The phone didn’t work so I couldn’t call the front desk. I tried to Google the number, but I didn’t have phone service. I connected to the Wi-Fi and only worked in one section of the room. Once my Wi-Fi did work it gave me an 800 number to call. I waited on hold for 20 minutes. And my phone disconnected because I had bad service. And the phone in the room again did not work. The bathtub had hair in it. A couple was fighting in the middle of the night and a dog started barking. I couldn’t call the front desk to get somebody to stop it because again the phone did not work. I was recovering from surgery so I couldn’t walk to the front. And I certainly didn’t want to walk out there regardless when there was a fight breaking out. The drink vending machine stole my money too.

Room was better than expected. Dated but clean. Bathroom clean but old and chipped. Staff was amazingly friendly! Ample parking. Hallways very old, chopping, in urgent need of painting and areas under construction. Overall I was happy because I only needed the room to sleep. If was for family visit and we were out during the day. Stayed for 3 nights.

Avoid this hotel at all cost it more like a drug den, with wrecked cars in the parking lot rooms were disgusting plaster falling from bathroom ceiling door locks broken, did not stay left and demanded money be returned said booking was non refundable. Not a nice place. It smelled musty and the bathroom was a nightmare. The sink and shower did not drain well. The shower was difficult to use but also had the worst pressure and water dripped and sprayed from the pipes which for the floor wet no matter what we tried to prevent it. Towels were extremely rough. I would not stay here again. There were also people smoking right outside near our door and we could smell the smoke.

Do not go to this hotel. There are roaches in the room. Woke up at 5am to see them crawling all over the bathroom floor. This made us pickup and leave ASAP. Made sure we didn’t have big stowaways. Drug dealers in the back parking lot. Drug buyers drive by at night and day. The parking area is not well maintained and garbage all over the back parking area. The TV remote did not work - called to have it replaced but the maintenance person never did come.

had to wait for 20 mins there was no one at the front desk to help the customers. When they came back there were 3 staff and all of them went for a break together. I mean this is too much with a small kid at night had to wait for 20 mins for nothing. Also the room quality is not good there were dear roaches and bad smell

The room was easy to find and it was nice to have easy access to the outdoors. The phone in the room did not work when we needed to call the front desk. I had to use my cell phone. We called due to the toilet backing up. They said they would bring us a plunger but never did. Other than that our experience was great.

We've stayed in Red Roof+ locations in the past, and this is the least "plus" location. Our first room had a hairdryer cord that was cut and a power strip that wasn't functional. The second room just had a hairdryer that didn't work and the power strip was intermittent/shorting. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but the property itself is just run-down.

The extra deposit at check in you have to remember to request back is not ok. Old mattresses that are lumpy, stained dingy rough sheets. Could not block out street lights completely Staff I interacted with were nice and pleasant at least.

The room was nice and clean. Only downside was no fridge or microwave and the bed probably needs to be changed you feel the bars theough the mattress.. also the other full time tenants are a bit rowdy 7 to 8am screaming yealling and fighting... other than that great stay.

There was too much noise in the courtyard the night I was there. I also could smell smoke, perhaps coming from the next room or right outside, which was disturbing. Otherwise, I appreciated the clean room and working bathroom.

It caters to people who live there not guests. NO WIFI When checking in the agent spoke to someone else out of my sight about my arrival and her snappy reply was, she would have needed a reservation, for which the agent told her I did. This was obviously an inconvenience for them. I didn't mind people living there under subsidies, the kids were cute but not the drunks. The room was very clean! I even had a man help me with a bag so not every adult was drunk. I needed WIFI however. Also I was placed in far back, room had no phone, no nothing. It did have the TV and an iron to be fair. Not going back. The agent checking me out was pleasant. As a single traveler this time I did not appreciate have an adjoining room either and I know when booking I didn't want one.

When I arrived at Red Roof Inn Plus 9 PM, there was NO ONE at the front desk to assign me a room. There were several guests in the lobby that had been waiting for 1.5 hours For some one to check them in, but no 1 was there.Some people had left.I was told and other people in the lobby were on the phone with customer service with whatever booking agency they used trying to get their money back. I didn't want to go to another hotel like others had chosen to do because I would've had to spend an extra $150.Since the door to the front desk area was unlocked, I went back there, found a few phone number and called around until I finally reached some one. This lady was some regional manager and was able to contact the hotel manager. The hotel manager must have called the employee who came out of the dark back room half asleep. When we saw him come out, We were all like WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! We've all been waiting out here forevwr making all kinds of noise. How did you not hear us this whole entire time? And he kind of shrugged off a sleepy shrug and said I'm sorry. The young man did assign me to my room.But I felt so bad for the guests that had booked rooms, couldnt get in, and went to another hotel and had to pay an additional money because this disrespectful unmotivated, and undisciplined employee chose to sleep on the job. Also, my room wasnt very clean. I chose not to take a shower due to the dirty mold around the caulking of the tub.

I made a reservation for an extra 2 nights after staying there for 4nights, I informed the front desk officers and all one of them did was to charge my card again for payment when I had already paid through Expedia. I went to them to inform them and the arrogance and rudeness was unmatched, eventually the supervisor agreed they had held an extra payment on my credit card and that they were going to correct that. The supervisor asked me to come the following day so they could change the room for me because I chose a room different from what I was currently occupying, when I went the following day as I was asked to do, I had the shock of my life, I was asked to pay extra to maintain my room and I said we had agreed to change rooms so why an extra charge now, the front desk staff told me there was no room, I was shocked because I had make a reservation for God’s sake, how come I can’t have it as agreed but pay extra to maintain my room? Through out my 6nights stay, there was no cleaning of my room, no change of bed sheets, soap was not provided, no tissues etc, I had to buy one myself. The compound was never swept even once in my entire 6nights. There was no coffee and the front desk staff were not friendly and helpful at all. On this vacation I had booked 4 facilities with Expedia, I must confess, this is the worst experience I’ve had. It is horrible experience, I will not recommend Redroof to anyone in the Maryland area.

I need to call, because never got a call back from the management. I reported the next day because my room didn't work which is a safety issue and I was very tired after driving The day before 12 hours and have another 4 and 1/2 hour drive home to the Pocono mountains in PA. The TV guy didn't work and the remote I had to just keep hitting the arrow to get channels, because it didn't show on the channel guide? I couldn't call the front desk because the phone didn't work and when I called the number on Google, got the reservation number and they couldn't help me. I made a complaint to the front desk, but she said the manager would have to call me the next day. I never got a call. It's annoying that I can't even get a hold of anyone at hotels.com to get my refund. There was a cricket in my room and it almost jumped in my face and I didn't know it was a cricket, thought it was a roach. Also, when I tried to scan the room service for food, it didn't work. I was woken up at 6:00 a.m. by some woman yelling for another woman and then they were standing outside of my room when I left. Booking receptionist at the front desk to checkin and out, was extremely lrude and impatient and unaware of speaking to him over the phone before for early check-in!! Upon arrival 2nd door to open up lobby and front was locked and had to call over 3-5 time's for him to buzz me in!! Spike talking to me over the phone twice before arrival he still made me wait two and a half hours to check in early and also overcharged me for early check-in and security deposit or roughly giving me a room that did not have no heat and told me that all of the years was broken and that it would be pointless to trust for or get a new room although I chose to still get another room he may speak in a room that was already occupied and he was totally unaware of the who was already occupied so I had to walk back a third time to get a new key to a third room finally suddenly in around 9:30 a.m. after arriving at 4:45am

We checked in at 5pm. The representative at the desk, Alan, was rude and not welcoming! I then received a phone call at 3:11am, waking me from my sleep, asking if I were going to arrive. I explained that I was already there and sleep. In the morning I discovered that Alan had not checked me in properly and completely. I was very upset and frustrated. I will NEVER stay at this location again when visiting Maryland!!!!!

Don’t know where to start but the main concern and inconvenience we had and complaint about was there were homeless people sleeping right outside our . And when talking to the front desk about it , there response was “ there’s nothing we can do “ NEVER AGAIN WOULD WE STAY AT ANY OF YOUR HOTELS

This property is an extended-stay hotel with numerous families living on the property as their primary residence. There were no microwaves or refrigerators in many rooms without paying an upcharge. The area is super convenient and safe. This is a basic hotel room with zero extras.

This is a very dangerous neighborhood. I barely slept because I was so afraid someone was going to break into my rental car. It is hard to tell by the property photos but this is in a very old industrial part of the city.

I came here after one year again, bringing family form Europe, to visit DC. Ratio of the price (7 people, two rooms, 8 nights) to quality was (last year) and still is great. The rooms are clean, in our experience area was safe (we had 2 seniors and 3 kids with us). Nice staff. I hope l would have a chance in future to stay again in Red Roof Inn PLUS+...

Do not go to this hotel. There are roaches in the room. Woke up at 5am to see them crawling all over the bathroom floor. This made us pickup and leave ASAP. Made sure we didn’t have big stowaways. Drug dealers in the back parking lot. Drug buyers drive by at night and day. The parking area is not well maintained and garbage all over the back parking area. The TV remote did not work - called to have it replaced but the maintenance person never did come.

This property is a great bargain. No free cereal in the morning, limited on-site food of any kind, and very little attention to such amenities. In other words, they may not offer everything you’d find at other hotels that cost twice as much — but everything they do provide actually *works*. No muss, no fuss.

It was very clean and the staff was nice. The only small complaint is some rooms do not have coffee (the cheaper ones). Which is fine but you need to be aware, you can get a small cup at the front desk though. Something to be aware of if you are a coffee drinker and are working from the room. Otherwise, my room was very clean. It was well equipped, the staff was nice, it was comfortable. For the price it was well worth it. It was not "walkable" in a sense as its on a busy road. But it is super close to (within a mile) to anything you need and some basics across the street.

Our room did not have a TV remote and when we inquired about getting one because our stay was several nights, they said they would work on it. We never received one. Our sink plunger did not work when we first entered the room however maintenance did fix the issue within the first night. Also important is housekeeping is not daily, be sure to hang your towels.
