One of our rooms had a rattling smoke detector and a dresser drawer that would not stay closed. They did accommodate us and give us a different room. I noticed that the 2nd floor washing machine and ice machine were out of order. The pool heater was broken and the indoor pool was as cold as ice. Linens were nice!

Didn't like that Handicap Rooms are on the 4th Floor??? Not easy access, if you have to bring in multiple items. Pool was freezing.Staff said heater was broke!? Breakfast was ok. NO BACON :( Juices all tasted watered down.

We booked this hotel specifically for grandkids to have “ overnight” vacation with swimming and breakfast! Room (suite) perfect size but Pool so very disappointing? No wonder no one was at pool when we arrived as the hotel appeared busy as the water wasn’t heated , guessing 70-72 degrees and room not much warmer? The breakfast was a plus but pool definitely not especially booking for this reason!

No complaints. Very quiet hotel, very polite and helpful staff. Family friendly, kids had a great time at the pool. Lots of stuff around and close to Kings Island. Room was fine. No bugs. Very pleased with our 3 night stay.

The hotel was under a remodel and smoke alarms went off a few times and scared me and my dog. The room was plain did have a spider issue and towels had a few stains but were replaced.Breakfast buffet was nice. Need to monitor noise on floors a little better. Overall an okay experience but expected better for the price.

The hall carpet is in patches & half were missing. Looks a mess. Room was dirty, stains on walls, bathroom old, mold in part of shower, sink clogged. Dust everywhere. There is NO WAY this is an 8.8 out 10. Would NEVER stay here again or recommend it.

It was fine. Quiet. Had two queens and the one bed was pretty squeaky. No hot water one night. Bathtub faucet was tight and difficult to turn the knob. Loved the blinds, really kept the light out. Breakfast was only okay. The breakfast area chairs are in rough shape. The breakfast area is way too small. They need two people working breakfast as only one couldn’t keep up. Staff was nice.

After parking our car at the exit closest to our room, we found that the door keys would not unlock that door. The only way back in was through the lobby. The breakfast bar was good. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The refrigerator in our room did not work.

Staff very nice. Checked in on Sun. Room so hot could not stand. Thermostat on wall not accurate. Thermo in unit in room incorrect too. We had to put a/c on our whole stay to stand temp in room. TV not getting most stations. Reported both issues to desk. Maintenance not available on Monday. No maintenance all week. Option offered change of room. Since staying 4 nights and traveling with another family member we choose not to move all of our things since we wanted to be able to adjoin to elderly family member. We feel the items should be inspected before renting room. I would like to say the staff were very friendly and nice but renting rooms with broken heating and TV which needs repairs Is indicate of poor quality control.

You can hear every time someone takes a step, which is not a big deal because it’s a hotel. I expect it. After only being there for 40 minutes we received a call that there were complaints about my children running in our room. It was 3:25pm. My kids were excited to be out of the car and stretch their legs, but every step they took made a noise even when they walk. Felt like we had to tiptoe around the room the rest of the time. All night we heard loud steps from above us and around us.

The staff was very welcoming upon our arrival. The hotel room was spacious and the bed comfortable, however, learned a lesson to switch rooms if assigned to one across from pool. Loud bunch of kids and parents using it until 11pm one night—not enjoyable at all. My biggest complaint is that water temperature fluctuated from hot to cold to warm while showering (never experienced that in a hotel before).

Hotel was pretty clean. Room was recently renovated but did show wear and tear. They skipped out on the bathroom renovation. Tub, doors old, chipping paint, wall splatters under sink, wood vanity faded- old. Ceiling of bathroom cracking and chipping.

At checkin they couldn’t fined my paid reservation. But the manager went through the computer and finally found it. Both the manager and the front desk person were great. Then we were given a room, the room was nice and the beds were great. But when we went to leave the room. The door would not lock. I went back to the front desk and told the employee about the door. He came and checked the door and couldn’t get it to lock. We went back to the front desk, and he immediately gave us a new room. We had a few problems at first, but it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. And they were very friendly and professional. We loved the area, was very convenient. We will be back. Thanks

The check in process was unwelcoming and slow. Could not figure out how to take my payment because I went through hotels.com which led to a phone call at nearly midnight to come back down to the desk to rerun my card (3rd time). Also the shower had ZERO hot water and the room smelled damp.

Room was nice but check in staff was horrible. We had been at Kings Island all day got to the hotel at 930pm & even though we booked through expedia & had our room paid for the front desk worker tried to charge us for our room again. I told him I already paid through Expedia when he said “oh ok, well then I’ll just charge your card a refundable $10 incidentals charge.” Looked at my bank statement & sure enough he lied, I had two transactions for the hotel room. It also took him 40 mins to get us our room. When questioned he kept saying “its the computer system thats taking awhile.” We was also unable to connect to the wifi with our kids tablets & our cell phones b/c it asked for last name & room number & when provided it said we didn’t exist. So again, the guy checking us in either spelled our last name wrong or gave us the wrong wifi info.

Overall the property was good. Just a few minor complaints…the person at the check in was less than thrilled to be there and it clearly showed. Also, when we stepped out of our room in the morning, we put the “Do not disturb” sign on the door so that housekeeping wouldn’t go in our room until we checked out. We came back from breakfast and the house keeper was in our room! I didn’t like that at all!

Front desk was welcoming and check in process was quick. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was the best we have had in a long time. The variety was expansive and I loved that they offered turkey sausage and fried egg patties, instead of the usual scrambled eggs. The kitchen staff was always around making sure items were replenished. They were working very hard to make sure our soccer team had everything they needed! All in all, a great stay. We have booked again for this weekend!

We spent a weekend in Cincinnati and this hotel, though on the outskirts was perfect. It had great food options nearby and the room was very nice (the bathroom was dated but nothing that would cause concern). We used the pool. It was quiet during our visit but we went in the off season for nearby King Island, don’t know if I’d stay here then, unless I was specifically going there.

Easy to find. Unbelievable restaurant options within 3-4 minute drive (at least 20). The staff was attentive and friendly, got us checked in quickly. Room was spacious and clean. We had the pool and exercise area to ourselves maybe because we were there on a weekday. The breakfast was also better than we expected. Next time we go to King's Island we will definitely stay here!

Breakfast was great, with plenty of options. Coffee was fresh ground by the cup, rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Soft pillows deflate and can cause sore neck and shoulders, though. Best to use firmer pillows or bring yiur own. Pool area looked clean and inviting, although we didn't end up with time to use it. Overall, a good place to stay and would do so again.

The room was clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was under stocked and a disappointment. Staff couldn't keep up. They say serve until 9:30, we got there at 9:10, nothing left but bread and cereal and they weren't concerned. The breakfast staff acted like they had somewhere else to be and wanted to close ASAP.
