What guests think

The location is convenient for road trips, with easy access to the Trans-Canada and many nearby restaurants and shops, though a few guests mentioned a rough parking lot, transients, or isolated security issues. Rooms are generally comfortable but dated, with occasional noise or HVAC issues, small pillows or firm mattresses, and intermittent maintenance problems such as weak-flushing toilets or loose fixtures. Breakfast is commonly appreciated with hot options, yet supply, variety, and seating can be inconsistent at busy times. Overall, expect a straightforward, budget stay focused on convenience and value.

We had a very good stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast spread was very good and there are many options for food within walking distance. The only inconvenience was having to carry the luggage up to the 2nd floor as the hotel does not have a lift.

It would be nice if the front door of the building had an automatic door opener; this would be useful for many people who are carrying/pulling luggage.

This place is not like any other comfort in I’ve stayed in. It was really a motel. The room door did not have a seal, clear gap around the door, and the window shade did not block any artificial or natural light out. There is no elevator. They room pets on the main floor and those without on the second, so you must be able to navigate the stairs with your luggage / etc. the bed was not comfortable and was quite itchy. The air conditioning was ok but def not working at peak Performance. Fridge worked and had a freezer. It was clean but very old. Front desk staff was excellent. I was regretful that I didn’t book the newer Super 8 down the road.

My stay at the Comfort Inn was good. The only thing I would recommend to work on would be the cleanliness of the room I stayed in. Room 202 was not cleaned thoroughly. There were random hairs throughout the room, ex: on the bed sheets and pillow cases, bathtub, bathroom floor, vanity and desk. The dust on the bathroom baseboards was thick, and the bathroom floor appeared to had not been washed. The carpet had little pieces of paper or something on it. Other than that we enjoyed the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Perhaps it was something that doesn't happen often. Thank you!

The room we were in was both good and bad. The smell was like a dog had lived in there a while; subtle yet there when you first walk into the room. Yet the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We really appreciated being on the first floor where we could access our car through a sliding glass door. That way we could unpack/pack our car with ease. We like that there was a couch and a desk in this spacious room. We didn't dare have them switch us after we noticed the smell, because the pros outweighed the cons.

Smelled funky. The room heater was loud, and tended to wake me up constantly through the night, but turning it off made the room uncomfortably cold. The carpet was dated, and the entrance was a single door which made bringing in luggage irritating.

I like that the room was clean and the location of the property is close to tons of shopping and dining options. The only drawback was having a room next to a room with a very happy dog.
