This is an older hotel and could use some updates especially on the furniture. All the chairs and the couch in our room had stains on them. It just didn’t feel clean with stains on everything. The pics online showed newer furniture and sofas but we had a room that had not been updated I guess. The pool was also very cold. I complained and they were supposed to look at it but it was cold every day we were there. We did enjoy the breakfast though.

We had really bad experience with the shuttle service this hotel had promised for guests. The shuttle supposed to come every 30 minutes didn't show up in one hour. It made us almost missed our flight.

Have stayed at this Wmbassy Suite before to catch flights from O’Hare for family vacations. If only traveling for a few days or a week, they have a parking option that we have used in the past. Front desk staff on check in was great and they got our two rooms next to each other. They also signed us up for a breakfast to go bag since our flight was so early that we would miss the breakfast. One major disappointment this trip was that in the morning, the shuttle bus picked up at the DoubleTree first and when arriving at Embassy didn’t have enough room for all of my family and bags (had to split the 7 of us). The front desk could do nothing but recommend waiting at least 30 minutes for the next one, which didn’t work for our flight plans. Had to spend $40 on Uber to get the rest of the family to the airport. If I wanted to take Ubers to the airport, I would consider staying somewhere much cheaper and a bit further from airport next time.

Wish the breakfast was served earlier since we had to be somewhere at 7:15am. Breakfast was served at 7am. Also only 1 out of the 3 elevators was working.

We were so disappointed. We had never stayed at a Hilton before and we had very high expectations. The staff was very kind but the pool heater was broken. The reason why we booked this hotel was FOR the pool because our kids love to swim. And no substitution was offered. Why couldn't we have gone to swim at the DoubleTree? And the breakfast was crowded and understaffed and the food and coffee was very sub-standard. And the layout of the hotel is actually really inconvenient because the lights shine into your room through the front door all night. My kids had a very hard time sleeping. This was a very disappointing property.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The eating area was extremely dirty when we went for breakfast in the morning. The elevators are horribly slow. The stay was set off on the wrong foot when we walked in late the night before after a very long flight, waited in line, and when it was our turn and we were called up by the lady behind the counter, she didn’t greet us she just stared at us. I said hello and she continued to stare at me till I gave her my name for the reservation

Shower corner shelf was broken and should be replaced instead of just putting caulk on the edges. Stains on the bathroom floor was unsightly. Bed was comfortable, room spaciou.

The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, that doesn't take away from the fact I was put into a room that wasn't fully cleaned and when I mentioned it to the front desk they put me on a list. When I came back that evening, the bed was made and I had fresh towels but the room still wasn't clean and my trash was still there as well as the dirty floors which was part of my original complaint. I checked out at 4am and was told the manager would contact me. I'm still waiting for that call.

The first room we stayed in did not have a properly functioning AC and we found a massive cockroach in the room. Upon discussing this with the front desk, we were immediately given a different room. The staff was very responsive, respectful, and helpful with this issue. Overall the staff were the best part of this hotel. I would hesitate to stay here again in the future.

I liked the friendly and helpful staff. I didn't like the fact that the building as a whole is quite old and is saturated with a smell. This is especially noticeable in the room. The towel I wanted to use had women's hair on it and I had to ask for a replacement. When I went down from the second floor to the first floor by stairs the carpet was terribly dirty and stained.

Housekeeping “cleaned our room and left the garbage still in the room, towels and bath towels were discolored, we did not use it. The ambiance was just an absolute joke the doors weren’t sealed properly, light streamed into the room from outside and weren’t properly sealed. It was outdated and in need of renovation. Plus side is that it was close to the airport but wouldn’t recommend or revisit.

My stay was super comfortable and I was very happy with the overall stay. The rooms are very accommodating and the staff are friendly. The cleaning service is also well kept, well maintained, well organized and well attended. It was my first travel, as I was attending my son’s Navy bootcamp graduation. And to be so far from home, (Miami), and me being a very clean, neat, and tidy person, it meant a great deal to me to have a satisfying experience.

I’ve stayed at numerous Embassy Suites and this location could use some updating. The suites are outdated and furniture is dirty and broken. We had a couch with noticeable staining and towels that had stains. The bedding was fine. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests. Bar and restaurant are very nice. Close to everything. Just know that the mall and restaurant close early in this area.

This was an awesome place to stay! When we walked into our suite we were blown away by how large it was and also the large dining room table or conference table. The happy hour orders and drinks were great but the breakfast that was included was unbelievable. Everything tasted great rooms were clean highly recommended

Worst sofa bed we have ever encountered. It was so worn and broken down. Completely unusable comfort wise even for a child. The french doors have frosted glass and open onto the atrium that is brightly lit all night, which in turn lights the living room space. There were groups of people socializing in the atrium well after midnight and we could hear it quite well in the room. Now if you DIDN'T need the sofa bed and could just shut the bedroom door to the living room space, the beds were comfortable and it was about as quiet as a hotel can be that close to the airport. But the sofa bed is not useable. If you need them for sleeping space, this isn't the place for you. Keep looking

The property was very nice, room very clean and comfortable. There were two women at the front desk, one was checking in people, the other ignored the line and kept talking and joking around with another employee, a young man with a luggage cart. There was no reason for the wait.

Good stay, as expected from an Embassy Suites. Just a few notes. We used spothero and got a parking spot down the street at the Leows hotel, which cut our parking fees in half. It is an easy, safe walk. The managers reception was blah. Drinks were good, snacks were minimalistic at best (some veggies and chips). Although they were friendly and somewhat low pressure, I didn’t appreciate the Hilton vacations people going table to table during breakfast trying to sell a very inexpensive vacation (in order to get you to tour and buy) a timeshare. Ikd stay here again.

Dirty carpet, dirty bathroom, broken fridge. Called for more pillows no one ever came with them. Called for luggage cart. Had to go hunt one down by myself. The airport shuttle driver was the rudest man I’ve ever met. Ripped my bag out of my hands and told me to hurry up.

I tried to call this hotel before my visit to ensure the airport shuttle was running between 3 and 3:30am and they are impossible to get ahold of. Every number i found online did not go to the front desk and no one would forward me ir give correct number. It was frustrating, but i figured i could uber if the shuttle wasnt going. I could get on the shuttle at 3:30am. Once actually at the hotel everything was great, clean, no weird smells, friendly staff, comfortable. But not being able to get ahold of them before did add some stress to my travel.

Such a wonderful stay! 10 minute walk to the blue line station that shoots directly to downtown Chicago in just under an hour and see some amazing views on the way for a $2.50 price! Outstanding customer service, wonderful stay and beautiful interior. AWESOME ACs.

The room was great, and so was the breakfast and reception. It's a good value if you are going downtown or Logan Square, but further south of downtown will take you longer. Blue line 24 hrs. I'd stay here again

I very much enjoyed the breakfast each morning. It was a big bonus to have the evening drinks and snacks. You don't find that everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that we didn't get room cleaning or stocking daily, but found out on the last day that is on a request basis only. We ran out of coffee and shampoo and we left overflowing waste baskets. So, I'll know for next time. I would recommend to anyone to stay there.

Best hotel breakfast in a long time and it was complimentary!!! Also had a social hour (1 1/2 hours) with complimentary drinks. The only complaint would be the lack of a jacuzzi but I knew that upon booking!

Our room was large and clean. Evening reception and breakfast were awesome, and the staff working at these were amazing. Our only issue was that the shuttle from the airport took over 45 minutes to pick up, but the shuttle return to the airport was very quick and on time.
