Kora Beach Resort Phuket

It was amazing customer service and the hotel was extremely clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Kora Hotel Phuket. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable, with a relaxing atmosphere that made our holiday even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the pool area, which was a great place to relax after exploring Phuket. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops. We really appreciated the extraordinary service from Su in the eagle ray restaurant and attention to detail. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at Kora Hotel Phuket and would happily recommend it to families and other travelers looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Phuket. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Great resort if you go with kids and also the sea beach is clean and less crowded. Definitely will go again.

I booked a stay for a week and left after one day due to being intimidated by 8 Russian men. As a trans woman traveling alone on vacation knowing that Thailand is very safe for LGBTIQQ ppl. I went to the pool after visiting the spa which was amazing and the staff was very helpful. I left as I felt my life or the safety of my life would be at risk and would not be able to enjoy my trip as planned. While sitting at the pool I had 3 very large mafia type Russian me sit/stand over me while talking Russian and staring at me. There was another 5 standing off in the background waiting. I left the pool and packed up my things and left the property to another resort and had no issue at another property. I also at the time requested to close out my bill of which they handed me a bill and I paid it. After leaving the property they called my new resort telling the staff I owed them for the spa I visited. I paid the additional bill to not cause trouble in another country. It was very unprofessional of them to request more money after I had shorten my stay. I would not recommend staying here as a LGBTIQQ member or born female unless you can defend yourself against 3-8 Russian men alone. I was told after the fact that these Russian type visit this area quite often. Where I stayed at afterwards I had no issues with any Russian persons. The lack of security to protect its guest was a joke at best.

On last Feb 28 our ticket to Phuket was cancelled by Qatar Airways as a result of the conflict in Iran. I had two hotel bookings in Phuket as I had planned to see two sides of the island: the Burasari south and Kora further up, through Expedia. The Burasari entirely reimbursed my "de facto" no show and the customer experience with them convinced me that when I can go back to Phuket, I will choose their establishment. Kora Beach resort however offered to reschedule my stay but I had to give right away new dates, as if there is anyone right now who knows when the middle east situation is going to come down. Because I was not able to give new dates, Kora Beach kept all my 600 euros which is money I saved for years and for them, pure profit, zero cost. Of course I could prove my ticket was cancelled and the travel insurance denied the claim because of act of war and I am stunned to see how easy such hotel can run away with your savings. We are feeling helpless and horribly disappointed. Very traumatic experience.
