The hotel lobby and hallways were clean. The carpet in our room didn’t look vacuumed. The tables looked worn down. The bathroom was nice, but the bed wasn’t all that comfortable. Overall it was a quiet hotel on the 28th floor, even during Chicago Marathon weekend. The pool area wasn’t great, looked worn out, and the water was cold. Pool was also narrow.

I did not find a menu of amenities in the area. I could not find a restaurant to eat in within walking distance. It was a very long walk from the hotel to the venue in McCormack Place. It might be nice to offer wheelchair rides. The swimming pool was closed for repairs.

I was told the parking garage was temporary full. To park in Lot A which was across the street. After unloading and driving to parking lot A. There was a sign saying parking lot was Closed. Went back and just parking in the actually hotel lot which was not full. Wasted 20mins because of unnecessary detour.

Parking is a mess. When we first pulled in, the line for parking was at a complete stop. Making it difficult to get in and out of the hotel. The lot next to the hotel was full so we parked across the street. I didn't have 2 cars on my reservation. Describing how we should park should have been a lot easier than it was. Additionally, the hotel needs more signs as to where to go.

The room I was in had a very strong overpowering smell of urine. I spoke to the front desk about it and they made a note to tell manager. I was instructed to discuss with Expedia for an accommodation to be given because the hotel manager said I prepaid through Expedia and not with them. I’d like to know what you will do for a credit for the two nights I stayed there since the hotel said it might be the pipes and there was nothing they could do but only Expedia could accommodate me.

The location of this property was great for our needs. Check in went quickly and the beds were comfortable. However, the staff was unfriendly, and we had issues in the room. The light in the bathroom flickered constantly like a strobe light so we couldn't turn it on, and the refrigerator kept our items just slightly above room temperature. For the price of the room, I expected better.

I prepaid for my stay, but upon checkout, was charged approximately $50 for two nights' "destination charge." This hotel is in a safe area. We walked to Soldier Field to a concert and it was a straight shot and I never felt unsafe. This hotel had everything you would need-restaurants, bar, etc. I highly recommend

When we arrived the desk person was so great! But she pointed out we were in a handicap room and offered to upgrade us to a better room. We went from a king room to a room with 2 queens right next to the elevator with a noticable slant to the floor, everywhere. We even downloaded a level app and sure enough, slanted! I have vertigo and it was awful any time I moved around the room. Also, elevator noise all night. Not an upgrade. In the morning (Sunday) every restaurant was closed in the hotel leaving every guest to enjoy microwave breakfast from the in hotel market. It was the equivalent of gas station food. We chose this hotel for the location and restaurants, unfortunately we were not able to eat there. There are also no restaurants nearby. We would not have picked this location knowing everything in house would be closed. Every staff person we met was lovely and as helpful as can be. That's a plus.

A clean hotel and VERY convenient. However, the only problem is that the breakfast offered on a Sunday morning was ala carte and very lackluster. The regular breakfast restaurant I’m sure is great, however it’s CLOSED on Sundays. So other than no decent breakfast option on Sunday morning it was a very pleasant stay and closest attached to McCormick Place.

We had such an amazing experience at the Hyatt in Chicago! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. We got into Chicago earlier than expected, and they were kind enough to accommodate us with an early check-in, which we truly appreciated. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything about our stay made us feel welcomed and taken care of. I went to Chicago for the BTS concert at the end of August. My room was gorgeous. A corner room with a view of the lake. Aside from the room and the view, I have to commend the staff. This place was so busy and check in went so smoothly. No one seemed frustrated or overwhelmed. They had even set up an adorable photo area foe concertgoers. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any future trips to Chicago. Very clean and well maintained.
