We were there for appointments at the Mayo Clinic. The hotel and staff were do helpful. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the Clinic. The staff was so helpful in helping us navigate the whole trip.

Hotel was great, however, we arrived late and indoor parking was full. We had to park on the street, which meant, according to hotel personnel, that our car had to be moved before 8 AM. Luckily I had early appointments at Mayo Clinic. Horrible parking situation. Will not return.

We love staying at the Even Hotel as we can walk to downtown Rochester, plus the bike path and pickleball courts are close by. The shower floor had hair in the corner of the shower otherwise I would have given cleanliness 5 stars too.

the floors are thin so it sounded like a herd of elephants upstairs and the short toilets always get me. I never understand when I go to a newer hotel and they don't have chair height toilets these were especially low felt like they should be in a kindergarten class. otherwise it is a lovely hotel. parking should also be free

We found it to be quite noisy at night and could hear people just talking but also footsteps early in the morning. Not good when you’re trying to rest up for a hospital stay or recover after a hospital stay. Otherwise we love staying here. Hopefully they can get that issue fixed.

We had some issues checking in. The first room they gave us was already occupied. Then the next room the key didn’t work. Third try we got in to a room. But, it was right off the elevator. Shower was great, bed was very comfortable. Tv was great too.

The property is great. The front desk staff were especially good. The primary reason for the 4 rating is that the bartender on Saturday/Sunday, was incredibly indifferent to the need of the guests. It appeared as though we are an inconvenience. Also, a dirty martini is not typically served on ice in a martini glass... or sweet tasting.

Very nice hotel, clean and up to date. Staff at check in were very rude. Two staff were at the front desk and while one was checking me in, the other was showing pictures on her phone and having personal conversation which kept the one checking me in from interacting with me. They were rude and short with answering questions about a potential future stay. The staff member who actually checked me in did not tell me my room number, or give me any information about the hotel. Where to find elevators, where breakfast was, parking instructions etc. She handed me the little envelope with my keys and said you're good to go...very disappointing, especially when people are coming to stay here most likely for scary and sensitive situations when potentially visiting the major hospital in the area.

We made a reservation one month ahead for Sat- Wed, then one week prior, added a Sat-Sun (one more day). On Sunday, we got locked out of our room multiple times even after explaining. They were telling us to leave, knocked on door multiple times until they found it. Very unprofessional and worst experience. Then, the manager stated she would 'do something for inconvenience (i never asked), and she never did. Would not return

I liked the heated parking and the shuttle service to Mayo Clinic. Very convenient. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and great for working remotely during all times of the day. The phone was not working in my room for 2 days. I was not given messages when someone called and couldn’t get through. For two days they would send someone up, it wasn’t fixed and the next day no one “knew” it was broken. They offered no accommodation for this. Finally when I said I was checking out, they offered to move me to another room. This is not good customer service and the manager never took any responsibility for following up and getting it fixed. The physical hotel is great but if anything is not right, forget about it.

Two of us stayed for 2 nights and we were issued 4 BF coupons. We did not use 2 coupons on the first day but we presented all 4 coupons on the 2nd day for BF. The cook/waiter said he would accept only 2 coupons. Then we approached the front desk , so he told the cook to accept all 4 but she made 3 BFs and rejected the 4th one. Then we complained again to the front desk which made the cook to accept the 4th one. The cook was lazy.

Loved this property. The little touches are fantastic, including workout mats and balls inside the bedrooms and yoga in the morning. There was a good breakfast, all day coffee, etc. Large, quiet rooms that presumably include the space so that one can do exercise in the morning. It’s a quiet neighborhood next to the mayo clinic, but close to everything else.

Very clean and beautiful property. The one downside is parking ($15 per night in the underground parking garage) and staff (bar specifically) that are not exactly the best. Overall it was extremely clean and a good location for our needs. The bar staff (taking over the restaurant were not caring whatsoever so I would recommend eating in a nearby restaurant. Would probably stay again, but breakfast was also just okay, nothing special

The Even Hotel was in a great location as far as access to Mayo Clinic. My husband and I were able to walk to all of his appointments. The service was excellent and we purchased breakfast both days which was also excellent. The only thing is there is a charge for parking (15.00 per night) which was not included in the price quoted on Hotels.com
