sound proof but it did not bother us. We booked two units and the huts were at the end of the row. So less people walked by our units and less noise during a day or at night. We knew about loud music at night from the bay so we brought ear plugs from home. We slept peacefully every night. It did not bother us a bit. Phi Phi Island is beautiful tropical island and I wanted to stay in bamboo huts and not a regular hotel rooms. No regrets. Thank you Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort for your hospitality. These were great three days.

Amazing property! Like being transported to Gilligan's Island. The room was clean, comfortable and adorable. Wi-Fi and TV were reliable. The grounds are delightful. My daughter and I slept well and didn't hear anything from the neighbouring parties.The receptionist 'Bally' was so charming and polite. We loved it here, we wished we'd stayed longer. The restaurant has fantastic food, big selection and super affordable prices

Lovely pool area, delicious buffet breakfast, the huts are really nice & clean. I found the location a bit of a downfall as it’s far away from everything and always felt like an effort to go anywhere. The noise of the music across the bay didn’t really bother us, the sound of people in nearby huts was more annoying at times as the walls are very thin. The hotel gives you ear plugs which help a lot. Overall though it was a very pleasant stay.

O conceito do hotel é muito interessante e rústico, o problema é que o quarto acaba sendo bem pequeno comparado com outros lugares da Tailândia. Quem está com muitas malas pode sofrer um pouco. Tivemos dificuldade com as massagistas do hotel que não quiseram nos atender por estar chovendo. O staff como um todo é solicito e nos ajuda com malas até o píer. Foi minha segunda vez no hotel, a vista da piscina vale a pena.

Large pool with a beachfront, unfortunately the beach is only swim able when the tide is high but when it is you can use a kayak or paddle board. The room includes two beds and a bathroom in a medium sized bamboo cabana. Extremely loud noise from the beach bars every night till 3am!!!

The pool area is a highlight, offering a serene and well-maintained space with ample sun loungers and a convenient poolside bar. Adjacent to the pool, the hotel’s restaurant serves a generous buffet breakfast, complete with a wide variety of options, including eggs made to order—an ideal way to start the day. Despite these appealing aspects, the hotel does have one notable drawback: noise. The rooms lack soundproofing, and the surrounding nightlife brings loud music well into the early hours, often persisting until 2–3 a.m. For those staying near the back of the property, early morning staff activity adds another layer of disturbance, with noise starting as early as 7 a.m. While the hotel itself is lovely, with friendly staff and great amenities, the lack of nighttime tranquility may be a dealbreaker for light sleepers. For traveler's who prioritise atmosphere and service over absolute quiet, it remains a compelling choice.

Lovely little bungalows that are clean and well organised. I would highly suggest requesting a bungalow from the 2nd row back, as the water bounces off the ocean and pool in the first row. Lovely and helpful staff accross the resort.

We arrived at the pier and there was a guy with a board with the hotel name. He grabbed our luggage and walked us to the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a drink. We arrived early but we only had to wait ten minutes for our room. Really great service from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean with great amenities. The pool area was gorgeous overlooking the beach. Breakfast there was so much choice. Would come back to this hotel it’s the best we have stayed in Thailand. Yes there is noise in the evening but it didn’t bother us, go join in the fun. We also enjoyed watching Netflix and sitting on the balcony..

Everything is way to far, you don’t even want to go out and drink because it’s a loooonnngggg walk back. It would make sense for them to instal a walkway by the beach. Wish we knew how far it was, we would have booked somewhere else. I would hate to go in the summer. They charge a service fee, so you don’t have to tip. Also if you’re at the pool relaxing, they will not ask if you need another drink or anything you have to go to the bar and get it. Also if they see that there are empty plates by you they won’t take them, you have to ask them to clean it up . I’m not to sure what the service fee is for :/ Also we turned 2 towels in from other guest that just left them on the chairs and we went to go pick 2 towels up for ourselves,well they got after us. Like uhm mindblown, we were just trying to do the right thing. Drinks are OK, not worth the $. Also no microwaves in the room (I’m assuming so that you have to order from their restaurant, which is kinda pricey IMO.) The breakfast is good, but you have to get there early for it to be fresh. Overall it’s a cute place but I wouldn’t pay more than like $75 a night.

Quarto muito gostoso, decoração lindissima, cama e roupa de cama muito confortáveis, todo o resort é muito lindo e bem cuidado. Fácil acesso a outras áreas de Phi Phi. Piscina muito gostosa, serviço impecável e cordial. A questão do barulho é realmente real até 2:30 da manhã, mas isso é uma coisa que o próprio hotel avisa antes. As festas acontecem do outro lado da mesma praia onde o hotel se localiza, parece que a baía faz eco do som. Entretanto não foi um problema para nós, estavamos indo para as festas mas sempre iamos embora mais cedo bem cansados, então dormiamos com facilidade. Café da manhã fenomenal, muito completo. Voltarei com toda certeza!

I stayed 3 nights and was very pleased. Hotel Bellman greets you at the pier to take your bags and then a short walk to the hotel. Check in is easy and all staff very pleasant and customer service oriented. Eager to help in any way they can. My room was in front of the pool/bar and wonderful. Clean and plenty of towels and very cute! Felt like I was in the jungle but on the beach with all modern amenities. AC was cold, nice refrigerator and water provided. Nice bathroom and the shower was great with lots of water pressure. Bed was comfy and streaming TV to catch up on all your fav shows if you like. Wifi was great. Yes, there is noise/music at night from the beach party across the small bay but it was not like it was outside my room so I was able to fall asleep just fine.

Horrible customer service, not consistent with communication and constantly changed their story. We confirmed our pick up time with staff member weeks in advance and upon arriving were told the ferries stopped at 3:30 and we needed to book a new hotel, spent another $300 we didn't plan for. Was told we would get a discount/refund and then manager refused to give us one once we arrived/avoided talking to us. Every time we talked with a staff member the answer would change and were not helpful/very rude. Overall lost out on $750, DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The noise levels from nearby properties are terrible, with loud music until the early hours of the morning. While sitting at the pool area a monkey entered the resort after being chased down the beach by a staff member. I was subsequently scratched, the advice from the staff by the pool was as it was a scratch I didn’t need any further treatment. Luckily I went to seek medical advice and had to have a course of rabies vaccinations. This was reported to the hotel but nobody checked in to see how I was or acknowledged staff needed to give better advice to guests if this should happen again. The pool area could do with renovation lots of chipped tiles, the breakfast buffet was covered with flies

Motto, Pammy (front desk) and Bond (boat driver) were extremely kind and helpful. CoCo Beach is really unique. The huts are made out of bamboo so you can hear noises and music at night. But if you are prepared for it then it is manageable. The hospitality was worth it.

This place is one of the best properties on Phi Phi. The pool is amazing! You stay in your own lil hut right on the beach. You can be away from the downtown parties, but a short walk if you wanna be in the night life. Staff is amazing!

The best stay we’ve had on our trip! The room was cozy and beachy. The pool was pretty quiet and on the beach it was great! We loved spending all day by the pool and by the swim up bar. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend staying here. Location was amazing as well!

Very unique experience in a nice side of the island. Nice pool that leads to a beach front. Staff is friendly and helpful. About a 10-15 minute walk from Tonsai Pier so a bit of a commitment to get to/from all of the action. At night the music from the beach is quite loud and can be heard from within the rooms. Music will go till about 3am. Not the Hotel's fault but something to be aware of.

This place is absolutely stunning, clean, tidy and the staff are lovely. We knew to expect noise so took ear plugs, but if you are a light sleeper this isn’t for you! The base is worse then the noise and it goes on every night until 2am atleast. Also if I was travelling solo this isn’t the safest place to get back to, the streets are run down and poorly lit, we spoke to a few woman who said they didn’t feel comfortable. However if none of this puts you off it’s absolutely paradise in the day and the food/drink amazing!

The area around the hotel is not crowded which is great if you want a bit more relaxing environment. Just keep in mind that the room is made with bamboos so you will hear music playing from nearby clubs until like 2:30 am. The beach in front of hotel is ok but not that good for swimming. There is an old abandoned building right next to hotel, so you will see some piles of trash around there. The hotel is within a walking distance to many restaurants and bars as well as to the pier.

The staff and cleanliness of the hotel, I cannot fault. The staff were absolutely incredible. They are very attentive. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The one thing that hugely let the hotel down was the noise (bass music from a bar down the beach) at night. It was unbearable and ran from 6.30pm until around 3.30am each night. Even ear plugs failed to block out this noise. As a result, I have barely slept the past three nights. I appreciate this is not the hotel’s fault but it sadly really let the stay down. Other than that it would have been absolutely perfect.

Coco beach was beautiful! Ended my stay early because it was so loud at night, wasn’t able to sleep. It was in the fine print after booking but should have been shared earlier before booking in my opinion. Also, staff & experience was lovely during my one night but at the restaurant for dinner, the staff forgot my order & I waited for over an hour for my meal. Didn’t have the best experience but was a beautiful property overall. Just know it is loud at night with the club & bars nearby, bring earplugs!

I stayed at this property for four nights and overall had a nice stay. The staff was very kind and helpful, top-notch. The pool was great with a good view of the ocean and access to the beach with paddle board and kayak rentals. There were lots of pool loungers, but they filled up by about noon (hotel was fully booked while I was there), so stake one out early. Breakfast was decent. The rooms were great and the bamboo bungalow style was so cute and really added to the beach vibe. The hotel’s restaurant was decent and inexpensive, but there’s much better food elsewhere on the island. One major thing to be aware of: noise from the club(s) at night. Maybe this is because before I arrived I didn’t realize 1) how small and packed together the island is and 2) how much of a party place it is, but noise-wise, sleeping in the bungalow was like sleeping in a tent. The walls are bamboo rods, and you could hear everything through them. By about 8 pm every night the bass of house music at the club was hitting hard (at times I could feel the bass, too), and I could hear every group of loud drunk people returning to their bungalows later. If you’re a light sleeper and don’t plan to party, I’d recommend somewhere with more substantial walls. I ended up sleeping with noise canceling headphones on every night. Without them I would have had a tough time sleeping. Other than that, I had a great time. Not sure if I would go back because of the relatively high price and noise.

This was as one would expect to see in the movies - true paradise. The buffet was outstanding, really exceptional. The clubs playing music till 2am does spoil the ambience a bit, but you do have complimentary earplugs. But this would be true wherever you stay on Phi Phi.

Beautiful property! Great swim up bar and great tour booking! We had a guy name Russel (maybe misspelling) but he was an incredible tour guide. The staff were excellent, the hut was cute and beds were comfortable. The food at teh restaurant was delicious! As were the cocktails 😁

Rigtig dejligt hotel - fine hytter, dog meget lidt lys i hytterne. Hvis vi vidste hvor meget larm der var stranden overfor ( indtil kl 02.45 hver nat - var vi aldrig kommet. Personalet utrolig søde - dog måtte vi to aftener ud af tre sende maden tilbage i køkkenet da den ikke var varm.
