Chi Samui Resort

Property was clean and the staff was very friendly. Pool area was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Chi Samui Resort is a great. The staff was extremely nice. The rooms are exactly as pictured. There is a gym, spa, and so much more to keep you entertained or to help you relax. The Lanna Cafe has great food at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend Chi Samui Resort.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect of this hotel, but it won me over after a few days. The hotel is lovely and picturesque and the staff were friendly and helpful, but it is more remote than I expected. It is at the end of a long dead-end street. There are no restaurants nearby and it is a 10 minute walk to the main street. So, you are left taking 300Baht Grab rides to Fisherman's Village, or eating at the hotel most of the time, which was fine - the food was tasty and the breakfast buffet had good selections. We even took a Thai cooking class at the hotel (with a guided trip to the Big Buddha and local market included) which was absolutely wonderful. The pool does get busy so grab your seat early if you want to lounge. The highlight was access to the Chi Beach Club which is right on the water. We took the resort shuttle and made reservations at the Beach Club on two separate days - it was so enjoyable we had to go twice! The vibe is luxe and stylish, its family friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious. I think if we experienced just the resort we might have felt isolated and removed from the action (which is great if that is what you are looking for!). But the resort plus the beach club gave us a wonderful well-rounded experience of this part of Koh Samui

Excellent hotel and staff. One thing to improve on is gym maintenance as three of the five exercise machines were out of order.

This hotel has a boutique spa feel. The moment you walk into the main area you feel relaxed. The pool was amazing with great floating chairs. The yoga class and massages were amazing. The rooms were clean and modern with a great terrace overlooking the pool. The room was a bit small with the bed being almost up against the wall with no night stands. The bathroom door was strange and was glass with a hole for the handle and had a big gap around it so there wasn’t much privacy for the bathroom. I liked the fact there was a little kitchenette in the room though. The hotel is a bit remote and not very close to restaurants or shopping. It is about a 1 km walk to the village and beach. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We also loved the breakfast which had menu options as well as a buffet. Overall we had a great stay.

We loved our stay at Chi. We extended our first stay with four more days. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The pool is nice one the beach club is also good. It’s nice, clean and the hotel gives the impression that everyone is taken care of. We also used the gym and yoga classes and loved it.

Staff were all lovely. Property was stunning. Couldn’t use the pool as it was out of action which was a shame as that was one of the reasons we booked, it’s a beautiful pool area. Would have liked to spend more time there. Very handy for airport and exploring the town. Would defo stay again.

I stayed for two nights, nothing to fault. The room was beautiful and clean, staff helpful and friendly. I didn’t have any food whilst I was here but did eat at the beach club down the road which was amazing. Pretty setting. The hotel has a super efficient shuttle bus that can drop you off to places in Samui, if it was near it was free, if not around 400 baht to Chaweng beach. Would happily stay again and recommend!

i believe it was rated a 9.4 out of 10 on hotels.com. well, it was NOT a 9.4. The room was nice but the kitchen was old. the bathroom shower was tiny, the entire floor got wet every time i took a shower because these was no shower door. the wifi in the room was very good but the minute you stepped outside of your room it was basically non existent. the food was good but very exprensive. $21 US for a burger. the pool was nice and big. the gym was ok but very hot. it had a glass ceiling so it was basically a sauna. i stayed for 2 1/2 weeks so i really got to know the property well. would i go back again ? yes but not for so long. 3 or 4 days max

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend. Bei Fragen muss man nur eine WhatsApp schreiben und man bekommt 24/7 eine Antwort. Die Massagen, sowie der Poolbereich sind ein Traum. Leider war das Zimmer etwas unsauber und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Duschhahn sowie der Handtuchhalter waren locker und der Lichtschalter für das Bad war defekt.

Tolles Resort, Roller empfehlenswert da ruhig gelegen (dabei hilft das Personal gerne). Sehr sauber und tolles Personal. Wir würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen und wieder buchen. Zimmer sehr neu und gepflegt.

The room is very clean and new facility. All staffs are very friendly and the option to communicate with the staff using chat makes it very easy and efficient

Our 2nd visit to Lanna, as we enjoyed it so much on our 1st visit, which was for a special occasion. I notified them in advance it was for a special occasion and there was no additional touches added in the room and no mention of being a returning couple. On checking in we found the room to be rather dated as such, with the walls all scuffed, the sofa with stains on it and in general just required being freshened up to a better standard. During our stay there was constant wirk going on right at the pool area for the whole 5 nights we stayed there, which was unfortunate as there was constant noise and mess in and around the complex. Hot water and water supply in general was constantly off and we couldnt even get a shower some days, due to working on a leak somewhere in the system. As for outside, workmen were working on a new Water Well and there was constant drilling and digging ongoing and the muddy water was running freely down the street and your feet and footware got covered in it everyday. At the pool we had people in the swimming pool with bottles of beer and glasses walking around in their hands and even smoking cigarettes in the pool!. We raised this with the Manageress who spoke to the individuals and the minute she left, they just continued again doing the same and their language was absolutely terrible, shouting and swearing continously. This caused several people to leave the pool area as they had children and obviously felt uncomfortable.

Ich hatte die schönste Zeit hier. Die Penthouse Suite war perfekt für mich, luxuriös ausgestattet, bequemes Bett und auch ein Smart TV mit dabei für die Regentage. Der Pool war super. Das Restaurant bietet sehr leckeres Essen an. Vollends zufrieden, würde wieder kommen

We loved staying at Lanna, had an awesome time ! Everything was perfect from how beautifully It is designed, to the amazing staff (the manager is the best !), the food, the service, the pool and the spacious and modern rooms. We will be coming back for sure !

Excellent, friendly, professional and caring staff and management which go out of their way to assist and serve. Expedia's presentation (by photos) of the property on your website is grossly misleading customers as being on the beach. This is a blatant deceit, hopefully unintentional. No hot water in sinks, hot water supply and control of hot/cold water in showers very bad, very low quality, old bed mattresses

Very lovely and helpful staff, they are all friendly. Unit is clean, small but enough for stay even more than a month. shops are 10 minutes walk away from resort Beach as well.

Jeg havde fornøjelsen af at bo på dette smukke resort, og det var en sand luksusoplevelse fra start til slut. Poolområdet er et absolut paradis – elegant designet med perfekte loungestole, omgivet af frodige palmer og rolige omgivelser. De flydende puder i poolen giver et ekstra strejf af komfort og afslapning. Værelserne er moderne, lyse og rummelige. Personalet var utrolig venligt og opmærksom på selv de mindste detaljer, hvilket skabte en behagelig og problemfri ferieoplevelse. Faciliteterne og omgivelserne signalerer afslapning og høj kvalitet. Jeg kan varmt anbefale dette resort til alle, der ønsker en fredfyldt og luksuriøs ferie. Jeg vender helt sikkert tilbage!

Good hotel and the staff are incredibly nice! Our room was great with a sofa and dining area as well as a small kitchen. The bed was not the most comfortable and overall I think the property is a bit outdated. It is also situated away from the beach therefore taxi to the hustle and bustle as well as beaches is needed. Very conveniently located to the airport though.

Our stay was great aside from the service - not ideal to get into a tiff around a cup that they claimed was removed from the room on our way out - turned out it was in the room and even if not, it’s a cup. Leaves a less than ideal impression.

I liked the size of the hotel…not too small and not a giant resort either. It was my fiancé’s birthday during our stay and they had the bed decorated and birthday cake waiting for us..very thoughtful! The hotel was not too far of a walk (about 10mins) from the main strip so that was also convenient. Now for the cons…they need to change the beds asap! The 2 nights we stayed there were the most uncomfortable nights I’ve experienced in a long time and during our whole Thailand trip. Hard as a rock and just plain bad. For how much (which was a lot!) they charged for their food and drinks, it was severely underwhelming and they got my fiancé’s food orders wrong every time. You’re much better off walk down the street to street vendors or other restaurants along the stripe, which was what we did. Finally, the security deposit. It’s wild that the security deposit was 5,000bht which was way more than the much nicer hotel we had stayed in Bangkok. For 2 nights, that’s a whole lot to demand. Definitely needs to be reviewed. Overall, it was a decent stay but will definitely go for another location the next time we visit Thailand / Samui.

If you like scammers and liars just come here. They lied to our face multiple times and cheated on everything from breakfast to taxi. Their location is awful.

Quick overnight stay with a flight out the next day - 15 minute walk to conveniences but great hotel if you have some time to kill by the pool.

Wir haben uns im Lanna sehr wohl gefühlt. Sowohl unser Zimmer, als auch die gesamte Anlage waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb aber es gibt einen Shuttleservice zum Strand und man kann sich auch Roller vor Ort mieten.

This is an out of the way type of place. It’s a 15-20 walk to get to civilization so either have your own transportation or a driver/taxi on standby

The hotel is far aeay and transportation is expensive the area is not good for walking

The hotel is amazing,stuff is super friendly and helpful,food is delicious and fancy. The area itself is quite far from the center, and there is no walking way just a road,but it is something common in Thailand as I see. You can easily take a scooter for rent or use a taxi if you wish.

Magnifique hôtel situé hors du boucan de Chaweng mais a seulement 10 mn en scooter. Une plage calme se situe a 5 mn a pied, ainsi que de petit restaurants. L’hôtel lui même a une superbe piscine, un bon restaurant et un personnel adorable qui vous ferons passer un très bon séjour. Nous avons vraiment adoré cette ambiance paisible.

Very clean and tidy, room was immaculate, air con was excellent, swimming pool and sun beds/seating around was great. We had inclusive breakfast but it was from a set menu and you only got one coffee which was a little dissapointing, beautiful food just need a little more variety.
