This was our little piece of Heaven for a week. We had a villa with a pool, but not one of the ocean view ones. It was perfect. We had privacy and could choose to take a dip at any time day or night. We also enjoyed the private beach with its snorkeling gear and kayaks. Do be aware that the coral is close to the beach, so you really should plan any water sports for high tide. Having said that, there is an amazing variety of fish and coral mere feet from the sand. It is perfect for snorkeling. We also kayaked to Chrystal Beach, which is a low-key public beach.

We absolutely loved staying here for 3 nights. We booked the tropical pool villa with a partial ocean view, and it was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. The bathroom was spacious with a gorgeous stone bath tub. The bed was so comfy - best sleep I've had in months! The sun, moon, & star restaurants had everything we needed with lots of veggie options. I highly recommend going to Star and dine during the sunset - it was absolutely spectacular. The food was delicious and the staff are so kind and helpful, we felt so taken care of. Walking around the property was intense at times because of the steep passageways, but the golf carts were great to transport us for longer distances or to dinner. The beach was just beautiful, clear water, and cleaner than Lamai. However, not great for swimming, as about 2 feet in it becomes quite rocky and dangerous to even walk around really. That said, there is kayaking and snorkeling if you're willing to go past the rocks! The beach was so relaxing and calm, it truly felt like a perfect getaway. The two infinity pools were amazing to swim in with a gorgeous view of the sea. All in all, a 5-star stay! Highly recommend.

Truly amazing accomodations. Only issue we had was the fitness center was small, crowded, and had few machines. Also, we had one load of laundry done and it cost 1500 bhat. Impressively expensive.

Sehr schöne Anlage, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen (wird aber gerade teilweise renoviert). Wir hatten eine Duplex Villa mit Pool und tollem Ausblick auf‘s Meer. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal im gesamten Ressort ist extrem freundlich. Die Anlage wird gerade in einigen Teilen erneuert (ein Restaurant, das Spa und das Fitness-Center). Uns hat es nicht gestört, wobei ich erwartet hätte, dass dies auf Expedia deutlicher steht, v.a. auf der Reservierungsbestätigung. Das Hotel hat uns gleich zu Beginn informiert. Es wurde mit 3000 Baht Guthaben und einer Happy Hour mit kostenlosen Getränken und Snacks entgegen gekommen. Lärmbelästigung gab es bei unserer Villa keine. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We cannot thank all of the lovely staff at Silavadee Resort enough for such a wonderful experience! Their professionalism, genuine warmth and kindness, attentiveness, and attention to detail truly stood out. The resort is beautifully maintained and a perfect tropical escape. We enjoyed a stunning private pool villa with, large deck and balcony overlooking the ocean. Villas are cleaned to the highest standard with towels and linens freshened every day and rooms thoughtfully prepared each night for a comfortable sleep. The beautiful little treats left on your bed at night are a welcome surprise too. A lovely selection of luxe toiletries is provided and topped up every day. There are a wide variety of fun activities on offer at the private beach (we really enjoyed our morning yoga, tai-chi, and pilates classes) and a good range of kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkels available too. In addition to the private pools, there are two big infinity pools with amazing views and pool bars, which make for a great day soaking up the sunshine. There are three great restaurants with fantastic views in the resort. We were spoilt for choice with our meals... Everything we tasted was absolutely fresh, delicious, and well-presented. A full buffet and a la carte breakfast was included with our stay. If you wish to explore beyond the resort, staff ensure transport is a breeze. If you're looking for amazing massages and a little pampering, you cannot miss the in-house spa. We will definitely return!

If you are looking for a private and quiet stay away, this is definitely a great choice. As the main restaurant was closed for renovations, we were limited to the two restaurants. The menu catered to both western and thai offerings, but one may feel that there was not much variety if one was planning to have all meals within the resort (eg. breakfast menu was exactly the same for all days we were there). Room was very comfortable and clean. The tub in the room offered some alternative activity on a slightly rainy day when the pool is not available. Small touches were appreciated - turn down services included local snacks which we got to try, celebratory gestures to celebrate anniversary and a birthday (eg. cake & sparkling wine) were made available complimentary. As the area is a little remote, I'm glad that the resort provided complimentary shuttle services to both Chaweng and Lamai. Also appreciated the hotel app which made communication with various concierge and hotel services very easy. Responses were super prompt. I recommend the massages at the spa - suggest to book in advance to secure a slot.

Lo mejor, la comida y el servicio del personal. Lo peor, sensación de hotel desgastado, áreas sucias, exteriores descuidados en zonas, aparcamiento lleno de material de reforma, no hay ascensor (está en construcción) . Todas las habitaciones cerca de la instalación del ascensor tienen ruidos permanentes, además ese edificio está muy descuidado. Deberían acotar la estancia solo a las zonas donde no se vea afectado el descanso por estas reformas. Una de las piscinas tiene una zona muy descuidada y sucia. Las toallas de piscina tienen manchas de desgaste y lejía, son detalles a cuidar en un hotel 5 estrellas. El personal es amable, eso suma.

Our stay at Silavadee resort in their ocean front villa was amazing- their service, facilities and dining options were exceptional. The resort was clean with lots of staff to keep it well maintained. We had a housekeeping service twice a day, where they would replace our towels and change the bed sheets each night. When we would arrive back to our room from dinner, we would be surprised with cookies or Thai snacks on the bed. On top of this, the complimentary snacks were absolutely phenomenal- in the mini fridge, soda, juice and water was refilled every day, along with dried mango and coconut cookies. We were so well pampered! Their restaurants offer both Western and Asian cuisine. One thing that was particularly memorable was their breakfast- their food ranged from your typical breakfast foods, such as eggs and cereal to Thai rice, noodles and porridge. All the ingredients they use in their food are grown organically and locally. We stayed here for 5 days and didn’t get sick of their food. Another thing that was very admirable was the way the resort preserved and protected the natural environment around it- the pool, boardwalk to the beach etc. was built around the rocks and trees. Overall, our stay at the Silavadee resort was absolutely phenomenal. Their workers are well trained and polite- we were always greeted with warm smiles and offered anything and everything to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you for everything!!! We will return in the near future.

The facility and location is optimal! Thailand strives to offer up some of the best hospitality found anywhere in the entire world, and property and the staff is some of the best anywhere. Everyone seems to love and appreciate their job, and this reflected each time you have an encounter with any employee. You are always greeted a huge smile and a kind hello. The staff at Silavadee was top notch! They took genuine care in our room, transportation to other areas of the hotel and making sure we had everything we needed constantly. They remembered who we were while we were there and cared about our experience. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we felt safe and welcomed. We felt so relaxed! This was the best place we have ever stayed and we’re going to think about this place for a long time. Highly recommend staying here as a couple, solo traveler or with friends: they have so much to offer for any type of traveler

This place is absolutely amazing, beautiful location with beautiful design. It is great place if you are looking for serenity and peace. Staff is very nice and food is great! I wish I could stay longer, as we werent lucky and couldnt swim on the beach the whole stay due to currents. The beach looks stunning! Only one thing can be improved - aervice on breakfast is not very efficient. Out of 8 breakfasts, 3 times we did not receive our order or we received no a la carte breakfast at all. Other times our food was delivered to another table amd then after 2 minutes taken to us - that is a bit unhygienic to me. Other timeswhen the staff had more time everything was great. But the standard should always be the same in the 5 Star hotel. We will be coming back, that breakfast service was still very nice and Silavadee is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at

The two infinity pools were amazing to swim in with a gorgeous view of the sea. All in all, a 5-star stay! Highly recommend.

The facility and location is optimal! Thailand strives to offer up some of the best hospitality found anywhere in the entire world, and property and the staff is some of the best anywhere. Everyone seems to love and appreciate their job, and this reflected each time you have an encounter with any employee. You are always greeted a huge smile and a kind hello. It’s very amazing and endearing.

The views are lovely as are the staff. They are always available and wanting to make sure all is perfect with your stay. The two restaurants (Thai and International) are lovely and fairly priced (apart from the wine). The resort is built into a hillside and so the paths are steep in some places but if that is difficult to walk, the staff offer electric buggy rides to get around. The location is a little secluded but if you download the ‘grab’ app, it is easy to book taxis like Uber.

The property itself is divine. Expensive if you want to have all meals there, spa treatments, and taxis/outings add up too if you’re keen to be out and about. Hiring a scooter or vehicle helps with this and gives some flexibility, as the location is not an easy walk to any attractions. Having said that, the resort has a long list of incredible features - 2x stunning pools, private beach (bring reef shoes), many included activities, happy hour, option to include breakfast (I definitely recommend doing this!) - so depending what kind of holiday you’re after and your budget you may not need or want to leave the resort to explore Samui. The spa and resultants on-site are stunning- also pricey. It’s a top class resort for couples (a bit less so for kids). Our room was stunning and the spa on the deck helped with those 33degree days! One small feedback was our drinks were forgotten a couple of times during happy hour at the pool- no complaints as they were gratis one of those times and staff were very apologetic. Loved the special touches of turn down service, fresh fruit, welcome pack and champagne. It was a very special holiday we will always remember.

If you are looking for a private and quiet stay away, this is definitely a great choice. As the main restaurant was closed for renovations, we were limited to the two restaurants. The menu catered to both western and thai offerings, but one may feel that there was not much variety if one was planning to have all meals within the resort (eg. breakfast menu was exactly the same for all days we were there). Room was very comfortable and clean. The tub in the room offered some alternative activity on a slightly rainy day when the pool is not available. Small touches were appreciated - turn down services included local snacks which we got to try, celebratory gestures to celebrate anniversary and a birthday (eg. cake & sparkling wine) were made available complimentary. As the area is a little remote, I'm glad that the resort provided complimentary shuttle services to both Chaweng and Lamai. Also appreciated the hotel app which made communication with various concierge and hotel services very easy. Responses were super prompt. I recommend the massages at the spa - suggest to book in advance to secure a slot.

Eine Ruheoase mit wunderschönem Meerblick, die dazu einlädt im Resort zu verweilen. Bei uns waren Pools und Strand leer genug, sodass wir kein Bedürfnis hatten eine Poolvilla zu buchen, sondern ein normales Zimmer ausreicht. Die Flugzeuge im Landeanflug können ab und zu etwas stören, aber das lässt sich auf Koh Samui nur teilweise vermeiden. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Essen in den diversen Restaurants sehr lecker. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Not enough superlatives to describe how fantastic our stay at Silavadee was. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, from reception to the fantastic staff down on the private beach. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was one of my best ever. Highly recommend Silavadee for a very relaxing and luxurious stay.

Our stay at Silavadee resort in their ocean front villa was amazing- their service, facilities and dining options were exceptional. The resort was clean with lots of staff to keep it well maintained. We had a housekeeping service twice a day, where they would replace our towels and change the bed sheets each night. When we would arrive back to our room from dinner, we would be surprised with cookies or Thai snacks on the bed. On top of this, the complimentary snacks were absolutely phenomenal- in the mini fridge, soda, juice and water was refilled every day, along with dried mango and coconut cookies. We were so well pampered! Their restaurants offer both Western and Asian cuisine. One thing that was particularly memorable was their breakfast- their food ranged from your typical breakfast foods, such as eggs and cereal to Thai rice, noodles and porridge. All the ingredients they use in their food are grown organically and locally. We stayed here for 5 days and didn’t get sick of their food. Another thing that was very admirable was the way the resort preserved and protected the natural environment around it- the pool, boardwalk to the beach etc. was built around the rocks and trees. Overall, our stay at the Silavadee resort was absolutely phenomenal. Their workers are well trained and polite- we were always greeted with warm smiles and offered anything and everything to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you for everything!!! We will return in the near future.

Não há defeitos nesse local. Os funcionários são de uma simpatia, educação e atenção que eu não havia visto. Tudo muito limpo, confortável e moderno. Tem um aplicativo pra interagir com funcionários do hotel onde vc pode agendar restaurante, tirar qualquer dúvida, pedir o carrinho de golfe pra lhe levar em qualquer lugar do resort e ate pedir travesseiros extras. O café da manhã é espetacular, as piscinas também. E a academia é compacta e funcional. E tem atividades pra você fazer tbm, fora academia. A praia privativa tbm tem todo suporte e conforto do hotel. Ficamos no quarto vila que é gigantesco e tem banheira e piscina privativa. Vale a pena. Compramos cookies de coco feitos lá (perfeitos). A comida/smoothies no restaurante do hotel são bem salgados (mas tudo dentro do padrão do hotel, lógico), mas pra quem está com orçamento contado como nós que estávamos viajando por muito tempo, fica a dica: GRAB food entrega lá. Pedimos nossas refeições e super valeu a pena. ;) Voltaria mil vezes ao Silavadee!

Loved the pool view Villa ! Such an exceptional property and would be a 5 star rating but the only thing I think was that the food choices although an exceptional offering weren’t executed to the level that it read on the menu. The breakfast restaurant staff although really Loveley did struggle with English and sometimes there was a wait or wrong things arrived to the table. We also did a 5 course rooftop dining experience and the seafood was a little overcooked and lacked flavour but the staff and service definitely made up for it. All other things like the villas were AMAZING! the staff and service received was 5 star the only thing that wasn’t up to the 5 star level was food. Would happily return again although
