The pool is freezing. We booked this hotel for the kids to swim. The baby pool was absolutely freezing, the larger pool with slide was cold, the only pool anyone - including all the children - even wanted to be in was the hot tub, which was packed full due to the way too low temperature of either larger pool.

The kids loved the pool and waterslide. It's not a waterpark, but the waterslide does set it apart from your standard hotel pool. Basketball hoop was broken in the pool. Everything was clean and overall I'd definitely recommend this hotel. There were a few things that I think could be improved, but they are all pretty minor. First, the workout room was super hot. The thermostat said it was 80F in there, so hot before I even started working out. Also the poolside rooms I would say are not worth the extra money over a regular room. I was thinking it'd be more like a sliding glass door where the kids walk out and go. But really it's still a hallway then through the gate. Our room was a poolside suite and the room was very big and spacious. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was OK but most things were a bit cold. Overall a positive experience and I'd recommend staying at this hotel if you're in the area and want the kids to have a little extra fun in the pool area.

Nice hotel for the most part, however I didn’t need them to come clean each day but I did ask the front desk and the maids for fresh towels. I did not get them. At the hot tub it seems that the children are allowed to use the hot tub, not just one but they sort of took it over. So a little disappointed with that.

Hot tub was broken, which sucked but pool made up for it. Big slide goes fast! Pool isn't that deep or that big but perfect for what we were looking for. Good breakfast, breakfast attend was nice and on top of keeping breakfast well stocked. Front desk guy who checked us in was AWESOME, made check in a breeze and gave lot of helpful information! Definitely will be back!

There were blood stains on the pull out mattress and no mattress liner. I saw this when putting sheets on for my child since they just give you sheets to put on yourself. When I asked for a mattress liner they said they weren’t sure if they had a mattress liner and would deliver one to my room if they did. When I asked to cancel my reservation because of this, they said that I could not since I could only cancel in advance. When I asked if I could cancel due to unsanitary conditions after seeing the room they said I would lose our money since we booked through Expedia. The main check in staff was also very rude about everything. They gave us a room that was slightly cleaner with no blood stains, however pretty shotty conditions. I will not stay here again.

Our check in wasnt the greatest. Front desk staff were talking and ignored us for a few minutes. We were there early and were told our room was ready but there would be a $35 fee to check in early. I have never heard of this! Our room was musty and smelled like dogs.

Everything was great, the condition, the facilities and the people. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of room lighting. In the evening, it was dark in the room because there were hardly any ceiling lights, only small table lamps.

I was "upgraded" to a room with a poolview and I didn't want it, but had no choice. It was extremely loud with the pool right there with the door shut. I could not complete any work. Was told there was no other room to go to and the pool would close at 10pm. It was an overall horrible experience to be there.

I did not like that the rooms were all adjoining rooms, it felt very unsafe when I was put in a room next to a full room with just a door to separate our rooms. The halls were very loud and the lighting was dim. The linens were of basic quality. I did not sleep well as I felt unsafe in this environment.

Wifi was terrible, I stayed for around 12 days and wifi was working not more than 5% of the time, the front desk guys said there was a ticket opened and no estimated time to solve, so far not solved during my stay. If I were aware of this issue I didn't book at this hotel. Wifi was a key for my travel.

I was staying for appointments at the Mayo Clinic. I arrived on Monday and found out that i needed to extend one night due to testing. I spoke to two different people which both said id need to check out and check back in. I was fine with this. On the day i was to move rooms the manager said they were full and i couldn't move as was the agreement. She was very rude and did not care i had appointments at the Mayo and i had been there since Monday. Very Rude. Should be more accommodating to customers who are already established there. Won't be staying there again

There was a large group of people in the hotel and the children were noisy all night long. In turn, this woke me up on multiple occasions, until I decided to get up at 3:30 AM. I was taking an overnight test for the Mayo Clinic and the noise level disrupted the success of this test. When I asked the front desk why they didn't get it under control; she claimed they were giving her prank calls at the front desk. Literal translation, I couldn't get upstairs, walk the floors and admonish those who were unruly and loud. As a result, I asked to be refunded for the last couple of nights and moved to a different hotel. There were also bugs in the room, no room service. It was an awful experience.

Upon a late check in at 11pm the process took much longer than it should have because the front desk attendant was playing games on his phone rather than setting it aside to keep the check in moving quickly. Room key didn't work 3x. Lost a family member to cancer at Mayo so we arrived around 1:30am. One younger kid working, no one else to help. Room dirty but we were exhausted. This room was double the cost of so many others so we expect more. Sink plugged, no water pressure in shower and tub not cleaned. Carpet sticky. Told by front desk in morning the mgr would call. Nothing yet. Told by kid that evening they would talk to us that morning, nope - not available. No comps, no help, just dumbfounded look after our horrible situation we had just encountered after not sleeping for 3 days. We stayed prior at Spark and it was WONDERFUL. Go to Spark people! This place, you can't call me back and make it right, don't care...you are in an area where people need accommodations due to difficult situations (Mayo) BE BETTER. You didn't care at all.

Something has changed at this location where it does not feel safe. There are some sketchy activities going on in the back area of the motel with people coming in after hours at night and hanging out in the stair wells. Also more domestics and door slamming.

Great hotel for keeping kids occupied and their minds off Drs appointments at Mayo. Slide and hot tub are the kids favorites. Connected restaurant has great food. Beds are great, we all slept good. Rooms are outdated but we don’t really care. Only real complaint is the breakfast is one of the worst ones ever. Ran out of pancake batter, cereal options no kid would ever want, needless to say, we didn’t eat anything. But for the price, driving to get food wasn’t that big of deal! That’s a real life human review. We will be back

The hot tub was discusting, dirty, 1st day and never cleaned for 2nd day, towels everywhere clothes left everywhere. Couldnt enjoy or even go in the entire stay. Breakfast was nasty and cold. Smell was horrible. Orange juice was watered down, coffee was very string and yuck.
