Wonderful, wonderful staff throughout the complex. Everyone is so polite, helpful, professional, efficient, friendly - every request is catered for immediately and pleasantly. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for the hotel team who pride themselves on looking after their guests to the highest standards. We stayed in a garden villa with its own plunge pool. Excellent facilities! Very comfortable accommodation with everything you would want - and much more. The toiletries are all provided on a daily basis, fresh towels and bedding are standard and are all excellent quality. The mini bar, room service and room refreshments are excellent and very good value. The restaurants and pool bar are all fantastic and serve the most delicious food and drinks. The presentation of every meal was impeccable. The Spa is one of the best we’ve ever visited around the world due to the standard of the therapists and their wonderful treatments we enjoyed there daily. They all seemed to have an uncanny understanding of individual clients' muscle aches or mood and instinctively remedy any stress. Housekeeping and the 'nighttime turn down service' is second to none….absolutely excellent! Professional, discreet, efficient and reliable. Cleanliness was superb throughout our stay with daily fresh bedding and huge fluffy towels. The chauffeurs and hotel cars are fantastic, prompt and reliable. Great beach and swimming area. One of the best beach resorts in the world. Can walk up to the waste in the water for hundreds of meters in all directions. Free kayaks. Breakfast was great. The food at the bar was exceptional, with the sea bass dish out of this world. Rooms are spacious and have an outdoor bathtub. The only issue with the room is that it is a bit of a walk to the beach. Otherwise an amazing resort with great staff, beach, and food.

The service at Renaissance was nothing short of exceptional. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating. They took every step to make our holiday extra special. The food on site was excellent. I am already making plans to go back to Thailand JUST to revisit Renaissance. The buildings and facilities are a little older- but that didn't bother me as everything was still neat and tidy. I understand there are plans to upgrade in the near future. Thank you to everyone at Renaissance!

We last visited the Renaissance in 2020 and this visit surpassed all our expectations. To be met on arrival by familiar faces (Chin, thank you for making our visit so special) and as everyone mentions, all of the staff are so amazing, helpful and brilliant. We just wanted to relax and enjoy the great location, the beautifully maintained gardens, and the pool/beach area. Across the hotel, it is so easy to fall into the relaxed vibe, ably helped by the amazing Zee and the pool bar team, and of course Gift and Beam covering breakfast. A special mention has to go to the 4pm cocktails on the beach - there is no better way of starting the evening in such beautiful surroundings! We split our stay between the deluxe rooms and a beachfront villa, and whilst the deluxe rooms are really good, the view from the sea front villa was simply breathtaking. Thank you team Renaissance for giving us a perfect holiday!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The property is okay but is starting to show its age. The view out to the pacific is fantastic, the spa was great but the food is limited and the chef focuses on presentation rather than taste. The pools were clean and not crowded.

Staying in hotel very comfortable. Good service, great breakfast, nice people. The only disadvantage was very low sea that you could not swim but beach was beautiful. Hotel have shuttle bus to swimming beach in Lamai.

A great hotel in a quiet area outside of the Lamai Beach area. The hotel staff were amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. Very nice hotel, very clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was great!! Location is quiet and in our opinion mich better that on the east or north side of the island. I had dinner included which was very good, however, the selection was very limited and we were happy that we only had it for four days. We booked including airport shuttle. Please be aware that according to the hotel, this only includes one way, not both. Expedia dealt with the hotel and in the end the second way was complimentary as well.

The property was beautiful, the staff was phenomenal and the food was amazing. We had a wonderful bungalow with a private pool. The bungalow was big and comfortable and the grounds are just beautifully kept. I think the best part was the staff- they were so friendly, accommodating and helpful- every single one! It was my daughter’s 21at and they surprised her with a piece of cake and cake made of them led and flowers on the bed. We loved staying here!

Nous avons séjourné trois nuits au Renaissance hôtel à Koh Samui. Nous avions réservé une chambre avec baignoire à remous sur la terrasse. La chambre est bien spacieuse et confortable. L’hôtel est un peu vieillissant, un rafraîchissement ne serait pas de refus. Les équipes du restaurant étaient aux petits soins, merci pour tout. De même qu’au spa, avec un très bon massage thaï. Nous n’avons pas eu notre chambre faite un jour, et avons dû le demander une autre journée… pas terrible ! Aussi, lors de la mise en marche du bain à remous, l’eau du bain est devenue toute sale, pleine d’insectes morts et de feuillages… absolument dégoûtant ! Il faudrait nettoyer avant chaque check in il me semble. Autre bémol mais celui-ci indépendant à l’hôtel : un groupe de touristes vraiment impolis et pensant peut-être avoir réservé l’hôtel pour eux seuls tant ils faisaient du bruit de jour comme de nuit, et occupaient plus de la moitié de l’espace à la piscine… En somme nous avons passé un bon séjour mais nous ne reviendrons pas spécialement.

The staff provided superior customer service and extremely helpful to meet needs. The resort is nice but dated. Very comfortable beds and great bed linens and nice pillows. Excellent buffet breakfast. Menu for lunch and dinner was satisfactory. Hotel is in a remote area and while a hotel shuttle is provided the times are not optimal.

The service at Renaissance was nothing short of exceptional. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating. They took every step to make our holiday extra special. The food on site was excellent. I am already making plans to go back to Thailand JUST to revisit Renaissance. The buildings and facilities are a little older- but that didn't bother me as everything was still neat and tidy. I understand there are plans to upgrade in the near future. Thank you to everyone at Renaissance!

The property was beautiful, the staff was phenomenal and the food was amazing. We had a wonderful bungalow with a private pool. The bungalow was big and comfortable and the grounds are just beautifully kept. I think the best part was the staff- they were so friendly, accommodating and helpful- every single one! It was my daughter’s 21at and they surprised her with a piece of cake and cake made of them led and flowers on the bed. We loved staying here!

We loved this resort. The breakfast was amazing. The gym equipment was in great condition. We were on the 3rd floor with sea view room and it did not disappoint. Pool area and beach were both really nice.

The staff provided superior customer service and extremely helpful to meet needs. The resort is nice but dated. Very comfortable beds and great bed linens and nice pillows. Excellent buffet breakfast. Menu for lunch and dinner was satisfactory. Hotel is in a remote area and while a hotel shuttle is provided the times are not optimal.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The property is okay but is starting to show its age. The view out to the pacific is fantastic, the spa was great but the food is limited and the chef focuses on presentation rather than taste. The pools were clean and not crowded.
