This is our favorite hotel in Chicago, especially at the Holidays. It's so beautiful, all done up in pink, gold and silver. The staff is incredible and will go out of their way to satisfy any request, and it's nice that they remember your name! We recommend getting the Club Floor package. It's a fabulous place to hang out and admire the views; the meals and snacks are fantastic, and beverages are available all day. Rooms are large, lovely and spotlessly clean. Make sure to spend time on the warming chairs in the spa!

So we came here for a quick night and the experience was better than what I saw on Expedia itself. The pool was unexpectedly not so cold. The hot tub was super relaxing. We ordered food from the pool room and surprisingly it didn't take long. The room was spacious, bath was fancy. The best parts were that someone randomly gave us cookies for free in our room! Also figured out that there are kids robes!!!! First hotel I've ever seen that has kids robes!!!!! I definitely recommend this hotel!!!!!

We’ve been to many 5 star hotel properties in the area and this is by far the best. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the professional and friendly staff, who made me feel welcomed and well cared for throughout my stay. The service was exceptional everyone was attentive, warm, and truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and functionality. One area for improvement, however, would be the pool. While the facility is gorgeous and relaxing, it would be great if there were a designated kids' section on a different level or other separate space. It would allow families with younger children to enjoy the pool in a way that's comfortable for everyone. Anytime we wanted to use the pool it was packed with little kids. It would be nice to have an adult section. Overall, The Langham Chicago is an outstanding hotel, with a combination of luxurious accommodations and incredible service that sets it apart. I look forward to returning soon!

The service at the Langham is incredible; from check in to check out. It is a very clean, beautiful property. All the amenities- room service, housekeeping, concierge services, the indoor pool- all top notch. Spacious rooms. Amazing for kids. We were extremely happy with this hotel.

The Langham is an excellent hotel; the rooms are elegant and well-appointed and some of the staff members are truly exceptional. In particular, Miranda in the Tea Room, Cheri at the Bar, and the Spa Manager. There was also a warm and attentive Armenian server in the restaurant during breakfast service, who was exceptional and whose name I have unfortunately forgotten. The pool - which used to be an oasis of calm - was inundated with children who (understandably) took over the whole area with their antics and whose shouts and screams made it impossible to be there for more than 5 minutes. The entire area around the pool had so much water from their splashing that it was actually very treacherous to walk and swimming was not an option because of how many children were in the pool. That was a real disappointment; there should surely be a designated time for adult-only pool access to avoid this scenario.

The Langham Chicago is one of my most favorite hotels and this stay was no exception. What I will say is that the hotel is starting to show its age in a few places and needs a refresh. Examples: (1) Spa - wet sauna: the containment of the system is cracked, stained and steam is coming out of the sides where the seals have failed. It needs to be replaced. There is significant rust and some broken tiles; (2) not in my suite, but my friends, One of their sinks was cracked from side to side also the tables were nicked, scratched, etc. and this was in the suites. This is the same decor as we've seen for nearly a decade and it just needs to be refreshed/redone. The staff is fantastic and the cleanliness is really excellent. Best cocktails in the bar/lounge.

I had an excellent experience at Chuan spa. My 2 day stay at the hotel was excellent. All service members were attentive and prompt, especially the night front desk, night valet and Edna, the spa attendant. I quite enjoyed my spa services. Private dining food options were great, and on time. Price point lined up with the services received.

The staff was amazing! They were very warm and attentive. I really enjoyed Julian. He was so kind to everyone. Also, the hotel was very clean. A definite plus. It was close to shopping, delicious eatery’s, transportation and most of all safe.

If I could give this amazing hotel 6 stars, I would. My husband and I visited Chicago for the first time and were fortunate enough to book our stay at The Langham. It was one of the top two best places we have ever stayed ( the other was in Turks and Caicos). Starting at the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out, it was a first class experience. From the exceptionally clean rooms and common areas, with contemporary decor and finishes to the amazing food and beverage choices, we were highly impressed. Topping all of this off was the amazing staff-yep, truly outstanding. Location was perfect, totally walkable to most things you would want to see in the city center. Gorgeous views. Stellar experience.

I had an excellent time. However, the end of my message felt rushed, which was disappointing. Also, my soaking tub was not thoroughly cleaned, which put me off because of the cost of my stay; otherwise, everything was great.

The only now “outdated” feature since the 2013 opening is the relative lack of connectivity of the TVs or offering of streaming services, which are better at much less expensive chain hotels.

We booked 3 rooms. 2 out of the 3 were ready much earlier than we expected which was great! We found it a little funny however that the rooms upon arrival had another guests name on the welcome TVs and also had a sparkling juice with card to this person also. Kids got a kick out of it and we were calling ourselves the Bishops for the day. We did an overnight staycation trip with 4 teens and 2 adults. At time of booking and also at a check in call two days prior to arrival we had requested that at least 1 of the rooms to have double beds and the request via text was granted, or so I thought, however upon check in that was said to not be possible due to the ‘holiday weekend’. We managed so no biggie there. We made use of pool, teens enjoyed. Pretty bar/restaurant atmosphere across from lobby. Super fun signature cocktails! We filled out a breakfast card to hang on door for morning breakfast room service and had a few missing items upon arrival but staff was attentive and quickly fixed the errors. Overall we loved our stay. I cannot get enough of the front desk ceiling and the overall beautiful decor! Only suggestion we can make is the mattresses were a little on the overly firm and lumpy side but ‘cest la vie’! Thank you Langham! Your hotel is exquisite and the staff are amazing! We look forward to our next stay!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Langham, Chicago! The room was spacious and luxurious and also clean and modern. The bathroom was beautiful, and we loved the wet room with separate bathtub and shower. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Our room had a beautiful view of Chicago and the river! The concierge (Philippe, I believe) was extremely helpful and polite. I would love to stay here again next time I'm in Chicago!

The club lounge was amazing, the hotel itself is beautiful, the spa is out of this world and the fitness center was perfect. Not to mention, the concierge (Phillip?) should win a best concierge in the industry award as he single handedly saved my wife birthday when the show we were planning to attend with 8 friends cancelled hours before. We dropped off a suit for dry cleaning the morning of our arrival and told them we needed it by 7pm the following day for a dinner reservation. They informed us that would be no problem at all. After confirming at 4, that it would be in our room by 7, we waited until after 7 and it still had not arrived. We were told it was being sent up and on its way. 7:15, still no suit. We went down and spoke to the front desk who said it was still on its way. Finally arrived at 7:30 making us late to our reservation. I would never expect this experience and service at a 5 star hotel. It was completely inexcusable.

Another great stay at the Langham my home away from home. The club level is spectacular, the gym has a wonderful sauna and Phillipe has to be the greatest concierge on the planet. He got us dinner reservations to Bavettes despite it being sold out. Already looking forward to our next stay.

This hotel is located right on the river and walkable to anything in the area. We took a quick Lyft to a church for a wedding then walked to River Roast for the reception. Beautiful hotel. Great amenities, comfortable room!! Definitely a treat!

This hotel is right on the river with convenient walking access to nice restaurants and shopping. It is a short car ride ( Lyft or Uber) to the mag mile. The doorman greated us and sent us to the second floor to check in. We had a wonderful room with a view of the river. The workout room was very nice and clean ( located on the 4th floor spa area). Everyone was nice and friendly and the service was great!! I would definitely come back again.

This is our favorite hotel in Chicago, especially at the Holidays. It's so beautiful, all done up in pink, gold and silver. The staff is incredible and will go out of their way to satisfy any request, and it's nice that they remember your name! We recommend getting the Club Floor package. It's a fabulous place to hang out and admire the views; the meals and snacks are fantastic, and beverages are available all day. Rooms are large, lovely and spotlessly clean. Make sure to spend time on the warming chairs in the spa!

Service is on point checked me in early everything was great but there are some details that should be changed as for the steam room the roof you can see the tears and cracks, and pool was dirty on the bottom should be cleaned daily. Another standpoint when I was calling for room service 3 times I did not receive the correct items, so just some minor changes that need to be made especially for being Forbes 5 star, but at the end of the day the property feels special and was a great stay.

We booked 3 rooms. 2 out of the 3 were ready much earlier than we expected which was great! We found it a little funny however that the rooms upon arrival had another guests name on the welcome TVs and also had a sparkling juice with card to this person also. Kids got a kick out of it and we were calling ourselves the Bishops for the day. We did an overnight staycation trip with 4 teens and 2 adults. At time of booking and also at a check in call two days prior to arrival we had requested that at least 1 of the rooms to have double beds and the request via text was granted, or so I thought, however upon check in that was said to not be possible due to the ‘holiday weekend’. We managed so no biggie there. We made use of pool, teens enjoyed. Pretty bar/restaurant atmosphere across from lobby. Super fun signature cocktails! We filled out a breakfast card to hang on door for morning breakfast room service and had a few missing items upon arrival but staff was attentive and quickly fixed the errors. Overall we loved our stay. I cannot get enough of the front desk ceiling and the overall beautiful decor! Only suggestion we can make is the mattresses were a little on the overly firm and lumpy side but ‘cest la vie’! Thank you Langham! Your hotel is exquisite and the staff are amazing! We look forward to our next stay!

I had an excellent experience at Chuan spa. My 2 day stay at the hotel was excellent. All service members were attentive and prompt, especially the night front desk, night valet and Edna, the spa attendant. I quite enjoyed my spa services.
