Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago

Very friendly staff, hotel needs renovation. Pool dated some stones missing by pool & ceiling needs painting.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Staff service was very high quality and the lobby and common areas were very clean and well organized. Gym was modern, big and clean. The actual room had some marks on the walls and a buzzy air handling vent in the master. An automated lighting system that was a bit dim and difficult to use. We would stay again. Mini bar and snacks were high quality. We would stay again.

Fabulous hotel. The gym and spa are truly great. The rooms are large. The water pressure is perfect and so is the location. I have stayed in many luxury hotels and this one is the finest.

Did not like that the pool was rented out while I was there for a private function and was unable to be utilized by persons staying in the hotel. That was an inconvenience that was not compensated.

I love this hotel. Just wish they would update the locker room/spa pool areas. Seems worn out a bit.

Everything about the hotel was outstanding. From the moment that we got taken care of by the bellhop, to the check-in process, to the room, was outstanding. My only complaints… the valet parking can be a bit slow, and costs $80 per night. Although the valet people are very kind. And second, the restaurant has good food, however, breakfast plates average $30 each, and despite the high-quality, it just doesn’t make any sense to eat breakfast there. The dinner prices are fair, for being at a nice Chicago restaurant, but the breakfast is really a surprise when you look at a $30 charge for two scrambled eggs and some potatoes. But the facility and service is 10/10. Will be back for sure.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff are so kind and accommodating. Everything is clean and there are so many options for food at all hours and a spa. Parking is very convenient and attached to the hotel. If you go during Christmas time, they have one of the elevators decorated as a gingerbread house, it even has a lovely gingerbread smell. Room service is prompt, and the generous pour on the glass of wine was definite bonus.

Spa with indoor pool, sauna and eucalyptus steam room was nice, along with fitness center and massage available. Terrace 16 restuarant and bar with amazing views of River and skyline a bonus as well!

Excellent, except the pool was closed- fortunately we were able to use the pool across the street.

First night we went to bed about 11 pm. When we got in bed it was really scratchy. Discovered a bloody mattress pad on top of the sheet below the comforter, see picture attached. The next day, we

Perfect stay. Great hotel. Only complaint is the death spot in the bedroom. Gross looking stain on the floor: other than that- perfect.

The food was wonderful, only note was the robes had stains on them we even requested new ones and the new ones also had stains on them. We also requested a larger robe and they stated they didn’t have one but when we got to Trump Spa they provided us with one. Other than that beautiful hotel.

The view for the fireworks was amazing! I didn't like the fact that my wife and I both woke up with some kind of bug bites on our lower legs and on top of our feet!

Was a two hour delay getting in, found out 3 hours later trump himself was on property. Shower had moldy caulk chunks in the floor, and there was dirty dishes left in the sink when we walked in. Otherwise, seemed to be a nice place. Just expect better.

We are not MAGA people, so no political connotations in this review. This is simply a spectacular hotel. We travel very often and this is the best five star experience I have had in a very long time. We chose it because the rooms are enormous, as large as an apartment and much larger than the four seasons or others in Chicago and certainly in New York. The staff went out of their way to do nice things for us and knew us by name on our first visit. Reminds me of some of the five star hotels in Asia that are the best in the world. Truly unmatched, well done to the entire staff. A different level of service.

Room was good-sized, quiet, and with great amenities. Oh, and the view was phenomenal as well. We had a very memorable experience.

Large rooms, excellent view and location

From the outside, its stunning. On the inside, its just meh. My room had scuffed up walls, below average toiletries, and was meagerly appointed, in general. On the plus side, the room was large and had a great view of the river. The fitness center was pretty nice, but overall the property seems a bit "long in the tooth". Many, many nicer hotels nearby.

Amazing hotel. Large well done rooms with high end feel. Floor to ceiling windows with high ceilings giving you amazing views.

The room was gorgeous with an excellent view of the city. The window actually appears bigger in person due to the high ceiling of the room. The room was fully stocked with a small kitchen. The bathroom was large and spacious and included a TV in the mirror. The only thing I didn’t like in the bathroom was that it didn’t fully close. It’s a sliding door with a gap and you can hear whoever is in the restroom which can make it awkward with a partner. A member of the staff made my girlfriend and I uncomfortable from the rude looks they were giving us. My partner and I look young and we had on our backpacks to go venture into the city. One of the older employees downstairs kept staring at us in a rude manner like we didn’t belong there. It made my partner really uncomfortable and tainted the experience.

Great staff. Easy check in, got room early as it was ready on check in day which was amazing to us as my husband was there to do the marathon was great having the extra downtime

Room wasn’t ready at 4:15pm when we arrived… they gave us a $100 to spend in the hotel but it still wasn’t ready an hour later. Since they didn’t have a room with two queen beds like we asked for, they moved us into a king and said they would send a rollaway bed - which they forgot. Got it all sorted out but it was a hassle.

We were celebrating our engagement and I called earlier in day to confirm everything. Was told room would be ready at 4 PM. We arrived room was not ready until 530 PM. Luggage was on a “rush” to our room. Luggage arrived at 6:05 PM. We had dinner reservations at Chicago Cut at 6 PM that had to be canceled. Spoke to the manager on duty at hotel who asked me what I wanted and in the end he did nothing. For the amount of money I spent on the room I expected so much more. Will not be back. Massive disappointment.

Bad room service, bad dinner/breakfast service at the restaurants and no house keeping - had to ask for it - and when they finally did they didn’t restock the bar or towels.

I didn’t like the staff insinuating that I couldn’t afford a bottle of Dom. I didn’t like the 3 calls to my room to make sure I understood what the price was. I didn’t like how Brandy told me the reason for doubting my ability to pay for a $700 bottle of champagne was because of what my “profile” said about me. I would love to see this profile they had on me. I did not appreciate being embarrassed in front of my wife. We spent close to 10K at this place for the 7 days we spent there. We chose to stay at Trump Intl in Chicago because we can afford to do so. I understood before checking in that it would be very expensive. I did not know that a profile would be built about me and I would be judged by the staff according to it. I will never stay at a Trump hotel again. There are too many hotels to chose from to have to deal with this kind of treatment.

Extremely expensive. Under different management and you can tell that the customer service is not what it used to be. I haven't been there for 6 years. I was very disappointed in the service. I felt that I had to argue for for everything except getting ice up to the room and the valet was great.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff — everyone was kind, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we did experience an issue with housekeeping, as our room wasn’t cleaned for two days. However, when I brought it to the attention of the front desk, they promptly addressed the situation and kindly removed our bar charges, which was very much appreciated. The hotel bar is one of the main attractions and definitely worth checking out!

The staff are very rude. Had troubles at checking in and they were very inflexible about the dwposite fee. I paid already in advanced for the room and wanted the authorization of incidentals on another charge and they refused. They took 200 usd per night. I had already incured lots of charges on my card and wanted to split a card for payment and one for authorisation of incidentals. At check out the lady printed me a blank paper and only later when i demanded an invoice she did print it. She was very rude One last thing, with the pre authorization, they did a double charge which locked two of my credit cards and that made me very upset and the manager was not very apologetic. The front staff need more training

They misbilled me for things I didn't use, the phone in the room didn't work, and they lost a package of mine. It's a nice hotel but it's chaotic and understaffed.

I recently stayed at the Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The service throughout my stay was consistently excellent—attentive without being overbearing. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile, and it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making my stay enjoyable. I also had the chance to dine at Rebar, and the food and views were equally impressive. The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, and it made for a perfect evening. The location is ideal—walking distance to the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, and plenty of restaurants and shops. Despite being in the heart of downtown, the hotel felt like a peaceful retreat above the city. Whether you're visiting Chicago for business or pleasure, I highly recommend the Trump International Hotel. It’s a standout experience in every way—luxury, location, service, and comfort all rolled into one.

Beautiful views and incredibly clean environment. Perfect location for the lake, shopping, park, eating, you name it!

I chose a river view room and it was a spectacular view from the 26th floor. The location was convenient for my Chicago plans for dining and sightseeing. Very professional and courteous front desk staff.

Love Trump Tower Chicago, walkable to Michigan Ave shopping and many restaurants. The restaurants in Trump Tower are fantastic, themselves. The staff were so helpful and friendly! Get a room with a river view; it’s worth it!

Wonderful views all around. The rooms are spacious and have a luxurious feel. The bed is amazing and comfortable. However, there was dust on the headboard and the walls; the fridge's baseboard was damaged and missing, and the garment steamer did not work and leaked all over our nice garments when we attempted to use it. The restaurant had an unimpressive menu, and the items we ordered were not flavorful or cooked to the specifications, and the 24 Hour cocktail was mediocre at best.

The Trump Chicago Hotel was a magnificent stay for our honeymoon! The staff and service were unmatched in friendly professionalism. The room was spacious and modern. The location was perfect. Thank you for a great stay!

Property was excellent and clean. The check lady/person who also brought up our bags 30min later was extremely sweet The service for brunch was terrible no one even came to the table to bring water until 30min and that’s after we asked the hostesses multiple times to please get our server. When the food came it was really good, but the trump needs to work on either hiring more people to take care of guests or figuring out a way to get the current staff to multitask

Loved the beautiful view of the river out to the lake. Everything was beautiful and high end. The pool facilities were indoor with a nice view. We loved the restaurant food and view.

Phenomenal experience at Trump Hotel. Beautiful. Plenty of space for 4 teenagers and mom and dad. Incredible city view!! Gym was amazing. Spa amazing. Rooftop restaurant beautiful. Little slow on service up there but not awful. Overall would stay again!!!! For sure :)))
