Nice hotel with full kitchen, and full size fridge with freezer but bring your own everything for the kitchen. Breakfast was pretty good with make your own waffles, sausage, eggs etc. Pool was very cold so we didn’t use it. Room was in decent condition but shows dripped

The property was run down. Outdoor gazebo was falling apart and had hanging baskets with no flowers that had seen better days. The room could do with some updates and fresh paint. The room was clean though. Outside there was a weird smell that I couldn’t describe. Quite putrid. Staff were very friendly. I’m vegan so breakfast was very limited for myself. My son ate and said it was good.

i paid 266.00 and it wasn’t worth that. The pool sides were slimy, that was the main reason I took the kids, to swim. It was dirty. Rooms needed update. I could have gone to great wolf lodge for an extra 50.00

About what I expected for a "budget plus" hotel. The bed was very hard and the pillows not what I'd call hotel quality. The marijuana smell was fairly prevalent in the lobby. But the price was right. The property was fairly clean but oddly they must have just did some work in the shower and you could still see the repair folks measurements in pencil on the wall, lol. The floors are very thin and you could hear kids tommy running the halls above. The free breakfast was pathetic.

The exterior of the property's beautification was lacking. It didn't look like the picture on the website. Roon 102 smelled of mold. Dirty carpet in the hallways and hotel room. We had several bugs in our room. We had to move out of the room late Friday night. Children on 2nd floor running throughout the night. Was told by front desk worker, that kids will be kids.

There were blood stains on blanket. Bugs all over the room. We didn’t even stay our second night and changed hotels. No refund for the unused night after showing pictures of blood, food stains on walls and light fixtures. This shouldn’t even be an option on Expedia’s app. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

My stay at the hawthorn is always wonderful! We love this hotel. You have your own kitchen, a living room bedroom connected. It’s very spacious. Clean. The staff are always polite and very professional.

Our room was huge, but the hotel is definitely in need of a refresh. The paint was peeling, the stove and fridge had rust, there was only like 1 plate and a fork in the ‘kitchen’. On a good note, bed and pillows were super comfy.

Room was was clean with the comforts expected from a suite. Microwave, two burner electric range, dishes and utensils, refrigerator with and working ice machine. The only thing the room didn’t have anywhere whatsoever were cups. Whether it be for coffee or just drinking water, no cups whatsoever. Comfortable bed excellent air conditioning quiet room.

The room is pretty ran down and the furniture has a lot of wear. My worst complaint is that kids or someone kept knocking on the door and running all through the night! We probably got woken up at least 6 times! I complained to the desk multiple times but nothing was done about it and it continued.

I had to call down to the front desk at least five times between 11:00 and midnight because people were screaming and yelling above us on the third floor and the front desk did absolutely nothing about it It went on until 2:00 in the morning and then started again at 7:15 It was extremely uncourteous and I was a huge fan of the property up until yesterday

When i asked for more towels i was told no your room comes with two towels and two wash rags no need for extras. Then i was also charged for smoking in the room when i checked i told them it smelled like cigarettes no other rooms were available as i was told i kept the room. On top of that we came just to swim and didn’t even stay at the room i would not recommend this hotel

Our first room was comfortable and clean. The furniture was older and the TV was situated a bit hinky to the bed, but that didn't cause any problem. The difficulty arose when I began hearing an extremely annoying-to-my-ears noise. I thought it was coming from outside the building; but when I went outside, I didn't hear it. I asked the desk clerk if she could come up to the room to check it out. She discovered it was the A/C unit. It was too warm outside to go without A/C. She very kindly offered us another room...she even upgraded it to a king-size suite instead of the queen size suite we had. I felt very cared for and had a good night's sleep in the 2nd room. The breakfast offering was adequate, but minimal. The cost of the room was less than other surrounding places, so it was not a big deal. Knowing this, I will bring a few breakfast items with me next time. It's quite nice to have a kitchen in the room. We would definitely stay there again...especially nice if we would be spending more than one night. We didn't use the indoor pool, but it looked like it would be enjoyable. Good location. Easy access from highway. Several restaurants close by. Clean. Good value.

It was ok for a place to lay your head for the night. I hated the breakfast. I was expecting bacon or sausage, which it was your typical bales, cereal, waffle mix. The eggs looked funny and the potatoes were old and hard. Today is my birthday, just wanted some speacial for my staycation. Money has been tight, so I wanted to do something for myself. I didn't want to go out for breakfast, whick is what I did.
