An incredible, unforgettable couples trip in paradise. The staff from all teams (reception, dining, housekeeping, spa) all went above any beyond. They all wished my husband a happy 50th birthday, and truly made us feel so welcome and happy! We hope to come back someday.

The hotel is set in a fantastic location overlooking the sea, with a lovely beach right on the doorstep. The grounds have a beautiful tropical feel, with plenty of plants and trees, which creates a sense of seclusion, particularly around the villas and the beachside pool. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay — always friendly, helpful and welcoming, and consistently greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was also very good, with a wide selection of options as well as freshly cooked eggs, pancakes and other dishes available to order. We ate twice at the premium restaurant, Tawann, and on both occasions the food and service were excellent. We would highly recommend eating there. Our villa was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately it felt somewhat dated and shabby in places. For example, the curtains looked grubby and in need of a clean, while one was also ripped. As a result, the room didn’t quite feel up to the standard we would expect from a five-star property. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The location, beautiful grounds, excellent staff and quality of the food were all highlights. However, the property would benefit from some investment and modernisation to bring the rooms and facilities up to the five-star standard they are aiming for.

Breakfast was great! Beautiful view of the ocean and good selection and service. Rooms are dated and mosquitoes are everywhere on the property. Outlets were in odd positions in the villas. Needed to request an extended power bar, which they accommodated. AC works very well though. Beach isn't the best for swimming. Too shallow. Pool was nice and deep and now has brand new loungers around it. One day bed at the pool has a broken. Awning that needs to be fixed but overall comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. English ability of staff is a little lacking for a 5 star resort. Depends on the staff member working. Some staff were more friendly and sincere than others. Special shout-out to Keen, Party, and Alice. Location: right near Lamai night market so easy access to great options for food. Crystal Bay right around the corner. Nice little beach area though it can be crowded and have some sharp coral. If you are more looking for the party scene or centre of the action, Bophut 30 minutes or so away. Not too bad with a Grab. Overall, It seemed like there were a lot for trainees so maybe some staffing problems. If you are looking for a true 5 star, might be better elsewhere. However it was comfortable and staff were accommodating.
