Das Hotel liegt sehr Zentral, man erreicht zu Fuß die Einkaufs- und Vergnügungsmeile , nur 150 m. Ich war im Hauptgebäude, in der sich die Rezeption befindet, untergebracht. Das Zimmer war Recht groß, sauber mit saniertem Bad. Das Personal sehr freundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück mit Früchten, Joghurt, Müsli und Eierzubereitung auf Wunsch Rühr- , Spiegel- und Omelette. Pool ca. 10m nicht luxuriös , aber okay. Direkter Zugang zum Meer vom Pool aus. Massagen in Poolnähe sehr professionell.scooter ausleihen am Hotel günstig und unbürokratisch, Bikes sind fast neu und gepflegt. Aufgrund der Lage ist es natürlich laut, man hört die Musik vom ARK Beach Club bis in die Morgenstunden. Wer es ruhig haben will, ist hier falsch. Wer das Nachtleben sucht, ist hier richtig. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Great location, so close to the main drag. Super good breakfast with beach views. Super friendly service. They even provided a taxi back to the airport when we checked out. The only downside was that the pool was a bit cloudy

Loved our stay here! We stayed in the cottage house and it was lovely. The airport transfer organized by Montien House was really well organized. But we had a leaky Aircon the first time but they fixed it quickly the next day 😊

Room cleaned daily by the nicest staff there is! They are hard working and feel like family. The rooms are spotless and have a beach bungalow feel. Beautiful garden setting and very nice beachside pool. Restaurant serves excellent food . If in Samui this is where I stay. Peaceful and on the beach.

Attention toutes les chambres ne se valent pas. Notre chambre donnait sur l’impasse d’entrée, très bruyant entre les avions et la rue animée. Chambre sentant l’humidité, les rideaux étaient sales, idem pour la tête de lit, salle de bain pas très bien nettoyée, heureusement que nous restions qu’une nuit.

Overall good stay and location was excellent. The bathroom drain smells so I had to keep the door closed so the scent did not come into the room. The Villa was okay but could use updating. The staff was helpful when my cable tv did not work. I had a late flight and was not. Able to stay longer than 12 noon so hopefully next time at least to 1 or. 2 would be appreciated since I had at least 4 nights at the property.

Algemene staat kamer is gedateerd en beschadigd. Daarnaast gaten in beddengoed. Deur balkon sluit slecht. En in het bijzonder de badkamer: spiegel vies, muren vies, kraan en aanrecht verkalkt, douchecabine met kalk/schimmel, douchekop spuit alle kanten op, toilet trekt slecht door, blijft lopen. Wastafelkraan blijft ook lopen. Zeep NIET gebruiken, stinkt; wat zit hierin?! Honderd meter verderop zit een grote beachclub met luide muziek die tot diep 04:00 in de nacht de kamer binnendringt. Wij begrijpen niet dat dit hotel score 8 krijgt. Wat ons betreft krijgt het nog niet eens een 3. Enige positieve is het vriendelijke personeel en het uitgebreide ontbijt.

We stayed here for 4 days and it is nice but could really do with a facelift the breakfast bar area - they need new tables and chairs as the area is a nice area but the furniture lets it down. Get rid of the old tables clothes, so not hygienic. The breakfast is basic - basically toast and ham, fresh fruit (pineapple and melon), yogurt, salad - leaves and tomatoes - some Thai food - usually rice with vegetables, there is also bacon, sausages (didn’t attempt these as different to ones i know) and a cook station for eggs the way you like them. There is orange juice (not the real stuff though) tea and coffee. The swimming pool is nice but again the sun beds could do with a lick of paint and to get new cushions for them as most were well worn. The room was fine but no 100 percent clean, the glass shelves were covered in dust, the room we stayed in could do with a lick of paint and to de-clutter some of the old furniture. The massive lampshades can go! They were filthy too. It was not much money for this place but things can be cleaned properly when there is cleaners in my view. I may have high expectations but trying to be honest here.

I was very happy with my stay at Montien House. The location was perfect. On the beach, very near to the town centre with many restaurants and shopping opportunities. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I would say is I was 3 floors up and went out and leant on the balcony and it’s very loose! If I’d have leant on it harder I feel it would have fallen

We loved our stay at this hotel! We had a villa with a private pool, which was great fun for our small family. The garden and pool were also lovely and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and varied. The location is close to everything without being noisy. The rooms are a little dated but kept in good condition and very clean, thanks to the lovely cleaning staff. This hotel was great value for money, considering the pool and size of room. We will definitely be back!

This hotel has been here for a very long time… I’ve stayed a few time myself over the past 30yrs. For the price I don’t think you are going to get a better beachfront hotel that includes breakfast. The staff are lovely & it does have a pool. However it is definitely showing its age now. The rooms are dark as is the furniture and there isn’t anything useful in the room.. tables & stools but no drawers to put away your clothes… there’s not enough plug sockets… one was being used for TV, Kettle & mosquito coil… provide an extension. it needs a refresh of paint… even painting the furniture white.. shabby chic style would brighten & not cost much… our bedding was literally thread bare. I understand that times have been tough with Covid & I applaud them for managing to stay open but little things could make a lot of difference. To make more money have someone go around the pool asking if you want drinks etc… have coconuts piled up so you can order those. There are lots of ways the hotel could improve the facilities & make more money without it costing a fortune. I would stay here again as it’s nostalgic but I do hope that they make a few improvements soon.

Ace location, a easy walk anywhere in Chaweng. The property is split between bungalows and a new Annex building, there's a swimming pool and restaurant right at the beach. We booked a deluxe room and stayed in the Annex building. The room was spacious and could easily fit 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. They also gave us daily bottles of water and it was very clean. Unfortunately, although our room had a balcony, it was facing the apartments in the building next door.

Okej för att vara 3-stjärnigt men toaletten borde renoveras. En stor nackdel var att det fanns en dörr mellan bungalowsen vilket gjorde det extremt lyhört!! Grannarna kom hem 3-4 på natten och vi kunde med lätthet höra allt som sades!

Really great location, right near the actions of Chaweng beach road but set back 100m so you can’t hear any party noise. Which is perfect. Comfy beds, good breakfast, daily housekeeping, good AC. A bargain for the price! Nice and quiet too, the guests staying here were really respectful and quiet.

No beach! There is no beach at this property which let us down as this was the key reason we picked this hotel. The beach is only walkable when the tide is out. The staff were the only nice thing about this place, they were wonderfully attentive and kind. The breakfast was very poor. We only ate once the whole time we were there. Oddly, the restaurant was fine for dinner as the food was great! We arrived in the evening and had dinner which gave us high hopes for the breakfast. The location is great if you're with friends on a party holiday but not for families with small children. Although the staff were great, the general feeling coming away from Montien house - Overpriced for what it is.
