We had a wonderful stay- check-in was easy, and it was nice to have carts available for transporting our luggage. The apartment was well-equipped, although guests should know to bring all cooking supplies needed, as salt and pepper were the only ingredients on hand. It’s also right in the middle of everything, whether you want to walk north to the river north area or south around the loop or east to Millenium Park.And the apartment is nicely furnished, very clean and relatively spacious for a downtown apartment. We had such a wonderful stay here! The location can not be beat! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was clean and comfortable, and the host was very helpful and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Parking is right across the street…very easy and convenient. The rooftop area was nice with beautiful views. We hope to come stay again soon!

We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Chicago! The apartment is guarded by a front desk bell hop 24/7, and you can’t enter the elevators without a key fob. The apartment building was quiet and felt safe. You’re one block from Michigan Ave, with plenty of places to eat and shop. The owners answered concerns and questions quickly. Expect train, traffic and emergency vehicle noise at all hours. But the bedrooms are equipped with white noise machines and ear plugs. We got used to it and slept great despite the noise. Thank you for an excellent stay!

This spot turned out to be an ideal place to stay with our family in order to shadow a school orchestra trip as well as get in some site seeing :)The views were amazing, the front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly, and the parking was easy (host suggested some spots). Copious restaurant options were nearby as well as basic groceries, and of course, tons of shopping. The only destination not walkable was the Science and Industry museum.Note there are 2 bathrooms with this place which was a big plus for us. The coffee maker is drip so be prepared with ground coffee if you roll in late on the first night. Earplugs are thoughtfully provided as the train is nearby.All in all, we look forward to our next trip to Chicago and would stay here again!

Overall nice unit in an exciting location. For the price I would have expected slightly better amenities. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived, and shampoo but no conditioner. The property was in a little bit of disrepair - we didn’t have children with us but the door to the closet with the housekeeping chemicals didn’t shut and I would have been super nervous.

Their response, finally, was that it was told to me the water drains slowly and such info can be found in the Welcome Email….which you get AFTER YOU BOOK AND PAY!!!Train. All night long. They make it seem bearable but between the constant trains and lights flashing into the windows PAY MORE SOMEWHERE ELSE

The place was as advertised. It was clean, and well stocked. Location was excellent; blocks from the river and river wall. We ate at 3 James Beard restaurants which were all within walking distance Pictures were representative. The Staywell was responsive and attentive. They allowed for a 2 hour late checkout ( at no cost ) when my flight was unexpectedly delayed The only drawback was its proximity to the above ground train. That not withstanding, its a great place to stay.

3 couple’s spending a long weekend in Chicago. The location is PERFECT! For the price, we expected things to be a bit nicer and a bit cleaner. We arrived to a broken glass sitting among the rest of glasses, a sliding door off the track and the only television not work. Overall it was good.

Really enjoyed the apartment and location. I would have given 5 stars but I learned in the middle of a lousy heatwave in late April that the AC doesn’t work until the building turns on the ‘chiller’ (whatever that means) on 5/1. That meant that the place got progressively hotter each day we stayed. By Tuesday we were roasting and the host suggested we open windows (despite the listing saying it was forbidden) which we did eventually. The windows are bizarre and nearly impossible to shut. But that did the trick and it cooled off the place quickly. But let me say that global warming is not going away so I suggest you consider amending the 5/1 start date. Otherwise, it was wonderful. Thank you again.

Great property which housed my family of five quite comfortably. The best part is the location. The building is within walking distance of virtually all Chicago loop attractions. We skated in millennial Park, walked the miracle mile, visited the Field Museum, and attended a Bears game all within walking distance. This was a great property tucked away but still a short walk to theater, transportation and attractions. If you are are architecture nerd, you can’t beat the views from every window. The lobby and security personnel were welcoming. The host was super responsive to any questions. The decor is warm and it feels very comfortable to relax after a busy day exploring Chicago. I would book with this host again.

This location is perfect for staying in the Loop and being close to Michigan Ave, deep dish pizza, Millenium Park, the L, and ride shares. As the description states, there is train noise, but that is part of the Loop living! It was good to be prepared, though, and the white noise makers, the fans, and the ear plugs helped although we were used to it after 1 night.
