The location is great and the reception & restaurant areas are nice. Food at the restaurant is fairly priced and good. Our deluxe seaview room was roomy and had a nice view. Comfortable except for the very worn sheets, towels and beach towels. They need more sunbeds, it's a blood sport here with all beds claimed before 6:30 am. Overall, I would recommend as a budget hotel.

The Lamai Coconut Beach Resort was a pleasant surprise. We originally booked one week but realized we didn’t want to leave on the fifth day and extended our stay for a month. The staff is excellent the restaurant has great food at extremely reasonable prices and the happy hour from 5-7 is also excellent. Try the passion fruit Margarita and enjoy Lamai.

Bra frukost, mycket att välja på. Personalen trevlig och bra service. Läget är superbra, nära till Night market med supergod mat för bara några 10 kronor. Området är lugnt. Om jag ska ge hotellet något att förbättra så är det madrasserna på solsängarna som borde bytts ut för länge sedan.

First time holiday at Koh Samui, Coconut Beach Resort. We stayed in a bungalow with a beach front view. The first few days we didn't leave the resort, it had everything we needed. The restaurant had great food, happy hour from 4-6, beach massage and water sports. Located well, near markets, restaurant and entertainment. I would love to come back again. Nothing to complain about everything was good.

Approx 30mins taxi drive from the airport, this hotel and bungalow complex is ideally located for the beach and town life without spending a fortune. I stayed in a bungalow, and yes it’s a bit tired and dated but was really clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh and good, and excellent value for money - especially the Thai food. I didn’t try any of the western food as I was in Thailand! Having the luxury of the beach and a swimming pool was wonderful, and being such a short walk to the main road for shops, bars and restaurants too was good. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good and friendly budget hotel.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay but were a little dissapointed that the last 4 days of our stay we had jackhammer in room next door! We were not advised or offered to move, so much for a quiet holiday! The rooms are a little tired, bathroom had leaking tap which made floor extremly dangerous. Also cleaners were a bit slack in replacing towels. If u dont leave them on floor, then they dont get replaced. No notice telling you. Im happy to re-use towels but after 3 days i would expect them to be replaced. We always hang our towels. Speaking to other guests, their towels were replaced without question daily?? Towels both room and beach are very worn and torn. We loved the pool, garden and access to the beach with plenty of beds/chairs. Easy to access restaurants, bars and shopping. Staff were very friendly. Would i stay again..yes! We love Lamai Beach and overall Coconut Beach Resort is a good budget place to stay.

Rummet va helt ok men kunde varit fräschare. Det runt omkring va inte omhändertaget, halt pga av alger både vid pool o där man gick. Lever inte upp till priser och inte på antal stjärnor. This was our third trip to this lovely hotel right on the beach at Lamai. It’s excellent value for money, breakfast is much improved since our last visit , the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff remain the best we have come across on our travels. We will be back!

Nice resort on beachfront. We had a superior Seaview room which was very comfortable. Glad we didn’t take a bungalow as we were told they were noisy with lots of mosquitos. Lovely pool with lots of sun lounges and more sun lounges on the beach. Close to everything including shops restaurants and food markets. Enjoyed staying here and extended our stay for another 5 nights.

Top Lage. Direkt am Strand und zwei Minuten zur Geschäftsstraße. Schöner breiter Strand. Auch Schatten am Strand. Traumhafter Blick aufs Meer vom Zimmer im 4. OG. Alles sehr sauber. Zimmer top renoviert. Frühstück direkt am Strand - genial! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und mehrmals verlängert.

Vi bodde i en bungalow rett ved resepsjonen. Jeg vil anbefale en bungalow nærmere vannet grunnet støy om natten når folk kommer og går. Bungalowene er av eldre standard. Det har alt du trenger og rengjøring er bra. Men hvis man ønsker 4-5 stjerners bungalow er dette er godt stykke unna. Resorten ligger rett ved stranden. Dette var fantastisk: Beliggenhet, service, priser i restaurant, maten, bassenget. Men jeg tror ikke jeg ville betalt mer enn det vi betalte i lavsesong grunnet eldre utdatert standard på bungalowene. Hard madrass, men dette gjelder over alt i Thailand. Beliggenheten og servicen veier opp for dette 😊

Room size is big with large balcony. The walls are very thin, I could hear my loud neighbor speaking way too much. The shower water never stays hot, it was constantly changing between very hot and very cold for every single shower. Breakfast is good, very basic breakfast buffet. No fancy coffee at this hotel. Front desk was very helpful for arranging reservations and taxis.

We stayed in one of the superior garden bungalows and I highly recommended. We were 50 steps to the beach, 50 steps (in the other direction) to the pool, and 20 steps to the restaurant and bar. All staff were exceptionally accommodating, but in particular BIG BIG shout out to Kong in the restaurant/bar. We'll definitely be back!

Fint værelse med god plads og dejlig altan mod vandet og med udsigt til pool. Vi boede på 3. sal og kunne skimte vandet mellem træerne. Ingen havudsigten længere nede og nok fin udsigt fra etagen over. Udemærket morgenmad. 100 meter til hovedgaden, men absolut ingen larm at høre på altanen. Tæt på alt. God strand med massage mulighed på matriklen.

Overall clean and fairly well maintained resort. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. The only negative I would say is the price of food and cocktails. You are within walking distance of countless restaurants and bars that have much more competitive prices.

Loved the location and the little cabins on the beach. Restaurant staff were amazing and really helpful. Internet and air conditioning were great too. Hotel is outdated but fits the chilled vibe for the beach. Could do with new beds though and a fan in the bathroom as this was a sauna. A great location on the beache and just off the main road. I would say this is definitely a relaxed, laid back hotel with cute rustic cabins. Food is good and cheap. Cocktails need work but other drinks are great. Plus you are 2 mins from a nice strip. Lamai beach is stunning. Trips from here are really easy.
