First time at Sonesta and it was a great experience. Professional staff, good security features, and reasonable priced parking for O’Hare. Only issue is the bathroom lacks an exhaust fan. Showerhead was awesome. Would stay here again no problem.

I booked the hotel for its shuttle service from O'hare. However, when I came out of O'hare in the freezing temperature in Chicago at 11:20 pm, I did not see any shuttle bus from the hotel. I called the hotel and was told the shuttle services ended at 11:15 pm. If they clearly stated it in their website, I would not book it at all. I will not book it again. In addition, the card machine was broken so that the clerk could not make a room card for the guests at my check-in. What a ill-managed place! It's not up to any standards as they claimed on the website. Stay away from it.

This is very convenient to O'Hare. Catching the shuttle was easy, though you don't make a reservation. It is also very close to the transportation center, so worst case, you can catch the tram/train by walking down approximately 2 blocks. The rooms were quiet and spacious, and we ate at Harry Carey's off the lobby, which was very nice. The only thing is there was condensation and mold/mildew looking stuff around the windows in both of our rooms and the property could use a cleaning. But I would definitely stay again

This hotel is extremely dated and needs updates. The carpet is filthy and smells of mildew everywhere. The inside of the rooms the curtains are stained yellow. I didnt trust to sit in my chair. And the sheets were questionable. The bathtub doesnt drain. Also the bathrooms are not properly clean, disgusting

There is mold around the windows and on the ceiling by the windows. Mold on bathroom ceiling and bathroom door. Also the extra fees after booking was annoying too. To keep our car parked in hotel parking lot we had to pay an extra $25. I knew this when booking, but also no breakfast.

Upon arrival, our plane had been delayed for six hours. The staff checked us in immediately and offered us water, which we were in desperate need of. I really appreciated the coffee machine which had many options to choose from and was high-quality. Our room was spotless And every time I ran into a housekeeping person in the hallway they were friendly and kind. The quick check-in allowed us to attend the function that we were late for.

Unfortunately we didn't have a very good stay at the Sonesta due to the outside noise of the trains, roads and planes. Can only think the windows aren't very effective at keeping out the noise. Room was large but very shabby, carpets filthy with stains in places, we had to call room service to come and vacuum up the crumbs from the previous guests. Very small old bath with overhead shower with a horrendous shower curtain, ended up with water all over the floor. Had to mend the pop up plug ourselves in order to have a bath and the basin took forever to drain. Reception staff very friendly but the room was so bad we definitely won't be using this hotel again.

The front desk group was gossiping about workers when I got there. The women that give my my room key had a nasty attitude The morning of check out, front desk knocked loudly on my door at 8am, 9:45am and 10:55am. So obnoxious and disturbing. Got stuck at O'Hare when our flight was canceled. Stayed at the Sonesta for the night till we returned to airport. We had no luggage. They provided us with toothbrushes. toothpaste, razor and shaving cream. Definitely helped to make an awful night much better. Didn't get the name of the young man that took care of us at 11:45pm, but he was wonderful!

One thing we didn't know about this property was how CLOSE It was to the METRA Train station. It made getting downtown SO EASY! Great location, close to the ALLSTATE Arena where we were headed for a concert. Lots to eat and drink nearby. Very comfy bed and nice room!

The bathroom was not as clean as expected. There were hairs next to the toilet, which was unpleasant. Also, water leaks out of the bathtub/shower area when showering and reaches the carpet in the room, leaving it wet. This should definitely be addressed, especially to prevent moisture or mold issues.
